Scam artists. Let me start by saying I'm a car girl. I grew up around cars. So I love taking it to shops them seeing me thinking. I'm stupid and they're gonna make money with that being said, I Went for an oil change and was told our oil cap is too small and they tried to charge me $60 for a replacement.Got the car back and turns out it's not too small, they somehow managed to break it while doing the oil change. Then they lied about it and tried to charge me for fixing their mistake and told me a bunch of things that "were wrong" with my car that weren't wrong with my car to try and get more money out of me. You'd be better off taking your car to McDonald's to get fixed.

SCAMMERS! Went in for a headlight replacement and was somehow charged $150. One of the employees refused to give proper explanation. Too much money for so little of a job. Please avoid this place, they will overcharge you

Outstanding! I have never had an honest mechanic in my life. These guys are top shelf! If you are tired of being ripped off, this is the place to go! Courteous and friendly. William and his staff will have you in and out and not take advantage of you and your hard earned money! I will go here anytime I have a problem with my car!

I went there to get an oil change and after the oil I had to wipe my dirty drivers sides door handle and the dirty steering that had pet hair on it which I m allergic to pet hair. It caused my skin around my neck to become red and irritated.

Had an appointment that I scheduled over a week out. Arrived on time. After waiting for nearly two hours, I realized they were finally pulling my car in. I told them about having to leave for an appointment when I arrived. Thank you for wasting over two hours of my day off and getting absolutely nothing done, so I'm going to have to do it all again.

it was my first time getting an oil change and i was expecting a good service, but i come to find out they did not fully close or seal the oil pan cover , as i was driving away from the place, i heard the scraping against the road almost like sparks , from the pan sliding against the road , i do not recommend this place , the workers had one job and gave me back my car with a setback instead of a finished service

I made an appointment request for 6/27 from 7:30-9:30 for a safety inspection. Once I was done, they said I should expect to hear from a team member in 30 mins. My appointment would not be scheduled until someone contacts me. Well today is 6/29 and I have yet to hear from anyone. Twice I have been to this establishment that says they open at 7:30 and the building is empty. Another day, I went on my lunch break and I asked how long is the wait for a safety inspection and he said tomorrow, the guy didn't come in today. Since this is how they operate their business, I may have dodged a bullet trying to get my car inspected here.

Went there today for oil change and inspection. I only wish I read the reviews first! The character that attended to me reeked of weed and alcohol! How unprofessional! They make you fail inspection just to make money off of you! New SUV just 3years on this earth never failed any inspection ever and nothing changed as I barely drive it since I work from home. Now they made up stories of how I need to change this and that? Really? Run folks run! You do not want to come here and get ripped off. SCAMMERS!!! Will never return!!!Imagine a generic response through the years talking about how we can help turn the situation around! LOL why don t you start by turning around your scheming ways and see the reviews turn great! If everybody is talking about the same thing there has to be some truth in it! Turn from your SCHEMING ways!!!!!

My parents and I have been going here basically all my life , and recently I got a oil change done and somehow this time the guy who's name was John did my oil change and now I cannot lock my doors from the driver door and my truck dings while my driver door is open witch didnt do before unless the key was in the ignition. Dont really know what the guy did for this to happen and it really bothers me because I went for a oil change not nothing to do with my locks or ignition. Very upsetting. But besides that William is a very great guy everytime I walk in if hes not busy on the phone or with a customer hes welcoming me right in. Even though this has happened witch has been the only time something has happened to my vehicle here, I recommend midas on sudley road to anyone because they are fast reliable and do what's right. I just think maybe the guy "John" was just rushing to get it done. But it's very unprofessional to get back into my truck and figure this problem out when I just took it in for a oil change.

