Our Class A diesel pusher RV broke down, stranding us on the MD-495. Got towed to Cummins and they jumped right on it. Traveling around the country as we do, we experience many levels of professionalism. Let me tell you this shop is top of class! No bull, just straightforward, hard-working and knowledgeable folks that know their engines! Delighted to be back on the road, but it was a pleasure meeting this team!

Made my appointment on a Thursday morning for Monday. I called Monday evening someone lied and told me they just pulled it in the shop. Tuesday morning I get a email to approve a $1300 diagnose. I approved to get the ball rolling! That afternoon I called to check on the truck and ask why the fee is so expensive? I was told only the supervisor can answer that. I went by to check on the truck around 2pm and it had never been moved so I just got my keys! I should have known better after only seeing RV s and Firetrucks in the parking lot!

I had to have all six injectors replaced on my Cummins 500 hp diesel in my RV as it was blowing heavy smoke as we drove around Washington, DC. The engine had about 65,000 miles on it. I am assuming that we got some bad fuel somewhere. The dealer in Manassas, VA was the worst. They would not talk to me on the phone as they were doing the work, which took several weeks. When you went in their showroom they acted like they didn t know you and could care less. They were totally unfriendly. When they were done and we paid the bill, they forced us to take our luggage through their showroom as they would not open their gate for us. They were totally unhelpful. The bill was about $16,000. After we left Cummins in Manassas, the RV was jerking as we drove. After a few hours of driving like this, we went to the Cummins dealer in Kenly, NC to see what was wrong. We told the Kenly dealer our problem and they sent several service people out right away and found that the Manassas dealer did not tighten the nuts that connected the power to the fuel pump. The dealer in Kenly was excellent, very helpful and totally different from the Manassas gang. It is now, several years later and I had to take the engine into Cummings again as it was blowing heavy smoke. We went to the Cummins dealer in Bakersfield, CA, who were excellent. They had to replace a lifting rod in one cylinder. It was bouncing around in the cylinder and scoring the lining. I know this was caused by the Manassas dealer in Virginia not tightening the lifting rod bolts properly. I got some money off from Cummins, after calling the main office, but this repair cost me close to $14,000. This cost and the work was due to the horrible service that I got from the Manassas Cummins people. Bottom line here is totally avoid the Cummins dealer in Manassas, Virginia. Drive on further to the Kenly, NC dealer or probably any Cummins dealer other than the one in Manassas.

Had appointment for a simple propane regulator change on my RV. I supplied the part. They gave me an estimate of over $700. That is twice what it should cost. Said it would take 4-5 hours. It s a one hour job. Had it done before. Only 2 possibilities. They were deliberately trying to rip me off, or they are incompetent to perform this simple task. I walked out.

Wow! We received the best service today. Our generator quit working while we were on a road trip far from home and I called to see if the generator could be seen today. Kim said to bring it in and they would do their best. We arrived 90 minutes later. Kim had Daniel, the technician, take a quick look and he thought it would be a fast fix. Less than 2 hours after our arrival the generator was fixed and we were back on the road. Great job Kim and Daniel

I had to take my motorcoach in for an engine-recall item. I found the service-desk staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The engine-recall repair was professionally handled in a reasonable timeframe, so my "downtime" was kept to a minimum. I'm very pleased with how things were done, and I won't hesitate to go back again! Thanks for a job well-done!

Unresponsive. Not interested in earning your business. Called for a simple generator part. Waited over 15 minutes on hold and finally spoke to someone clearly not happy to be there. Could not look up.part on the phone said they would call right back. No one ever called. No wonder their repair yard and parking lot are always empty. Don't waste your time here

I can't speak on the quality of work done at this location because no work was started much less completed, they don't want to do what it takes to get my job done when tho it's critical I get it done sooner than later. They don't want to bring in a tech early to take care of me because they open at 7 and not sooner even tho I'd be paying for the extra labor. Customer service is meeting the needs and requirements of the customer not the customer meeting the needs and requirements of the business. What's worse, it wasn't the shop trying to figure out a way to get my business, I was the one coming up with solutions to the problem, we talked at length and I was the one trying to talk them into me giving them money! My solutions required them to do extra and go outside their norms one time and only way they'll do my work is if I conform to their needs, which is the opposite of customer service. So, if you have any issues that don't fit into how they want to do business, stay away because they're not willing to go above and beyond for their customers/potential customers. I know they don't monitor their reviews but, hopefully, I'll save someone else the trouble and aggravation I went thru.

I recently lost (stolen)the generator door cover on my motorhome. I called all over Northern VA + and the best anyone could do is put me on a wait list. Visited Cummins/Onan in Manassas, VA. The parts represenative Brian was extreamly helpful an got me the part in 2 days. I can't say enough good about the service I received. Polite, helpful and courteous. I will use this location again for all my Onan Generator parts.Brian at parts is the man, he is the best of the best, right on up to the manager.

3-3-16 My truck lost all power got there at 3pm .. They couldn't get to my truck that day.. Stayed the night there... 3 different workers said i could use bathroom or break room if i need to... Service Manager said we can get to your truck first thing tomorrow morning.. Ok Got woke up at 6:30am from tech.. He came in early to get working on my truck... Great service!! Found 3 things wrong.. had 2 of the 3 parts there found the 3 part sent a other work to get that part... fixed it and i was out on the road at 3pm... Great service, great people, excellent job guys!!

They tricked me so bad, so much BS after trusting them with everything. I paied 4k and my truck they said is ready. The truck can not be driven, it is not passing the pretripI might go to court for this. Shame on them

Parts department has terrible customer service. It took three days and three phone calls for me to finally get a quote. It seems to be a requirement that you have to be snarky and talk down to the customer. I will never use this company again.

worst service ever they had my RV generator for 3 months when i finally got mine back they had given me someone else's unit , ... don't trust these guys terrible i had to locate RV repair company across town performed all repairs fixed my gen set correctly ,,stay away save yourself the headaches and wasted expenses wasted time poor service

Very good service! We had a problem with our Onan generator during our RV vacation in Virginia and after 2 hours we were able to get back on the road! Thank you so much!!!Tr�s bon service! On a eu un probl�me avec notre g�n�ratrice onan lors de nos vacances en vr en Virginie et apr�s 2 heures nous avons pu reprendre la route! Merci beaucoup!!!
