BLUF: Choose Dorn s for your repairs!I can t say enough great things about Dorn s Paint and Body. I was tapped in the rear of my brand new (2 month old) Lucid Air. I live in Virginia Beach and Dorn s is the closest certified repair shop. WOW, did I luck out. Right from the start the service was fantastic. Emails and phone calls from Angie were smooth. She set up the towing of my car to their shop, then Clay took over as my service director. Clay s communications with me were fantastic.He kept me updated on the progress. Of course parts took a while from Lucid, but that is understandable. Clay was also quick to respond to any questions or emails I sent. And he went above and beyond in any little extras that he could take care of.My car was just delivered today with care. I couldn t be happier or more impressed with the quality of workmanship from the team at Dorn s.Heaven forbid if anything ever happens to my car again, Dorn s would be the only choice. You can t go wrong if you have them do your vehicle repairs.See the before and after pics.

This review is definitely coming a little late, but better late than never. Someone crashed into my brand new Model Y on the highway. Dorn's was phenomenal to work with and stands by their repairs. They towed my car with their own truck, which was then able to be comped by the other guy's insurance. They communicated well and always gave updates, usually by email. They helped me navigate the other guy's insurance. The repair took a little over a month because of parts, but that was not their fault, that's all Tesla parts. And their communication made the wait much less frustrating. They are knowledgeable about Teslas and I would trust them anytime with my car. Don't hesitate to use them.

Dorns Body and Paint Shop did a superb job on my Mercedes. It took a little longer than I anticipated, but let me tell you it was very well worth the wait!!! To my surprise they did more than I expected them to do, with all new parts. I was more than satisfied with everything!!

Recently had a front-end damage on my wife's 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Dorn's came highly recommended by the Land Rover dealer to deal with high end vehicle repair.Dorn's did not disappoint! From day one, we were met with high levels of customer service during the intake process with Miranda. Clay our service manager was golden and kept us in constant communication of the status of our vehicle assessment and repair. Clay ensured every inch of our vehicle was inspected for possible damage and worked expeditiously get all items addressed.Post repair, our vehicle was in better condition that when it arrived. Clay continued to display high levels of customer satisfaction by following up with us after we received vehicle back to ensure Dorn's met our expectations.Based upon our engagement with Dorn's, we even sent them our spare vehicle for automotive services since they provide other services than body work. They will now be our go to for vehicle inspections going forward.We were very impressed with the level of quality and service we received at Dorn's and will definitely use them again if in the unfortunate event of a collision arises.

I can not say enough amazing things about Dorns. My car was involved in a minor accident, and they were nothing but responsive, helpful & quick to help with any concerns, and of course returned my Jeep looking better than it did before it went in! The whole team at Dorns, including a fellow Jeep owner Angela, were all incredible & I highly recommend this shop for any and all repairs! Thanks again!

I hit a deer in February and Dorn s did a phenomenal job repairing it. My car looks brand new!!! Highly recommend Dorn s for any body shop needs you have.

Clay Milburn was FANTASTIC! In fact, I was impressed with Dorn l s in every respect. At the time of my accident, I had already entered my car in a judged competition out of state. Clay made sure that the repairs allowed me to show my car, using OEM parts! Clay sent pictures of the repair process at every step. He reaffirmed Dorn s guarantee, confirming if the repair ages poorly, Dorn s will repair it again. Highly recommend!

I used Dorn's Body and Paint to fix my 22' BMW X3 after a car hit mine in a parking deck at my place of employment. Dorn's is certified to fix BMW's and repaired my vehicle perfectly. When I arrived to pick it up, it was glistening; they'd detailed my vehicle after the collision repair. I was highly impressed with their high level of customer service and they treated me with such respect and kindness that I felt like royalty! All of my paperwork was conveniently placed in a folder to take with me. I qualified for their lifetime auto spa detail package since I used their place of business for my collision repair (and since the repair costs were over $2,500). I was beyond shocked and elated by this news and will surely be taking advantage of this courteous service. I highly recommend Dorn's for car repair and/or detailing services. I've already told quite a few of my family, friends and neighbors about my impressive experience and have recommended they try Dorn's out!!!!

The only place i will take my vehicles for body repairs. They are professional and keep you in the loop on the progress of the repairs. My insurance company was not cooperative, but in VA I have the right to choose who I want to repair my vehicle. I have a VW and they are VW certified. Miranda was great to work with and even told me they would go pick up the car if I needed them too (my son goes to VT) and they were willing to drive to Blacksburg. They worked diligently to make sure my son's vehicle was 100% so he would have a safe ride back to school.Mike was awesome as well. He was patient and understood my frustration over the lack of cooperation from my insurance company. I did have to pay out of pocket, however when I saw my son's car it looked amazing!!!!!!I am so thankful to the staff at Dorn's for there communication, responding to emails, and professionalism. If you ever need body work done on your car, please take it to Dorn's you will not be disappointed.

