he made a comment on the paper about wet transmission but didn t feel that was important to tell me.. not cool. also, i paid more here for a oil change than i ever have for the same type of oil.

My panel underneath my car became unscrewed and started to drag underneath my car. I came here from out of town first thing in the morning and they fixed it free of charge. I appreciate you guys.

Great service and little wait time.Technicians were informative and communicated with we through out the process of flushing my transmission lines .I would definitely use them when I don't have time to service my vehicle myself again.

I usually change my own oil, but a few months ago I let my mechanic do it while the car was in for another service. Last week, when I tried to change my own oil as normal, I found out the hard way they had way over-tightened the drain plug. I practically destroyed the bolt trying to get it out, but had no luck. Dreading the $300 bill I d be facing at the shop, I called this Jiffy Lube to see if they could handle a badly damaged bolt. The guy I spoke to told me to bring it in and they d try it. Midday on a Saturday, I rolled right up to the garage with no wait, and they gave it a shot. Initially they couldn t get it either, but before they let me leave they decided to try it one more time and they got it! These guys didn t have to bother with it they could have sent me up the road but they ent above and beyond and really helped me out. I ended up getting the whole oil change done.Great service and a fair price. More than happy with how it all went.Service: Oil change

1st time at this Jiffy Lube on R-360 in Mechanicsville about 2 miles off I-295..Had a pleasant & quick oil change that took maybe 15mins on a Thursday around 12 noon..And no lines, Which I'm sure is not always the case. The staff was friendly & helpfuland will definitely see me again..Thanks for your help,Giovanni & Gus

Great service and little to no wait time. My problem is that I provide the oil and filter for my 2012 VW Golf TDI and am still being charged $50. Walmart charges $54.88 for a full synthetic oil change WITH the oil and filter provided by them. This location can stay competitive by offering a discount for providing your own oil and filter and after speaking with their manager, they have no intention of doing so.Edit: moved to 1 star after they took 45 minutes to try redeem a gift card that they ultimately failed in and instead ended up charging me $20 extra by failing to know how to process the gift card.

I always use Jiffy Lube in Mechanicsville. They are super friendly and professional. They offer recommendations but don't force anything. Very respectful and really quick. The waiting area was clean and neat as well. Highly recommend.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I was in this location yesterday afternoon Saturday, 22 May about 3 o clock. The technician that came and greeted me at my car was polite. I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. His response was that they were shorthanded and they could not do my tire rotation. I said fine and was escorted inside. Another technician came in and asked me if I wanted the same oil used as previously and I said yes he said great will have you out of here in 10 minutes. I was checked out at 3:22. When the technician pulled my car out of the bay he squealed the tires. When I got in the car it was then that I realized that no one had vacuumed inside nothing else seems to have been checked or touched. I m really hoping they really change the oil. I was also amazed that the labor fee for my 10 minutes was 3499.My total bill came to $108 and I got none of the extra check off points that are supposed to be checked off. When I called today to see if they were taking some sort of special Covid measures and not doing all of their checklist I was told no they did everything. I have use this location for over the past 12 years and have never been this dissatisfied.Service: Oil change

This is a decent place to get your oil changed, but you definitely need to keep your guard up. They generally give fairly quick service and do a decent job. However, they will try to get you to perform services that you do not need. That's pretty much their business model, and it's true and virtually all of their locations. As long as you are comfortable telling them no to the extra services that they will tell you that you need, you'll get the oil change that you want, done fairly quickly and done well, and at a fair price. They send coupons regularly by email and you can also do a quick Google search to find coupons if you don't have one. And, of course, you need to check behind them by checking your oil a day or two after you have it changed. They generally have fairly inexperienced techs doing the work, so mistakes happen more than you would expect. I personally have never had an issue, but if you look on the internet you'll see that people regularly have motor issues after getting their oil changed at the quick change places, whether it be this brand or their competitors. The cause is usually not replacing the drain plug well, which causes engine damage when the vehicle gets low on oil. Simply checking your oil level the next day or the second day after your oil change will protect you against that.

