My parents love the new (used) Subaru! Charles went above and beyond to get the best deal for them! The process was as quick as selling a car could go. Everyone was extremely pleasant. If you are looking for a Subaru, definitely go to Safford and ask for Charles!

Be very careful before servicing your vehicle at this dealership. My dad serviced (Oil change and tire rotation) his vehicle on 01/30/24 and paid $97 for the service.Today (3/11/24), he had a exact same service done at this dealership and they charged him $155 for the same service. They also performed a 6k mile service that he never asked for and charged him without his authorization After realizing that he was charged about 50% more than last time, he went back to the service advisor and asked why the price was significantly higher than the last time and they told him that this was the normal price and person who helped him last time doesn t work there anymore (I called the dealership later and price they quoted me was lot less than what they charged him).I feel like the dealership took advantage of him since he doesn't speak English very well I also noticed that they had different email address on the repair order which is very strange to me because they emailed him to his correct email address in the past I have a suspicious feeling that this was purposely done to avoid a factory survey

Buying the car was really easy bobby the sales person was really helpfull . But 3 weeks after buying the car it started giving me problems . First time i took in the car for oil change and tired rotation i mark my tires to see if they change them as advice from bobby the person that sold me the car and they didnt they also scratched my car which they did admit and fixed. 3 weeks ago again i took in my car for same problem they told me it was fix and 1 week after again same problem . I couldn't get a loaner car the day i drop off my car and had to argue to get one 2 days after its been 10 days since i drop off my car again and they have not fix it yet . Meredith at the service department has been great but her manager on the other hand has zero people skills and its terrible at helping costumers . I wouldnt recommend this dealership to my worst enemy save your money and take it elsewhere.

I purchased my car in September 2023 and had a wonderful sales experience. Shout out to Anibal, my sales rep! However, I just had my first experience with their service department for my first oil change. They auto scheduled my appointment for 12:30, which I thought was very thoughtful. After sitting for two hours I went to check on my car and they said it was almost done. Two hours? For an oil change? Were they making my oil from scratch in the back? I would totally understand having to sit and wait like that as a walk in customer. Two hours wait time with an appointment is just absurd. Not to mention when you first walk in the people working in the service department just take turns looking at you. Do we not greet customers any more?

Had my new worst car buying experience with Safford Brown. Started off great, the salesman had a new 2023 Forester lined up for me to look at and even had a used 2023 Kia Sportage that I was interested in, delivered to the lot so I could compare both. I ended up going with the Sportage, 15k miles for 5k less than new, sounded great. While driving the car home, I noticed a lot of wind getting through the top of the door. (Wasn t close to a highway for the test drive to know this before purchase) Yesterday with rain, water started getting in. I call the dealership and am told to bring the car in. I do so, but before leaving, try to push the door back in a little so it won t get me wet on the ride there. I listen to the wind noise the whole way there, door also vibrating at the latch at some points. Manager and salesman drive the car and swear they don t hear any issues. I show them the damage and explain the noise is definitely there. I was told all SUVs make wind noise, it s not a Mercedes I try to explain, it s not the wind going OVER the car, but wind getting IN the car. Somebody had obviously forced entry into the car. Still get the Well we hear nothing so I ask them to let me exchange the car, as they have a 3 day policy. Well this ended up not happening, because they cashed my check before the period was over, which would require me to cancel the check, reapply, take a credit hit and possibly a higher interest rate. I wasn t willing to take this risk, so I was forced to keep the Kia. Listened to the wind noise the whole way home. Honestly just feels like they think I m stupid and don t understand how cars work, or they themselves don t understand how cars work. Why offer a 3 day exchange policy and cash the check within 24 hours of purchase? Final complaint, I told they didn t know if the car had a second key since it came from a sister lot, and I wouldn t know until the morning. Big surprise, no second key and it s $450 to get a new one from Kia. I will never be able to, in good faith, recommend this dealer and will for now on encourage people to avoid doing business here.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Subaru of Manassas. My sales man was Mejia. The wait time was incredibly rude; instead of valuing my time, the staff could have easily communicated matters via text to save time. I drove 40 minutes to the dealership only to be met with utter disregard. My presence clearly meant nothing to them. The car I was interested was not ready and took a while for them to pull it out from the back as a couple cars was blocking it.Despite the Mejia- the sales man being occupied with another customer, the manager could have taken the initiative to sit down and address my concerns instead of being behind the computer and on his phone at times. Although Mejia knew I was coming. Instead, I was left feeling neglected and unimportant. I noticed the customers before me were treated with more respect and given more time for negotiation running back in forth between the manager. To make matters worse, I was only presented with one OTD page with no willingness to negotiate or offer a counter proposal. It seemed as though closing a deal was not a priority for either the salesman or the management. Even if my offer was deemed unreasonable, it s standard practice to provide a counter offer or at least attempt to meet halfway as the previous customer did multiple times. It s possible that it was closing time or the salesman s mood was affected by a previous customer, but that does not excuse the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. I was ready to make the purchase but he dropped the ball.Furthermore, I was taken aback by the dismissive attitude towards other dealership offers. This dealership lowballed my trade in, offering $4-$5k less than the value others offered. There was no effort made to entertain or consider them. I sent them to Mejia but he ignored them and probably didn t even show the manager. He stopped responding to my messages on top of that when I tried to continue the sale. To top it off, the way my keys were practically tossed onto the desk at the end of the interaction was incredibly rude and disrespectful and said I have nothing further for you.Thinking of spending $65k and being treated like this from the dealerships is absurd. They responded to this review saying I should reach out to Chris the GM. No number was provided and after multiple phone call attempts I got in touch with him. He does not care nor was willing to help and just said thanks for your feedback. Dealership clearly does not care about customer feedback or satisfaction.Overall, my experience at Subaru of Manassas was highly unsatisfactory. I would strongly advise others to think twice before considering doing business with

