Last time we visited this Stuckey's I gave them the worst review that I have ever given. It was pre-pandemic and I decided to revisit the place. This time the bathrooms were clean(the ladies' room doesn't have a door, but the stalls have doors) and the tables also looked clean. The shelves are still stocked with plenty of local delicacies, but no souvenir t-shirts.The food orders take a very long time so if you're getting gas, order the food before pumping your gas.

Have been stopping by this location of 40 years. Not really worth stopping at anymore. The food is very expensive for reconstituted frozen stuff. Prices have doubled in the last couple of years for hot dogs and burgers. The burger we got the meat tasted old. It was $40 for the two of us. The pecan log we got (Stucky s staple) fell apart out of the wrapper and also seemed old. They have gas and public bathrooms. They sell fireworks but not the kind that go boom, just the sparkling kind. There are so many other options for places to stop in the area and we were so disappointed this last stop by (Feb 2024) that we will it be going back.

I've been going here for all my life with my dad... And my dad went with his dad.We usually stop for breakfast or lunch if we're together. I personally think it's a strange place to eat but it's worth the stop with the gift shop.Looks like it has new owners tho. I could tell by the new arrangement, which seemed aggressive to supply convince. Personally I thought it was great, new owners are smart or at least their marketing team is.

Stuckey's of Mapsville was a wonderful place to go eat and/or shop for snacks 30 years ago and continues to give the same excitement and magical feelings to my children 30 years later. Since my childhood, my mom would bring my sister and I to Stuckeys for our "out to eat" night and we would enjoy some amazing burgers and fries. Whenever we, kids, had extra money we would walk to Stuckey's to load up on fireworks and candy. Fast-forward 30 years later, my kids were enjoying the same amazing burgers/fries and loading up on fireworks and candy. Love this store and I hope I can bring my grandbabies out here 30 years into the future.

When they say country, I felt in the country with this store, especially with the smell. They have a few Stuckey original pecan log rolls and peanut brittles. They also have some Virginia Diner peanuts available. It was nice seeing honey and honey butter as well that I just had to grab one. They also have cured bacon/ham. Lots of candies. They also have a few souvenir and home decors.

Stuckeys is a fun place to stop to pick up unique items or travel items. We always go there to get a jam or jelly, sauce or candies. For instance we took home a jar of T.O.E Jam, Yuck right but it was a tangerine "T" orange "O" and elderberry "E" jam which was more like a jelly. Where else could we get that. See you next time Stuckeys.

A travel staple when driving to Virginia Beach. Nothing fancy, just good and quick eats and drinks.

I love that they have little gift Items. Great prices. But the snack bar I must say has the best scrabble, egg and cheese sandwich with home fries. Love this country store.

I used to stop at a Stuckey's back in Missouri when I was a kid. I thought it was so cool and was full of cool stuff and candy and everything a kid could want. Well, this Stuckey's is smaller, full of interesting stuff, different trinkets and candies and food, but the years have not been kind to my perception of what is and isn't cool. They had the regular stuff, the candies you would expect, but now I understand why my parents were never really over joyed to stop at places like this. I think it's a nice piece of Americana. It happens back to time in the US when things were simple. If you need gas or a break from driving this is a good place to do it. If you want the shopping experience, your better off at Cracker Barrel.

I really wanted to love it and I think the people there are trying. The good part is for that stretch of the road the bathroomd are relatively clean. Ordering food to go takes forever so if you have to do so order the food before you pump your gas. I also hate that the card readers don't work at the pump, it always makes me suspicious of fraud.

The worst place to consider eating. Food is old and will give you stomach issues. Burgers are frozen and served half cooked.Service is at its worst. This place shouldn't exist.

I remember going here every year as a kid on our way to Norfolk. It still has the same appeal - it's a quick stop, clean rest rooms, and great food! Love the BBQ sandwiches! The candy selection was great and very nostalgic. I wish they had more games or toys appropriate for car trips. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly.

I've wanted to visit Stuckey's since I read the lyrics in the song "Winnebago Warrior" from the Dead Kennedys. After many years I finally made my first visit. There is a kitchen here, souvenirs, and plenty of seating. Great place to stop for a quick bite to eat or to stretch your legs.

What an awesome break this was. If you remember Stuckey's from your past, stop by. Absolutely incredible prices on everyday items and souvenirs. But the restaurant was the GEM! Everything was perfectly cooked with wonderful tastes. And the black coffee was great!! Worth the stop on 13!!

Restrooms were falling apart, the men's room door didn't even close and it is like a restroom stall door, not a full door. Restrooms dirty. Food from the grill is disgusting and over priced. Don't stop unless you have to

Stuckys is a perfect place to take foreigners to visit or any American!. It has a taste of every bit of America in it. Southern cooking, soul food, every lit bit. Pedro loved the shrimp and the fried peanuts, and I ll tell you one thing we will be back for years to come. God Bless America

First time going here, great place! Tons of wonderful little products I haven't seen anywhere else. Sauces, spices, locally made products like honey, chutneys, syrups, glazes, hams, bacon, pickeld products etc. Really nice place to find something special. Also has great fresh made food to order... I got an order of hush puppies! They were fantastic! We will be back there often.

I'd feel better if there was a door on the ladies restroom, but otherwise awesome place. Food was great! And big plates! I love all the stuff they have. Great for a tourist to stop in!

I stopped for Eastern Shore souvenirs..no luck. They only carry Stuckeys t-shirts. If you want a sandwich or peanuts/jams or a small assortment of fireworks, you might be satisfied.