I got up this morning believing that I was going to take my car into Jiffy Lube and have them perform, what should have been a routine oil change on my Ford Fusion Hybrid. Unfortunately, nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. Upon arrival, my vehicle operated flawlessly with no physical or auditory indications that any other issues were present. I asked for an oil change and the staff inquired if I would like the same level of services that had been rendered just a year prior when I received my oil change at a different Jiffy Lube location. Upon completion the technicians checked my vehicle and noticed a strange whining noise originating from what they described as my transmission.It's important to note at this time that all three technicians admitted that my vehicle was not exhibiting this behavior prior to it being worked on in the Jiffy Lube bay. Yet still, I was assured that the technicians did nothing wrong and that I was to believe this was some sort of spontaneous event.Now I have to incur the cost of the diagnostic from a Ford Dealership, the cost of a rental vehicle, and the additional inconvenience of being without my vehicle due to nothing more than wanting to get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube.If you have a hybrid vehicle do not bring it here, if you have any vehicle at all, do not bring it here. This has been an absolute nightmare situation.

I had an amazing experience. I got there as soon as they opened & my oil change was done in like 30 minutes. The guys seemed nice enough BUT the manager was fiery yelling at the guys directly in their faces. NOT cool! Other then that awesome. S/O to the guy Jay!

Always a good experience here, yes I would like to pay less but they do sooo much more than just oil, they clean your windows, vacuum car and do a great job at everything. I have also had my tires rotated in the past and they point out other items that could become issues and they have been great at explaining everything!

They list a cap then said it was never there. It is a brake fluid cap which I could not have possibly driven an hour withoutNow I ve got to buy one for $27!!!Total and complete rip off

I had never been to jiffy ever in my time of owning my new used car. I went in and told one of the mechanics that I wanted a standard oil change. He brought me to the waiting room and the other employee that was greeting and ringing up other guest never spoke to me or asked me my information. So long story short I got a 74$ oil change because I got home and realized my receipt had another persons name. I don t understand how this happened and I m very disappointed in the service. Especially since when the mechanic walked me to my car another mechanic voiced he didn t wipe my windows. I m just disappointed..

Awesome service, but everytime I go the manager has to go get my oil filter from local auto parts store. Please stock a oil filter for a 2008 f450 !!Manager has asked warehouse to stock them but to no avail. Still great service just extra 30 minutes for retrieving filter.

I'm a loyal customer of Jiffy Lube location in Mechanicsville. The employees there are friendly, and informative about my car care needs. The store manager, David, is always courteous, and very knowledgeable. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Great experience. It s been quite a few years since I went to a Jiffy Lube, but I was out of town for the holidays, and realized that I needed an oil change. Jiffy Lube was basically across the street, so stopped in. Crew there couldn t have been more pleasant and helpful. Went through all the checks, double checked my choice of synthetic oil, vacuumed my car and gave me some advice on topping up my brake fluid. No pushy up sell. Just a really good job. Nice going guys, keep up the good work. I ll be looking for a Jiffy Lube for future cat maintenance when I get home.

I ve normally had a great experience at this location and in the pay I d have given 5 starts.The manager has always been kind and thorough. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to this location because of the service in the past. However after yesterday I will not be returning. The team was led by a younger guy with initials on his shirt and he was more interested in laughing and playing than ensuring a quick and proper service was completed. He knew I was in a hurry and simply didn t assist in that. Once I finally got into my car I noticed the hood latch was not fully locked, I got out and fought to open my hood while he just stood there looking at me. I explained to him that the hood wasn t properly shut and he had something smart to say that he mumbled but you could tell by his body language he just didn t care.

The team at Mechanicsville Jiffy Lube is excellent. They are quick, polite, and thorough. Although it s a bit pricey, I would rather go here because I feel that they provide the same, safe care each and every time. The free WiFi, coffee, fluid toppers, and vacuuming is a another plus. Lamont was super. Thanks team Mechanicsville!!!!

I had an outstanding experience with this Jiffy Lube. Everyone was kind and professional. While performing an Oil change they informed me that the rivets that hold my skid guard in place were replaced with zip ties. I believe this was done by the last place that did my oil change and they never told me. Luckily there is an Advanced Auto Parts across the street. I found the pieces that I needed and they corrected the problem without any suggestion of extra cost. Even after making multiple trips to ensure I had the correct parts and amount that got right under my vehicle and ensured that I was good to go.

After driving on 295 and getting a rock to the windshield i started to look up places to get a quick seal so it wouldn t spread, jiffy lube came up and i have had terrible experiences in the past. Drove over and was greeted by the manager and explained what i was looking for it was a big hit and had already spread about 2 inches in 10 minutes, he stated it was larger than he would like but would give it his best to see what he could do. 30 minutes later it looks fantastic and I m so relieved, after explaining my past experiences he stated that the location i was previously going to was a different franchise. Mechanicsville jiffy lube is legit. Thanks David.
