I recommend going to Dixon's as a great place to go for your automotive service needs. I received a thoughtful recommendation for some maintenance without being pressured to have it done, they offer good value, have friendly staff, and a nice place to sit while you wait. They are very accommodating, allowing me in before my appointment time. I'll be sure to return.

Great experience!! I called last week about scheduling service and they were able to schedule the following Monday. Excellent customer service, and I love that they offer coupons!! I saved $20! My husband had a great experience with his truck after he had multiple other shops give him the run around about previous work done. Highly recommend Dixon's!!

Dixon's was great! I had a headlamp assembly that I ordered to be put in come in broken and they quickly made me aware of the problem. I was able to get a replacement and they went through all the trouble of taking the bumper off a second time to fix it. They were so kind and gave me a great deal for the whole job! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs repairs. They are professional and are so nice to work with. Thanks!

I have had nothing but excellent service since we started taking our three vehicles to Dixon s. They take the time to make sure you understand what is going on with your car and are patient when you don t (a special thanks to Joe in that regard)! Most of my dealings with them have been solo because of my husband s schedule and it s nice to have a trusted place that doesn t try to upsell you on every little thing or straight up lie as well. The pricing has always been fair and they have quick turnaround. They also have a loaner car has program which comes in handy and I also love that the lobby is spacious and doesn t stink like an old shop, I have been able to bring my computer and work while waiting for my car to be serviced no issue. I would 100% recommend Dixon s for any vehicle needs you might have!

This place is the real deal. My family just moved to the area and we were looking for a trustworthy auto mechanic. The team exceeded all expectations and got my vehicle back to me in a timely manner. My inspection included a detailed report on my vehicle informing me on parts that may need service in the near future. They informed me but didn t try to push or sell the future services which I appreciated. I ll be taking my vehicles back to Dixon s for future maintenance

I have to give a shout out to Joe and the team at Dixon Automotive. I called yesterday morning regarding a nail in my tire. He took over, got the tire size, ordered it just in case and made my appointment for that afternoon. Very professional, caring and was an enjoyable experience. They changed my tire and reassured me everything will be fine. Any automotive services you need~rest assured they will take care of you. Kudos to a professional quality automotive service in King William!!

Dixons Automotive is an Amazing Business. If I could give 10 stars I would in a heartbeat. I called Joe the day after New years and he set me up with a tow for my Ford F-150 and reassured me they would take care of my issue. I replaced my starter but I was still not getting it to turn over or Fire. On another note they have a texting system setup that gives you updates on your Vehicle and the Progress with pictures and notes from the technician no other shop in Richmond gives you those updates. Please keep that feature it s so convenient and reassuring that you are a priority and that you truly care about the progress of my vehicle. Long story short my Technician working on my truck found that the signal wire needed replacing on the starter and it was a blown fuse causing the no start issue. I have never had a shop that made me feel so relieved and comfortable solving the issue of my truck. Dixon s cares and they are fast and transparent and trustworthy and never once they tried to sell me on anything else besides solving my problem. I picked my truck up in 24 hours and the vehicle is like brand new. Starts up Perfectly. The staff is one of a kind and very professional I will be bringing my vehicle to them always. Thank you Joe and the Technician that worked on my truck you all are a true blessing. Keep up the Great work.

Our experience with Dixon's Automotive Repair in King William was above any and all expectation and professionalism in todays environment of customer service. We have never been to a Dixon's establishment before. We called in the morning looking for an appointment for an alignment ASAP due to vehicle throwing codes and not performing correctly. Not only did they fit us into the schedule when nobody else would or could, but they took our vehicle in as soon as we arrived. Dixon's was set up just like a dealership but a whole lot better of a red carpet experience. They had free drinks, snacks, computer work stations, WIFI, and a whole lot of small-town hospitality. Steve, our customer service rep, sealed the deal for us with his professional and friendly mannerisms in us wanting to return for any future repair needs. He explained everything at our knowledge level about the alignment process and the codes they found during the pre inspection. Came back when they completed the alignment/test drive. Not only did Steve explain, but he showed us that the issue was resolved and that the codes seen now on the printout were all historical data. He never pushed us to do additional work but made friendly notes and suggestions of what the mechanic observed during the test drive. Even though we live 40 minutes away, Dixon's @ 874 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy, Manquin, VA 23106 is now our new goto business for any automotive repair needs. Great experience, Dixon's and Steve.