The staff is professional and try to be helpful. I recently did the first service there for my car that had bought earlier, also from this dealership. The service experience was one of the better ones I had experienced so far, and it was offered free of charges along with a complimentary car wash. Well done Stafford Brown Subaru of Manassas!

I was dreading buying a new car, but it was a surprisingly great experience at Safford Brown! Gabe and Patrick were super helpful and friendly, and I was happy to get a great deal on a new WRX premium. Make sure to go see Gabe when in the market for a new Subaru, he will take care of you.

I HATE shopping for a new car---the hassles, the haggling, the frequent bait and switch, the high pressure sales techniques---I HATE it. Brown's Subaru in Manassas has won me over. Eric Bukhari could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, funny, personable----everything I DIDN'T expect. He gave us a great price on a new car and spent a LOT of time going over it with us. These cars are so smart these days, I had to ask Eric to go over AGAIN a couple of features, which he was happy to do. Everyone I encountered was just wonderful. It's an hour and a half from our little town, and I do NOT enjoy driving in Northern Virginia, but when I'm ready for a new Subaru (this is my first----a Forester---- and I think I'm going to love it), I won't go anywhere but Brown's. I can not recommend them enough.

I was impressed from the moment I walked in. I was immediately greeted by Othmano, my sales rep, while my dog was treated like royalty and received lots of belly rubs and chew toys from Subaru staff. From our first conversation, Othmano s professionalism and knowledge were apparent. He patiently listened to my needs and preferences and helped guide me to the perfect SUV for my lifestyle (forester wilderness). I m excited every time I jump in and go on an adventure, but most importantly, I feel safe. Othmano knew that having solid safety features for both myself and my dogs were at the top of my list, and he delivered. His attention to detail, sense of humor, and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire process a breeze. I highly recommend working with Othmano and the SB Manassas Subaru team. Their expertise, friendly demeanor, and exceptional customer service truly set them apart. Thank you guys!

Excellent service!! Everth was excellent. He kept me informed throughout the process which was very efficient. He was very personable and did everything to make my wait pleasant. Even though it was cold he was able to get my car washed. Also appreciate getting my FOB battery changed and windshield wipers replace. Outstanding

We looked at a couple of Subaru dealerships before deciding on Safford Brown in Manassas. The outstanding customer service that we received from Othmaro Mejia made the drive worth it. He got us the Forester Limited that we wanted in Magnetite Gray with all-weather floor mats, body molding, bumper cover and cargo net. By purchasing the 2023 model, we saved some money. We love our Forester, especially the large navigation screen. When the time comes to get another Forester, we will look for Othmaro. He speaks both English and Spanish perfectly and made us feel very welcome. He also matched Carmax s price for our trade-in.

Meredith is mother vibes. One of the best, if not the single best, interaction I've had in my life involving motor vehicles. She was just approachable, consistent and always friendly, not to mention she's phenomenal at her job. I had a sizeable amount of work done on my car but from the moment she shook my hand I knew that I was being cared for and looked out for. You just can't find better customer service anywhere. Thank you Meredith, I'll see you for my 120k.Stay safe out there and if your Subaru needs work or just a checkup please consider Safford Brown and make sure you ask for Meredith.

