very disappointed today, the cook wears no hair net or gloves when cooking food. he seasoned the fries bare handded. i found a piece of his beard hair in my burger( it was cooked into the cheese) and my fiancs burger was very undercooked when we asked for it to be well done. for $40 this was awful we will definitely NOT be coming back!

We loved Orlean Market. The location is beautiful. Dine surrounded by nature and calming views. Tables out door have you feeling like you're at home. The food is out of this world. There is so much variety in their menu yet they take time to make sure each entree is well craft. We had the cornbeef hashed breakfast and it was so FRESH and full of flavor! We also had to try the sausage gravy because all those around us kept saying it was amazing (which was right). The sausage gravy was full of flavor over fresh baked biscuits. YUM!We can't wait to to try the rest of the menu!

Laid back, with a wonderful and welcoming vibe. The tree swings were an added bonus for the kiddos!! Adults enjoyed afternoon cocktails and satisfying eats. Great spot to watch the sunset too!

Friendly service, and delicious food! A group of 8 adults and 4 kids visited for the day to enjoy the ambiance and celebrate a birthday. Holly and the whole crew made sure we were welcome, comfortable and they checked on us frequently to keep the nibbles and cold beverages flowing. The kids had loads of fun on the rope swings and even made some new friends, including canine pals. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful little place in the country. Really, the only place around for miles but they don't rest on their laurels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Maybe slightly understaffed but not by much for the afternoon I was there. I had one of the biggest club sandwiches in recent memory and it was delicious. They have a reasonable craft beer selection, nothing huge but not bad for a small place.

I got a brisket sandwich and an order of French fries that was like ridiculously priced, little did I know the French fries came with the brisket order so why would the server not tell me at the bar? I also asked for no barbecue sauce and sure enough they put barbecue sauce on it... and waiting 2 hours for a band to set up to start playing music is ridiculous, why not post a start time a little bit closer to the actual starting time advertised...

Went to a favorite restaurant tonight Orlean Market. Ordered a personal pizza with double cheese and double pepperoni.Got it and the dough was raw. The bottom didn t have any color, and it looked like a normal pepperoni pizza. I ate one piece and felt a little grossed out. Left the rest and by the time the server came back, (drinks were long empty) she apologized and asked if we wanted it cooked more. I told her I was not interested and just take it back. She said she would take it off the bill. So, she came back with the bill and the pizza was still on it. My wife asked why, and she said that it was not cooked because I added too many toppings....I was a frequent patron of this place but I ll find another that has better business decisions.I added a pic of the double pepperoni. Pretty sad especially if you look on their page, it shows a pepperoni pizza with way more pepperoni than mine did. So, we paid for the pizza and they kept it less one slice... at Orlean Market.

These guys are incredibly awesome & the food is out of the world!! I ve not ever gotten bad service from them. It s unfortunate these days I don t get to see them as much as I would like to. Im originally from the south but this has been my home since 2006, I find them to be so down home friendly, efficient, professional and freakin awesome! I always look forward to seeing them. I literally miss them & their customer service. I give them 10 plus stars The Cobbler Gobbler, Tuna Melt and Philly ROCKS! I don t know . I don t think anything they cook has been not YUMMY I love being able to just run in for fresh deli items etc. The bottom line they keep it REAL and so friendly & awesomely GOOD repeat customer loyalty for life

Orleans Market is a staple of the area. We've always stopped here for a sandwich and a can of coke, and no matter how old we are we take a moment to play on the swing. If you're not from the area do stop in and order a sandwich, my favorite is the reuben but my sister swears by their brisket.

Very awkwardly laid out store/restaurant/deli.Can't order some things from one place and can't order others from the other. We got a sandwich from the deli but instead of making a fresh one we were given an old one out of the cooler. Couldn't purchase drinks from the bar side after waiting in line for 10 minutes. So we had to go to the store side(which isn't easy to find through multiple doors) place is a bit of a nightmare.

Some of the best comfort food staples can be found here! Great corned beef hash, BBQ pork and brisket, breakfast burritos, pizzas, sandwiches, and more. Varied selection of fresh eggs, alcohol, ice cream, wine, energy drinks, juice, and fresh produce. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. Fun live music on the weekends too. Perfect place to get gas or a bite to eat if you're in the area!

Lovely! We were invited to experience the last Friday of the month traditional music circle. The music was ad hoc and traditional and just perfect! The setting was a small room off the mail Sonic fig room and the musicians played guitars, the banjo, mandolin, harmonica and bass. It was the equivalent to being in an Irish pub but with traditional blue grass music. Perfection!

Was looking for a spot halfway between Gainesville and Front Royal to meet my nephew for his birthday came across this GEM and wow what a great choice. James was awesome and very welcoming. Made us feel at home right away. The food was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place to eat. Prices are reasonable as well. Definitely will be coming back to this place and the history of it is awesome. I ordered the Reuben and it was hands down one of the best Reubens I've ever had. If I could give this GEM more than 5 stars I would. Looking forward to our next visit for sure.

We live just south of Orlean and would love to make the Market a regular stop. But each time we've been there and wanted to eat outside due to covid caution, all the outdoor tables were taken up with folks smoking. For us, this didn't lend to a inviting atmosphere and we haven't gone back for eat in. Lots of folks seem to enjoy the place. Drove by tonight and the lot was full with a band. Perhaps we are not their target market, but having a patio area where we can have a good meal without lots of smoke would make a big different to us. We eat out a lot, enjoy good food, good company, and good wine. But so far we've not made the Market a regular stop due to the lack of a non-smoking outdoor eating space. But hope springs eternal!

Great food, great service, great music, and a great selection of beers and wine. The owner, Kia, and the rest of the staff are always friendly, attentive, and helpful. We're lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood and will continue to be regulars!Must try - Burgers, Reuben, meatloaf & pizzas (honestly haven't had a bad thing on the menu - it's all been good!).

I was passing through this area and the owners of the Air B&B I stayed at recommended this place for a home cooked meal! The owner Kia is a very friendly and welcoming person and everyone that worked there was so kind. Great vibes, great food, great people! I tried the Phillie cheese steak and went back in the morning for corn beef hash made with local organic meat! I ll never forget the experience I had here and it makes me want to come back to this area of Virginia!

Burger was good. Service left a lot to be desired. Our first time visiting. We were ignored for a good five minutes and eventually had to seek out someone to seat us. Our waitress took our drink order. That was all we saw of her. Someone else brought the drinks. Someone else brought the food. No one checked to see if everything was okay. No one brought our check. We finally went to the counter and asked for our bill. They couldn't find it in their "system." Regret going out of our way to try this place.

Usual friendly environment. On this occasion, I dropped in just for a cup of coffee. It is a good local food and entertainment facility which I have visited many times and will continue to frequent.

The Food tasted flavorful and fresh! They have a nice array of options. Kid friendly even! Staff was welcoming and nice! Definitely worth a stop or even a special trip out there! I hear they have live music sometimes too! I plan on trying the crabcakes and strawberry salad next time!
