Tom was so wonderful to work with. He was responsive and communicative when I reached out. He scheduled a time with me, greeted me when I arrived and made my son and me feel comfortable in the waiting area- even offering to put on a different show or movie for my son. Tom installed the hitch and wiring harness on my car, made sure it was configured exactly how I wanted it to be, then walked me through exactly what he did, how to use it, and what to consider changing in the future if we need a different setup. I'm so glad we found Tom and his shop. We will be using CARS for all of our mechanic needs from now on!

Outstanding mechanic and always top-rated service. Mr. Hasse is an excellent diagnostician, and is extremely fair in his repair philosophy- if it only needs a small part or wire, he doesn t order a new engine or transmission. Gets you back on the road fast.Wonderful shop, most highly recommended.

Walked in with a cracked muffler, an engine light, and needing a state inspection. Tom helped get my car road worthy again. Tom provided fair prices, no BS answers and never tried to up sell. With a great knowledge base of all makes and models and years of experience, Certified Auto should be your first choice. Thank again Tom!

I m so happy that my friend from the Senior center recommended me this place. Tom is very friendly and helpful. Showed me what the problem was and fully explained it to me. Very reasonable and very knowledgeable about his work. Thank God and I thank you for everything. I went to this shop based on the shops reviews. I have some mechanic background. Long story short. The issue I though it was, it was not. Tom explained to me what it was. I never heard of that issue, that it could cause the problem. He showed it to me on the computer how it happens. He is not rushed and takes his time to explain everything. Anyway I went back to the place who installed the tires and explained to them what Tom had told me. Man I got the defensive act from that store. it's not true, it's not possible etc.... I called Tom and had that "tire specialist" talking to Tom. That person did not believe Tom. The person from the tire shop could not answer Tom's questions about the matter. Regardless of the issue. Tom is honest, not trying to sell you something you don't need. He stand behinds his point and backs the customer up. I have not seen that in a very long time at a business. He didn't work on my car. I ended up trading in the car. But he has my and my family's business if I need work done on any car in the future that's the place I will go to. Thanks Tom for the great customer service you provided.

This is the best shop to get your car needs met! This is the only place I take my car. Tom is an awesome guy and awesome mechanic! I needed to get my car looked at and inspected. He was busy working on other cars and had his own personal appointment afterwards, but made time to help me out instead of making me come back another day. Honest shop without any upsell service BS. Tom, Certified Auto Repair Service, is very honest and professional. Tom has serviced, maintained, and repaired my automobiles for about 16 years. even when I was going to purchased a brand new car, I took it to Tom to ask his opinion before I purchased the new car. That's how much I trust Tom. I would not take my cars to anyone else for repair.Certified Auto Repair Customer service area has always had an exceptionally clean area to wait but during this pandemic, Tom makes sure that there is hand sanitizer available, a clean disinfected area to wait in for your vehicle or can make arrangements to pick up your car when its ready. I never have to worry about going to Certified Auto Repair Service. This on top of the honest, reliable service that is offered. I had a work truck that needed a state safety inspection. Tom was great at fitting us in the same day I called to schedule an appointment. My driver was in and out in 30 minutes. Thank you Tom for great customer service and we will definately be calling you again for repair work

Honest, Straight Forward, ComfortableComfortable wait room, though I didn t spend too much time there as my appointment time was honored. Explanations were in easy to understand language and straight forward. There were opportunities to up-sell not taken - clearly the owner values long-term honest relationships with customers over short term financial gain. Do yourself a favor - save yourself the headache of high pressure garages and complicated sales people and let Certified Auto Repair Services make it easy for you and your wallet.

Tom is definitely one of the most genuine people I've ever met, I've been into his shop countless times and haven't really had any major work done to my vehicle and yet he's never once made me feel like I was wasting his time or bothering him with calling about different questions concerning an insurance claim I was working on at that time which was challenging because Geico was giving me a hard time about covering water intrusion that messesd up some of the electrical stuff in the car. Tom made the best recommendations that he could possibly make to help me with my claim and walk me along the process since it was my first time dealing with a vehicle insurance claim which was beyond his job and my expectations. I would definitely recommend this shop. Thank you Tom!

Tom was great walking me through the inspection of a vehicle I wanted to purchase. He explained to me what were the usual issues and how the vehicle compared to them. Mostly over the phone, as the car and I were not in the same location! Very clear and always helpful.

Thomas did a great job with the labor work for my Cadillac Escalade. He replaced the brakes and the struts. It made it convenient for me that I ordered and brought my own parts. He took the time to show me the bad parts and the work was done quickly. I would recommend this shop if you are in the local area

Tom is both an excellant mechanic and business man, I have had very compilcated jobs as well as small ones.All have been well , Tom has went beyond what I expected to resolve issues with my two cars. Comparing him to others at the begining Now He does all my work. In this world its a rare thing to find an honest and fair prices and then to back up his work, Never is there a question with Tom. I do with a whole heart recommend Tom ,

Tom did a full synthetic oil change and annual inspection on my vehicle. This is my second vehicle that has had the BG Oil change. I highly recommend it since you get better gas mileage and engine performance. You can't go wrong with this service.BobService: Oil change

Tom is the best. He knows cars and shoots straight. Takes care of his customers like family. If he can't fix it, he will send you to the right place or take it there himself. He will get the work done while you are at work in dc; by offering to pick up and drop off your car at the train station.

This is our last auto service with CARS as we're moving across country. It will be very tough to find another Tom, another CARS... an auto shop who takes care of his customers as if they were family. Thank you Tom for your honesty, loyalty, and dedication to your customers.

Tom is a great mechanic who is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Most people won't like his schedule but if you want a reliable mechanic I don't think you could do any better.

Last inspection at 3 PM although open until 4. Not very friendly mechanic either. I'd look elsewhere

Deshonest : The owner does not give me an estimate in writing. We agreed with x amount of dollars for repair , when repair was compled he asked me for more money , he said i didnt say that . He said he has the video , i told him , lets play it . He didn't. By Virginia state law he suppose to give me a proposal in writting before starting any work.He Wasited my time: He orderd wrong part 2times. After third time he get the right part.This was my first and last time in this shop .I will contact better buiseness bureau .

First time everything was done perfectly! Genuinely there to help you with your car rather than screw you over for more money. Hard to find that these days. 10/10 would recommend!

This is one of cleanest auto repair shops i have ever dealt with and the service itself is very good. The owner is honest and explains problems with your vehicle. Price is very good.i would recommend this shop to anyone!!

Best Mechanic in the area! Honest, does great work and doesn t overcharge people! Highly recommend this place and Tom the owner is wonderful.