*Update* Not surprisingly, the comment they left on my review has no contact information, and when I finally found a general online form to'contact "them.... No response!! Absolutely ridiculous!!My opinion; I am beyond outdone with this dealership. The only reason I chose this one in particular and drove out of my way is because they were the only ones that had the car I wanted. They act accommodating to get you into the dealership, then once I was 90% done with the transaction, the salesman left. All of the other employees thought that was weird, but what are you supposed to do at that point? Then I found after we made the purchase that they are absolutely impossible to get in touch with when you have a problem.I had to comb through anything I could find to locate the manager's phone number, and he would never call me back.I couldn't get the title for my car and they offered no help and acted like I was crazy, when the fact of the matter is,if they would've simply*returned a phone call or email* the problem could've quickly been resolved.NOW this week,I had to take it to the mechanic and spend more money because one of the brake calipers were put on incorrectly when the dealership replaced the brakes.I would request compensation for that, but guess what? Now I can't find *any*information on how to contact anyone about this! So my advice- avoid this dealership to keep from having months of headaches and annoyance .-_-

I had a disappointing experience at Sheehy so I reached out to the management team at Stafford Brown via email. Patrick the general manager and James the general sales manager both replied almost immediately and assured me that they would meet my needs. They delivered and actually surpassed my expectations and I m a picky person. Contrary to my other experience, they very humbly and quickly put together my deal. We quickly agreed to terms so I Drove in and they delivered on everything they promised and more. Don t waste your time elsewhere and save yourself the arrogance of other dealers. Call Patrick and James immediately! I also was fortunate enough to have sales associate Vicky walk me through all the new car details and get me to the finish line. . I couldn t be happie with my experience! Thank you team.

I recently purchased a Pre-Owned Certified Subaru Crosstrek from Safford Brown Subaru Manassas and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. As a first-time car buyer, I was initially apprehensive about the process. However, the staff at Safford Brown, especially Eric Bukhari and Ayham Bekbashi, were extremely reasonable, kind, and helpful. They took the time to educate me about the car and the buying process, and worked with me to find a deal that was fair and reasonable for everyone involved. I am very happy with the deal they gave me on my new car and on the valuation and trade-in of my used car. I have been telling everyone what a great experience it was and how well I was taken care of. Thank you so much for being such an upstanding dealership. It was really a fantastic experience.

I used to go to this dealership throughout the duration of my factory warranty. Recently they've been having a ton of issues with availability, fixing cars on time and suchThe last straw for me was when I got my oil changed and they made the huge and obvious mistake of not sealing my oil drain plug with a crush washer. I wasn't given much of an explanation they just put a new crush washer on and put my oil back in the engine. They didn't tell me if it was topped up or measured for how much oil I had lost, and that just broke all my confidence I had left in this place.Whoever they hired to change the oil wasn't trained properly on how to reinsert oil drain plug. I've been changing my oil ever sinceIt doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out that no oil equals no engine... After my last experience with someone being incompetent and almost ruining my only car. I will never go back to that dealership and probably any other dealership. You're only as good as your word

Definitely an awful dealership to buy from. They'll do anything for you while your shopping, but once you hand that money over you can kiss any promise good bye along with their 3 day policy. They will cash your check immediately and your on your own from there with a gamble of a vehicle.

I bought a used 2013 Toyota 4Runner from this dealership and it was published as being in no accidents. I missed it but the front passenger door is a different color white. It clearly was in some form of an accident. It may have been a bad dent or worse. I ll never know unless I buy my own car fax. It s a shame! I learned another valuable lesson on buying a used vehicle. See it in sunshine and get the car fax printed out. Other than the door being a different color white the vehicle appears to be in good shape.

Customer service is good at this dealership, but their mechanic aren t good. I wouldn t take a vehicle for a diagnostic at this dealership. They say things without knowing and they also don t double check their work. I would take it to a different Subaru with better trained technicians. This dealership doesn t have good mechanics.

Service advisor was awesome. She understood the problem, got the service ticket captured and worked with the technician and parts to order the right part needed to repair the issue. She also check the extended warranty status.

Extremely disappointed in their customer service. Sold a car to my son told him he had 3 days to exchange but cashed his check in less than 24 hrs and would not exchange the car. The car has a terrible noise on drivers door. This car was to be transportation for my grandson to therapy and doctor appointments in Charlottesville. Hope the sales people can sleep well knowing how they did.

Within two weeks of an oil change (that took TWO hours) I get a smell of burning oil. Both my husband and I checked underneath the hood and found oil splattered everywhere. It looks like a bomb went off underneath the hood of my car there s a puddle of oil around my filter as well. I m typing this as I m sitting in their lobby waiting for their technician that did the damn oil change to figure out what he messed. Not how I pictured spending my Thursday morning and barely even an apology at that. This is the last time I ll ever be coming back hereEdit: it s been two hours and I m STILL here for this issue ..
