Such a positive experience. So glad they handled everything with the insurance company so I didn t have to worry. The estimate, drop off, keeping me updated throughout the repairs & even pick up were smooth for me. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Angie.. she made sure I was informed with my cars progress and let me know as soon as it was ready for pickup. The he body repairs and paint look amazing & I got my car back quickly! Will definitely bring my car back in the future and recommend to anyone needing repairs!Service: Body & Trim

I had a great experience. Angie was very organized and efficient. She kept in contact to let me know the progress of my car repairs. The rental car company worked with her as well to provide drop off and pick-up for me. The body work was done quickly, and I m very pleased with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend them.

Amazing service from start to finish. Angie at the front desk is amazing, helpful and friendly. She gave helpful insight for how to make the insurance claims and repair process go a bit faster. They were very mindful of even my car rental cost, looking for anyway to keep costs manageable. They were very communicative and completed my repairs ahead of the estimated amount of time. I would definitely recommend CARSTAR Allen Conner Collision Center to anyone and everyone who needs any kind of car repair service.

Brought my Palisade here after someone backed into it. Angie's customer service is impeccable, and is very kind. She kept us posted throughout the whole process, and made it as easy as possible.The work was first class, and is like it never happened.I will bring all of my vehicles here in the future for any body work needs.

Took one of our vehicles to the 'Colonial Body and Paint Shop' in downtown Mechanicsville this morning for an insurance estimate. The staff were all wearing a CoV mask and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The estimate work took about 30 minutes from start to finish. The shop is located in a convenient location, about a half mile from the nearby 295 Mechanicsville exit or a short few miles drive down 360 east from 64. I won't be able to fully rate them on their auto body and paint work until next week when we are scheduled to pick up our vehicle. Sometime after I receive my vehicle, I will inspect the vehicle and post an update to this post.Colonial Body and Paint Shop' in downtown Mechanicsville did a fantastic job. I will recommend them to anyone needing paint and body work. A+ all around

Great repair and customer service. Issues was that it took a little longer than expected and a communication issue with the appointment today, but other than that, they took great care of my me and my car, along with the rental car

Experience was awesome. From the estimate for the insurance company to completion of the repair. I received a call every few days on the progress which was greatly appreciated. I brought my car to Carstar in mid-September of this year after it was stolen. Their shop was at the top of the list of recommended shops from my insurance company so naturally I thought they d be a great option. At first, they were; the owner was nice and the receptionist Angie was also nice and I felt I was in good hands. According to my insurance company, however, an error was made under direction of the owner on Carstar s part in sending over their estimate for the repairs (my car ended up totaled) and delayed the process of declaring it a total loss by about a month. Carstar was aware of this error as it is in their contract for handling repairs through said insurance company. I had also not heard any updates from them prior to calling last Thursday (October 26) so it seems that had I not called, there would have been even more of a delay. Overall, not satisfied with the handling of my case, but like I said they were nice.Service: Body & Trim

Alan Conner did a fantastic job of repairing and replacing the parts on my SUV. The receptionist was helpful and friendly throughout our time during the repair. I own a 12 yr old BMW135I that is an *family heirloom* (hand me down) . Recently *Gypsy* was the victim of a hit and run in a parking lot. I knew the repairs would be iffy because the paint was already oxidized and chipped badly, but she had to be fixed just to drive. Colonial did a awesome job of blending the old with the new, and even did extra to my rims etc. To make sure it all blended. Gypsy looks better than ever, and these guys are ROCK STARS! USE THEM!

CarStar exceeded our expectations. The staff is truthful and specific regarding each step of the repair process. Twice a week the office gave us a status. I highly recommend CarStar. One of THE best service companies I've ever had the pleaseure of working with. They were quick, efficient and excellent results from my quote for body work to the actual work done. Just exceptional customer service. Angie called every Tuesday and Thursday to keep me up to date on what process my car was in. I found that to be most helpful and professional. My experience was great, great job on my vehicle. Only 1 issue I felt rushed to pick up my vehicle once completed. My question was how long would it take. Respectfully I was told didn t know for sure which was understood. No hurry at all! Notifications were also great. However once completed I felt RUSHED to come get my vehicle. I did say I d try to reach there on my lunch break. Unfortunately I wasn t able to. For that reason I was spoken to by Angie in a different manner. That really upset me because I felt rushed. Aside from that everything went well. Not sure if I d use again. Customer service is the face front of any business.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

OMG! I was waiting 3 months for the other insurance company to accept my claim. They still didn't accept. I went thru my State Farm & my car was fixed by CarStar within 5 days. They did an excellent job & even took charge of Enterprise Rental for me.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I only got to interact with the staff via phone, but it was an enjoyable experience, nonetheless. The secretary made me feel very comfortable and let me know exactly what was going to be happening next. They know their business at Conner's and they don't fill the customer with a bunch of fluff and unnecessary information. I'd absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing body work on their ride!

Angie and Tony provided excellent customer service from beginning to end, the team did terrific body repair work, and they are honest. Angie kept me apprised of progress every step along the way; she arranged for my rental before I even walked in the door (even the Enterprise Rent-a-Car manager praised Angie when I finally turned in my rental); and she got right back to me with answers regarding the additional work I requested beyond the repairs covered by insurance for our car accident (our car was rear-ended). I asked Tony to please check my driver side door window because it was slow going up and down. He told me that all it needed was a little oil, no repairs or parts were necessary. His team applied the oil at no extra charge. I will remember CARSTAR Alan Conner Collision Center-Mechanicsville for future work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Giving a 5 star rating to this establishment. The whole experience was as great as can be for having a wrecked car. Estimator was prompt and explained everything to me. Took several pictures and also took care of all the paperwork with the insurance company. Front desk person called and left several "updates" on the progress of my car while it was being worked on. Outcome was terrific - vehicle looks as good as before the accident. I will definitely recommend CarStar in Mechanicsville, VA to anyone needing fast quality vehicle body work done. Thank you!

The was rear ended and my brand new ev6 was damaged- But CARSTAR MECHANICS TOOK ME RIGHT away for an estimate and repaired it in about 6 weeks- it works like new and they were very nice.
