The clutch on my husband s 2009 Scion xB was not working properly so we dropped it off on Tuesday first thing. We received a call from Adam less than an hour later that it needed to be replaced. He gave us the estimate and we determined it was our best option to get it replaced at Mechanicsville Toyota where we would get genuine Toyota parts and a one year warranty. Adam kept us updated on status (waiting on parts) and we received notification on Friday morning that the car was ready. We picked it up Saturday morning and Adam was the one who completed the check out for us. He explained that he had driven the car into the bay and that the clutch was completely gone. He was knowledgeable, professional and kind, even changing the battery in my key for me when I told him it was not working. He told us that he had driven the car after the clutch replacement and gave my husband tips as to the differences he would encounter driving the car with the new clutch. Those tips helped immensely as it is now like driving a new car. We had a great experience and wanted to give Adam a major shout out as he is definitely a positive asset to Mechanicsville Toyota Service.

Bought engine coolant. Went at around 5pm on a friday. Quick service. Normal price. 1Gal for 33 including tax. Was in and out in 5 to 10 mins.

Their communication between customers and service personnel is below average. Their documentation needs major improvement as well. Continuously forgets to put an oil change sticker on the vehicle and reset the maintenance reminder. So, makes me wonder what else they are forgetting to do when it comes to maintenance...hmmm

Aaron (Service) w/ Mechanicsvillet Toyota did an excellent job, getting the tow hitch and wiring harness put on from the original purchase of the vehicle. The was not back to what I was anticipating.

Couldn't be any easier to drive away in our new Highlander. They are fair and we appreciate how everything was handled. EVERYONE wears a mask and it's otherwise business as usual. Hohoho Merry Christmas!

I had an appointment at 1 I was promptly served and was back in my truck by 1:25! Can't say enough about these guys I love my truck and the service is awesome.

Service attendant was ok, the wait time was over 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment and dropped off an hour before. None of my questions or concerns were addressed. Gave me a coupon which was nice. They just processed me thru, nothing to write home about.Update: My most recent service was much quicker. The service tech was friendly and updated me on progress. I did voice my concern about a few things I would have liked to have done but he dismissed it.

Sometimes the wait is long, but the service is top notch. I can either work remotely or mess around on my phone using their wifi in their customer lounge.

Staff is always friendly. They work as of I am there to make a big purchase. I ended up at Mechanicsville Toyota after going to another Toyota dealership with money in my pocket and was ignored for 20 minutes. I left and went to Mechanicsville Toyota and was greeted at the door. I have now bought three vehicles from there. The service folks are also helpful and nice.

Stay away from Todd Hardy. I was told over the phone what the all-in price for an oil change for my mother's car would be. After my mother returned home, I saw that he had snuck in a disposal feel, which wasn't mentioned to me over the phone (even after I asked multiple times if that was the final, all-in cost) or to my mother. The actual service was fine, but it seems like they are (or maybe just Todd Hardy is) okay taking advantage of an elderly woman by adding undisclosed fees. I left him a voicemail to call me back and of course he hasn't, even after a week has passed.Service: Oil change

Been a loyal customer of this location for years, and prior to Travis managing the service department, it couldn t be beat. He, however is rude, dismissive, condescending and unprofessional. After quite some time of taking this attitude from him, I mirrored his attitude, which he did not like at all. Will say/agree to one thing on the phone, and something completely different when you arrive. I did not file a corporate complaint to avoid my technician getting in trouble for messing up my truck but I held my ground and made Travis have it fixed. I have lifetime tire rotations from a recent purchase of new tires, and he advised me that he would not be honoring that despite it being included in my purchase. So we can add non-compliance with a contract to his list as well. Don t waste your time, find a different service shop.Services: Tires, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Reserve the right to change rating this up. I went in to get a rear tail light assembly replaced to pass inspection on my Sequoia after it failed. They replace it and charge me $248 for the part. I get home do some research and find the exact part from McGeorge Toyota for $122. Lets see if the Parts Manager on Monday fixes this discrepancy when he returns.

Had a surprise challenge when the oil-pan guard shield dropped down to the road right at 100,000 miles. The service dept. was booked up for the afternoon but they kindly said they would fit me in - which was much appreciated.

I've used Mechanicsville Toyota on several occasions over the last couple of years. The Service Guys are awesome! However, Sarah and her horrible attitude, her disregard of & towards the customer. Making the customer feel unwelcomed (because they're using the extended warranty sold by Toyota) and her always complaining about how their dealership makes no $ off the service repairs. Guess what. NOT the customers fault. This last experience at this Toyota and having to deal with Sarah and her nasty attitude. Was the last time I'll take my car there. She showed disregard 200%And never communicated the work that was done. Or even if the car was even being worked on/finished. Yet she had NO problem telling the customer. That you CAN'T have your car back nor leave the dealership UNTIL the warranty company puts the funds into the dealership account,!! Yes, she (Sarah) will make you wait there for an hr or longer for that. But as far as treating you the customer with respect and kindness in regards to the service of your vehicle. Nope. You won't get that from Sarah.She's the worst aspect of this dealership. And the reason we won't return.The guys... they're awesome. We've always had good customer service experience with them. But as they've explained. If you use your warranty. You have to go through Sarah and her Mechanic at this dealership.You could tell the guys wanted to help. But couldn't as at one point Sarah came across the service bay and snapped.This after I the customer had already been waiting 2hrs. With zero communication from her as to what the issue with the car was or if service had even begun.As a traveling nurse and in a time of Covid and driving rather than flying. I take the up keep of my car very serious. This is the worst treatment I've ever experienced from any Toyota dealership I go to.As I've mentioned. This was NOT the only bad experience with Sarah. Dealt with her nasty attitude/poor customer service in 2019. Never again.

I scheduled an appointment because my airbag light was on. After taking nearly 4 hours to only diagnose it, they told me that I would need a spiral cable replacement. The tech told me that it would cost $1100 to fix, with the part costing $700. I went to Haley toyota in Midlothian and they quoted the exact same part and maintenance to cost $680. Absolutely ridiculous and sad that you would upcharge almost $500 for the exact same work. I would absolutely not recommend coming here if you want to save time AND money.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I trust them to work on my vehicle, they do tell you that you will need other stuff done ,I hate that part .but you have to go to who you trust . they are the most professional and friendly Toyota dealership .they took the extra effort to make sure you are safe hear. Plenty of seating, with a lot of space between seating, seem like they are taking the covid seriously.

Good service. They don't try to sell you things you don't need. Wait time was long though