I had a great experience with Dixon's. Jay, is a great mechanic and explains what is wrong and what needs to be done. He has been my mechanic in the past and I am so glad to have found him again at Dixon's. I had an extended warranty claim so Joe and Steve had to communicate with the insurance company to get a new starter. The insurance company was not easy to deal with but they kept me informed and always returned my calls promptly. Getting your car repaired can be a nightmare but everyone at Dixon's was helpful and professional. I highly recommend them!

First time using Dixon s and we will continue to use them. They were very hospitable while I waited for my vehicle. They provided very thorough explanations of vehicle concerns including photos and videos on a report.

I recently had a state inspection and Joe was nice enough to explain each part of of the report. Due to Joe s help I was able to understand what needed my attention. His ability to ease my lack of auto knowledge was well appreciated. I then booked a front and rear brake repair

Let me be clear that my rating has nothing to do with their work due to after a week of my car sitting there they still had not diagnosed it. Joe, the service guy, kept telling me they thought it was a wiring issue, which after looking at some of the reviews, it almost seems like that s their go to fake preliminary diagnosis. After my car had sat there for a week, full disclosure they are closed on weekends, and one of the days was a holiday, I had it towed to my normal guy who I thought had gone out of business, but actually had not, and he called me an hour after having the car towed there told me my car was ready to go, and it was nothing more than a fuse. I cannot speak to Dixons quality of work, but as far as customer service they are absolutely horrible and I strongly advise against taking your vehicle there.

I was quoted $686 for four tires, but I was charged over $2,000 when I picked the car up. When I questioned the service manager he told me the $686 quote was for one tire? Doing the math that doesn t add up either. To make matters worse I could have purchased the same brand of tires at a tire store in Mechanicsville for just over $1,500. I received no apology or excuse for the error from either service adviser working that afternoon? Nice new shop just be careful for the inconsistency in the quotes. If it wasn t an inconvenience for me I would have had them remove the tires and bought them elsewhere and saved $500. Very disappointing!

Our vehicle's temperature gauge was running hot as we approached Dixon's Auto. Without hesitation Joe, as he introduced himself came out and checked on us and gave us antifreeze for "FREE." We couldn't have asked for such polite service. Thank you Dixon's Automotive Repair for such great customer service. You have just earned yourself a new customer.

Friendly, honest and professional. Were willing to honor my coupon beyond the date and even advised me to get the tires first and then schedule my alignment...I thought the opposite. They did not have to share that fact.

I only used them for a state inspection, but they were able to accommodate my schedule. All the staff were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I will definitely use them for any other maintenance needs that may arise.

Great job and service! Would recommend to everyone. Staff is friendly, patient, knowledgeable. Especially the guys up front Steve and Joe. Building and waiting room is very nice. More than fair prices! Can t recommend enough. First visit for my husbands truck will definitely return with my car!

I was in a pinch after my attempt to plug a flat tire failed. I found a Dixon's coupon and was in their doorstep that following morning. The tire was professionally patch and balanced. The coupon saved me $20, and the staff was very professional and courteous. I 'll be back, hopefully not with a flat, however if another flat happens, Dixon's will be my destination. Thanks Dixon's for helping this veteran senior citizen!

I had probably the best experience in quite some time here getting my vehicle inspected. Got me in quick, staff was more than pleasant, sent me a digital report of things that needed attention now, and in future for planning purposes ..I will definitely be a customer for life!!Edit - still true!
