Had a car issue on 95 south traveling through Virginia. Found Hanover Auto Repair on Google and Tom answered the phone and told me to stop by to quickly check out the car. Within 10min he found the issue with missing bolts in our break calipers. He had it fixed in under 30min and we were back on the road! Amazing shop and great people! Thank you for the wonderful service.

Love this shop and have been going to them for years. They've always been extremely kind and courteous no matter who it is on the phone or in person. Work has always been great and have never had a reason to complain after getting my vehicle back. I moved out of the area a couple years back so they're no longer the closest option, but I still make the drive back over to them because I trust their work and appreciate the experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Having a mechanic you can rely is worth its weight in gold. The clutch in my truck went out over the weekend. The guys at Hanover Auto had me back on the road in three days. I can t recommend them enough. Went in for my inspection. They fixed up my headlight. Enjoyed some coffee while I waited. It was a good experience. My sisters recommended this place in the Mechanicsville area. It was great!

Tommy and Amy are the greatest!! I had a blow out yesterday morning and a coworker helped me get my car to them with little warning that I was coming. They worked me right in. I left my car and left. Couple of hours later I realized that my inspection was due. So I called them that they might as well do the inspection if they had time. They did it with no problem. I will go no where else to have my cars worked on. Thanks y all!!!Service: Tires

I started coming to this auto shop maybe a year or so ago when they patched a hole in one of my tires. They are so friendly and always do a great job. this truck (with hanover repairs sticker) was driving so recklessly. almost hit me twice, sped crazily to get around me and then slammed on their brakes going from 55 to 25, with no in front of them. luckily i have good brakes, regardless i will never go here again because of the amazing advertising this pendejo providedService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

place took great care of me with a leaky tire when I was far away from home, did the job thoroughly, and gave me a great price. this place & Tommy is a model for all mechanic shops. I even had slime in the tire which usually is a mess to deal with which I tried to pay extra for but Tommy wouldn't let me. appreciate you guys again

This is the only shop locally that I will take my vehicle and families vehicles for state inspection. I'm a mechanic so I do all of my own work otherwise they would be doing my work as well. It is a small family run shop (husband and wife) that treats all of their customers just like family. They also will print off a sheet and provide it with your receipt if your vehicle is up for any recalls. They are all about getting your vehicle in and out and serviced correctly in a timely manner without just throwing parts and money at it. If they see any issues that may cause problems in the future they will also let you know about that as well.

We had to take our car in for a state inspection, we made an appointment about a week earlier and everything went very well, clean customer lounge people very professional and courteous would suggest using them for your automotive needs

These folks are fantastic. I had a set of struts replaced and the service was high quality, prompt, fairly priced and very friendly. Like the other review that was written on Google, I was also greeted with a handshake and a smile. My charges were exactly what my over-the-phone estimate was, and my truck was ready when they said it would be. Add to it, they have a clean shop and nice waiting area. I could not be happier with the experience. When my vehicles need wrenching, this is where I will go.

Been using John Tuck to work on all my cars for over 30 years. So glad he has a shop close by. Called for an appointment and they saw me on same day. Prices very reasonable and they explained what i needed done to car,no surprises. Have even stopped by with questions and John or Tommy have looked at my car with no charges. Business is very clean and everyone who works there very friendly. Would Recommend to anyone who needs a good honest mechanic.

I must say honestly that Hanover Auto Repair have always handled all, of my auto repair needs in the most honest and professional way of any repair facility I have used in my 60* years of owning an auto. They will get you in and out as soon as possible, and they do the job right at a fair price. You can trust them to do the same for you.