Dorn's was absolutely excellent. They were so friendly and helpful and were able to offer immediate help whereas every other place I tried said I would have to wait 2 weeks minimum. They worked quickly to help fix my car and I recommend them to everyone!

This was not our 1st time using Dorn's after an accident and not sure how they do it, but they just get better & better! Customer service is unbelievably top notch..we literally didn't have to do anything except drop it off-- not a single phone call or email had to be done by us to deal with the insurance Co.But the work done on our vehicle..wow! Looks exactly like it did the day we bought it brand new(except shinier)! You can tell their whole team is detail oriented from the impeccable work done.We will use them again & again!

I took my 2004 Land Rover Discovery to Dorn's to repair front end and passenger side damage. They made the entire process stress free, dealt with the insurance company and kept me updated throughout the process. The final product was better than I could have imagined. The car looks showroom new, inside and out. Would definitely recommend!

I loved working with Dorn. Clay and Angela particularly were so helpful - Dorn went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, including putting my car back together so I could drive it when waiting for final parts to come in. They made an otherwise bad experience - an accident - a great one overall. And I m definitely taking advantage of the wash/vacuum 4x/year - already cancelled my carwash membership ;) thank you Clay and Dorn!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Dorn's charged my $1600 above what insurance would reimburse.I had to pay out of pocket for an accident that was not my fault. Dorn's did not let me know that the insurance company would not cover it at 100%. I would not have gone with this "high end" shop for an accident that was not my fault if i had to go out of pocket.

The team at Dorn's was amazing. Clay kept me updated every step of the way and went above and beyond to ensure the highest customer service. Every part of the experience was customer focused and everyone there had that as a priority. I took my landrover to Dorn s for $1300 worth of new tires . Tony recommended a great tire for the switch out , giving my ride a better road performance than the previous tires on it. Very happy with that recommendation. Tony is very knowledgeable and communicative ; very helpful. While my car did need to go back the next day to get one of the tires looked at for a pressure issue, Tony was able to work it in the schedule and rectify the problem. I have used Dorns several times now on my Tesla.When I first picked up my brand new car there were some paint issues that needed to be fixed. I gave Tesla the opportunity to repair them for me and they completely botched the job. So I took the car over to Clay at Dorns and had them repaint the affected areas at Tesla s expense. Not only were they incredibly easy to work with, they also worked with Tesla to make sure I paid nothing out of pocket. After that the car looked so good I had them install a lifetime Ceramic coat the car to keep it protected, looking amazing, and super easy to clean. What a difference! It looked so good I had them coat my other car as well. Later in the year I had a Deer jump out and run into the side of my car. Being a Tesla it did over $15k in damages. Once again Clay and the team at Dorns were all over it. Not only did they restore the vehicle to better than new, they handled all the insurance nonsense for me. They were also able to get the car repaired faster than previously expected.These guys truly go above and beyond every single time. Clay is the most outstanding company rep I ve ever delt with. He is incredibly easy to work with, extremely understanding, and hands down the most responsive person ever. I will email him with a question and it s not uncommon to hear back from him within 10 minutes. It s crazy! I cannot say enough good things about Dorns and especially Clay. They have a customer for life and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone needing body work, paint, or ceramic coating to their vehicle. These folks know what they are doing. Be patient, because the long wait is mostly due to insurance company delays. I particularly recommend Decio Anderson, who made sure my little Mini came out looking brand new. I highly recommend this business.

Dorn's did a great job. They commuicated throughout the duration of my car being in the shop and gave my updates each step of the day. You would never think you could get an excellent experience from a body shop but this one provide s better customer service than any certified customer service agency. My vehicle was being repaired through insurance but every step of the way I was being informed of its progress and the next steps. Although I missed my vehicle the folks there took extraordinary care of it and made sure that everything was done and checked top to bottom. The cherry on top was the detailed vehicle I got back and additional services received due to the time away from my car. Thank you so much to everyone at this shop. Dropped off my 2021 mercedes-benz at donts on January 30 24 for a minor front bumper replacement they ran the bill up so high with parts that weren't really needed or may have not even been replaced the insurance company still ended up leaving me with a 300 balance to pickup just got my car back March 19 24 and still have to take it to the mercedes-benz dealership to get some active brake assist warnings lights taken care of, unacceptable I wish mercedes-benz had a in house collision center closer to me

Clay and his team are very professional and provide top-notch service. Clay gives an honest approach and clear understanding of work to be done and provides an excellent turn around time.Anytime I had a question or concern, I always had easy access to Clay and the Dorn's team. Had my 2021 Tesla Model Y repaired after a dear accident and they did a absolutely amazing job. They worked closely with my insurance company the entire time and they kept me updated through out the entire process. If my car ever needs work again I ll be calling them.

Dorn s repair my Jaguar to pristine condition after I was involved in a minor car accident. The customer service was great and staff is very friendly and professional. Car accidents are very stressful and the repair process can be too, but Dorn s communicated with me every step of the way and made the process seamless. I also liked and appreciated that they took care of all contact with the insurance company.