I have been coming to this Midas at 7892 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA. For well over 20yrs. Will, the shop manager and Sean along with Calvin some of the Mechanics there have always been straight forward with all repairs or inspections.!I have had one vehicle completely modified from engine work,Transmission work to full exhaust replacement. Sean rebuilt my axle rear end for racing. If your needing a good reliable shop for repairs or replacement parts. Unfortunately I have some type of car issue every couple of months and for the last year I have been utilizing Midas. Reading the reviews I have NOT had a bad experience, if anything they have turned my bad day into one of laughter and positivity. I appreciate all the guys that work there as they are professional, funny, knowledgeable and honest. I would prefer to know upfront what I m working with than to have my already bad situation sugarcoated. Will definitely has me laughing by the end of my transaction considering I m near tears going in. Johns knowledge regarding parts and inexpensive ways to fix my vehicles is great. Today ,March 3rd 2023, I went for oil change and tire rotation to Manassas sudley road Midas. Once the service was done, when I was driving out, felt some vibration. I drove about half a mile and stopped my car at Costco parking lot to check the issue. What I find was shocking to me. Both of my driver's side wheels lug nuts were not tightened. All the 6 nuts on each wheel were just dangling in there. Lucky me that there was traffic on 234 and I just drove 10 miles speed and detected the issue in 5 minutes after I left Midas.This type of ignorance can cost someone s life. I am a customer at Manassas Midas from 2003. There were few incidents before, but I kept on going there. But today s ignorance can t be taken lightly and I would advise people to avoid going to sudley road Manassas Midas. Their ignorance can cost your life.Updated: 3/20/2023Owner reached me via email and phone. He was very polite and addressed the issue with his employee. William, Jonathan, & so many others are fantastic. I have had the pleasure of their business for two of my vehicles for 8 years (Hyundai & Toyota). They are always well informed, thorough, kind, have great initiative, & they work with you as best as they can.I had to get rid of my first car but needed to drive it to my PA to purchase my new car. They noticed the axel was beginning to fail and repaired it quickly, for a reasonable price so I could make it to PA SAFELY. For this, I am still grateful.The team there is competent, trustworthy, safe, respectful, reliable, straightforward, and always a full of good energy. I really appreciate this group of mechanics.Oh but just ignore the name on their caller ID. They apologize, it is out of their hands (owner's last name is not their fault). Had an oil change. They were fast and cheap. Get what you pay for. No reminder in the window, didn't fill the washer fluid. I'll go somewhere else next time.

These guys are the best. 2 years in a row I come in the day before inspection and they took care of me 2 years in a row. They didn't change my rotors automatically with my brakes but recognized we caught the brake pads early. They do good, quick, quality work. They're HONEST. I pretty much switched over to them for all of my maintenance now. Thank you fellas!

William from day one was professional, friendly, fair and honest! I need a engine harness replacement. My Ford Explorer sat at Ford oursman in manassas for 5 months. I took it to Midas. William got the part ordered and installed. I was quoted 5000 from Ford and paid less than a 1000 at midas. After a yr of not having my truck it now runs like a champion! I will recommend everyone to use Midas! Ask for William. He and his team are the best in town! Thank you fellas! From the bottom of my heart thank you all!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had routine maintenance twice, excellent customer service on last visit for routine service informed that I needed at least one new tire but all tires were at 2/32. Of course was not prepared for such but I was given multiple options regarding cost and types of tires. They gave me good information regarding each brand. The best feeling I got was that even though I was a lady I did not feel taken advantage of as many other automobile places have left me feeling.

I called before I arrived and I definitely felt the customer service on the telephone was poor, but I wanted to at least give it a shot in person. When I I arrived I received I the same type of approach or lack thereof. I don t spend money at a place where I m not greet politely and professionally. I should not walk into a place of business and feel unsure if the Midas representative is having a bad day or if they re upset with me or whatever the case may be. I really don t understand how someone is expecting to receive payment from me and have no professional approach at all to the process. I pulled out, drove to next door, was greeted professionally and respectfully and got the work done there.

I came here for an oil change and two months later I found out my car was leaking every time I parked. The people here aren t professional at tying the oil filter knot. I highly recommend don t come here for oil change or Jiffy Lube either because they will mess up your car without you even knowing.

They were so wonderful! I had to have my tail pipe replaced. They were extremely easy to work with. I bought the part myself (much cheaper) and they only charged me labor. It also took much less time than originally thought. I definitely plan on going there again!

This place tricks you to make you spend a lot of money in their shop.They lied to me that my car would pass the inspection and later on came with a bill of $211 stating that I have to change my light bulbs in order to pass the inspection.The clerk was very disappointed and disrespectful and asks me to call the state police if I was not happy like he doesn t care.I told him that he has lost two customers and I will report them on google reviews.A place to avoid at all cost.Service: Oil change

Overall, I've never had any issues with this particular location. The folks have always been friendly and have provided good service. One thing I will caution, not just with this mechanic but any mechanic is to not take their word or estimate at face value. Let me be very clear, they didn't lie to me. That being said, I took my car in for a diagnostic inspection because the service engine light came on. They informed me that I needed a new catalytic converter. They quoted me with parts and labor approximately $950 (the majority of that being the parts). I thought that was extremely high priced so I went and priced out a catalytic converter from advanced auto. The exact part that Midas was going to charge me approximately $800 for was actually about $350. So I bought the parts and then on a whim called them and asked if they would install it if I bought the parts. They said yes. The parts and labor cost me about $550. So just a word to the wise, buy your own parts and find a mechanic who will install it and only charge labor. It will save you a lot of money that way.

No one likes car repairs but Midas makes getting problems fixed almost pain free. I ve had my car in for multiple issues this year and they always get the repairs done in 24 hrs or less and charge much less than other places I ve gotten estimates from. Problems are clearly diagnosed and explained, with written or verbal estimates prior to any work being done. Definitely would recommend you check with them before having automotive work done.
