They were quick, very accommodating. Drove my car back to my home and were cheaper than almost everyone around my area. Will definitely come back for all repairs and would highly recommend for anyone needing work done. They were excellent.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

A pleasure to work with Shawn and his crew. I went to Wayne's to get a estimate on an engine swap for my Chevy Silverado. Not only did Shawn do the leg work on finding me an engine, he also negotiated the price for my engine and got me a better deal. Four days later I got my truck back, (They even delivered it to my house) engine was swapped out, and has been running like a Champ since. These guys are top notch, and charge a fair price. I will be a return costumer, and I highly recommend them.

I used the business to tow my car to west imports. The tow truck driver was a really nice guy. He was nice and courteous. He worked fast and efficiently. I followed him to west imports and he waited patiently as they did paperwork and paid me for the car. They were awesome at west imports as well. So i came out with 414 dollars and the fee for towing was 75 dollars. Well i had 74 dollars and i told the tow truck driver i would come right back with another dollar. He told me the 74 would be fine. So i pulled off happy with this transaction. As i arrived home i got a phone call from the number i recognized as the tow company i just used. I answered to a gentleman named Mike who was clearly angry telling me that i was supposed to pay them 75 dollars. Well i thought he was that mad over a dollar lol. So i explained that the driver told me what i gave him was fine. He was at this time talking to someone in the background. I'm saying what are you talking about. He wouldn't answer me after calling me being rude. At this point I'm repeatedly saying sir what were you paid. He then said oh never mind im wrong. A business professional would say ma'am I apologize I've obviously made a mistake please accept my apology. But i got "my bad i was wrong" and a click. I will never use this company again and wouldn't recommend to anyone. He could've explained himself to me. Honestly, he SHOULD'VE GOTTEN HIS FACTS STRAIGHT PRIOR TO CALLING A CUSTOMER WHO PAID GOOD MONEY AND BEING DISRESPECTFUL. He shouldn't be in any position to do customer service. After this rude interaction i called the tow truck driver and asked him should i bring the other dollar and pay him. But he told me no that's not necessary. Please waynes auto get rid of MIKE he is not a good addition to your business

I bought my van from Mr. Smith and he agreed to my amount to pay each month, unfortunately it no longer will crank. My van has been out of commission for over 5 months now, BUT this has been a long time business that has amazing Mechanics; I would trust any vehicle with them, however after the unfortunate passing of Mr. Smith, things have been a bit held back, which is understandable, but I would advise to give them some time so that the new owner/operator Mr. Jackson can get things in order so he can have the business running smoothly once again.

Wayne's is by far the best mechanic/auto business I've ever visited. Super professional, timely, courteous, and great at what they do. I'm extremely thankful for the quality of work they did, particularly when I was in a bind. Will always bring my vehicles here.

I had to find automotive service for a vehicle that had been sitting for almost 3 years, in a place that I was unfamiliar, and I stumbled across this business. Sean and I discussed the vehicle, its issues, and the estimate. The call ended and I was on my way to his shop key in hand. A week later the car was ready and I was curious to see the results. I test drove the vehicle and was pleasantly surprised at how well it ran and drove. ALL repairs were made as agreed to and I have had no problems since!Honesty, Ability, Service Delivery, and Fair Pricing make Wayne's Auto the most sensible choice for auto repair in that area. I have had no problem recommending them already:) Thank You to all staff at Wayne's Auto of Martinsville, Virginia.

As far as work and prices, they are very reasonable...but, don't leave anything in your vehicle while at the shop...had half a pack of cigarettes and a lighter taken...and watch your gas gauge, if they have it more than a day...half tank of gas disappeared over 3 days at the shop.

Took a 1993 geo tracker here for a belt and new tensioners, they didn t even test drive it or anything, said that my smooth shifting manual car needed a transmission flush? Which most mechanics recommend not flushing transmissions.Had another mechanic look at their work with the black dust from the belt on the alternator. He pulled on the belt said it was loose and that the tensioners needed fixed. Wayne and them put the first belt on, then I brought it back for tensioners. They didn t do the first belt job right or the second time.Wayne s messed up one job twice, and then when I told them what to do, they didn t even do what I told them to do, and then did something completely different. if I could give 0 stars I would.Edit: due to the reply. I took the car in, told them it was the tensioners and they didn t even look at itLater on when the other mechanic towed me, I sent them pictures of my car with BLACK DUST on the alternator from the belt. My car had 80k miles at the time and is in good shape, it wasn t some beater 1993 car. They put a belt on, so I m not sure why you don t have a record of your own mechanic or who did it, putting a belt on my car, because I have a receipt for it.Your manager might have test drove my car and I have no way to prove that he didn t but he sure didn t open the hood and see the black dust on the alternator from the belt or even feel the belt to see that it was loose. I m not sure why I should have to tell you this now, or specifically hire you for a diagnostic fee when you could ve just opened the hood. I wouldn t trust somebody to work on my car if they have to be told to have a diagnostic fee before they even look at a point blank obvious problem.I told your shop manager that it was the tensioners. I literally told your shop what to do and you didn t look at it. I wish I would ve recorded my voice when I walked in there. But I do have receipts of the next shop fixing it a day later and a picture of the faulty work. Also we weren t told that it was gray with metal fragments in the transmission, we were told by your shop manager that it was glitter which is normal. I also sent my girlfriend in to pay, and your shop recommended bringing it back in 2-3k miles to flush the transmission again??

I know someone who just picked up their jeep after spending 700. and the car is exactly he same as before, inoperable. If they are so great, maybe for some but not with us. If they would like to correct the problem, I'm listening.

I went here to get a couple of radiator hoses, and a t-stat housing gasket replaced that I bought. I also bought new clamps, & silicone to go with it. Whenever I pulled off the lot and stopped at Wal-Mart I inspected the job that was done. The mechanic did not bleed my radiator, did not use my silicone that I bought, but kept it, also they did not refill my coolant to where it was suppose to be. I forgot to mention I also bought the coolant myself. I had to go in Wal-Mart and buy a gallon of coolant due to the mechanics negligence! Also they did not install my bypass hose correctly and made the leak worse. It was wedged, and coolant was dripping out quite fast while the vehicle was running, and off. So I had to take it somewhere else to have that fixed. This place isn't very customer oriented either. Employees smoke in the waiting area, place is not clean at all. However the owner is pretty friendly, and talkative. Before I left the mechanic took my vehicle for a drive and came back. Before I went outside the owner and mechanic was talking outside and he asked well what do you think is wrong with it. The mechanic said it's definitely something in the rear, then when I went outside the mechanic changed it and said it's something in the front. They didn't know I could hear them I guess. Also they have a lot of people that hang out that does not work there. It didn't look like this place was in the best part of Martinsville either. I will never go back!

Took my '98 Chevy truck to have the engine overhauled and replaced, I had to take it back five time under warranty. I had to take the truck to another mechanic to fix their mistakes, the engine leaks oil, and the engine skips among other problems in addition I found out the mechanic put in mismatched used spark plugs instead of new one after the engine was rebuilt. Do not take your car to this repair shop.

I was quoted between 500-600 to fix my car, when he said that he finished the work it cost me almost $800. But my biggest issue is that the car has more issues after he "repaired" my vehicle than it had before.
