Very affordable shop near my house. Jonathan gave me a estimate for my trucks front breaks and even gave me a ride home and picked me up 1 hour later after they finished working on my front breaks. I am definitely going to recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Watch out for these people. They are scamming customers. I went in to align my car, as soon as the service was done the guy at the desk started to make some excuses that it is hard to align or test the results when the roads are wet. I honestly think they actually didn't do anything to my car and charged me $120.I will never be coming back to that place for sure.

I will be coming back here with my other cars all because of Jonathan. I called at noon on a Saturday because I was in over my head with a Complicated brake job that involved broken wheel studs and impossibly stuck rotors screws (yes, rotor screws that were breaking off my Philips head bits with the impact driver). Jonathan said bring it in, I got you. And he did. Three hours later he called that the job was done (all four brakes, two new studs). His customer service was some of the best I ve ever received at a shop and the price was super reasonable. As long as he s at Precision, my cars will be as well.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Short version: Incompetent and/or shady. Outright refused to fix their mistakes. Strongly recommend avoiding all Precision Tune locations.Regarding the posted response: I already called that number, during business hours, and no one answered. The voicemail I left was forwarded to the shop in question. You are obviously not "happy to speak with" anyone on that line and I'm not reaching out just to get let down again.Long version: I have trusted Precision Tune for maintenance and repairs for several years. The locations in Jacksonville, NC and Wilmington, NC are run by decent people. This location is not, and after the experience I've had I would recommend avoiding all locations run by this shady chain.I had cooling system issues while away from home and took my car to this location to have a coolant leak diagnosed and repaired. They found a leak coming from the radiator and repaired that, but failed to see another leak coming from a hose. In the process of fixing the radiator, they damaged my condenser. I drove six hours back up here to get the condenser fixed, and a day or two after returning home found that they had not actually fixed it and my refigerant had all leaked out again.I went back and forth with both the shop in question and my local Precision Tune. It was exhausting. Justin always sounds like he's coming up with a lie or some way of avoiding responsibility. The mechanic at my local shop verified the condenser damage was caused by the incompetent mechanic(s) at this location, and Justin called them (instead of me) to report that his shop would decline to cover the cost of the repairs. The folks at my local shop agreed that it seemed unfair and disrespectful, but all they could do was shrug their shoulders.This entire experience has left me in a challenging financial situation. I have already spent almost $2000 on attempted repairs, and now I face an additional expense of $1300 to rectify the ongoing coolant leak and fix the air conditioning system properly. It is disheartening that Precision Tune has chosen not to take responsibility for their mistakes. My intention in sharing this review is to inform others about my experience and urge caution when considering Precision Tune for automotive repairs.

I've gone to them for years. Jonathan and Justin are genuinely friendly, and there is no shop easier or more trustworthy to do business with! They explain things carefully, are generous with advice, and keep my costs as low as possible. Some shops make up stuff when they don't know or sell you repairs you don't need or charge you too much. Precision Tune never, ever does any of that. The personnel was incredibly helpful and personable. I went in for a quick oil change and they were quick and I had a quality experience. I will definitely be returning. I have had poor experience with being taken advantage of at other auto shops, and I did not feel this way at all here.

I had a fantastic experience at Precision Tune Auto Care. Called them to check the price of a repair I was fully ready to have done at the place that had diagnosed the issue. The price Precision quoted me for the same repair was so much better (3rd quote I'd gotten) and they were able to fit me in that day. I thoroughly appreciate all the time Jonathon took to explain things, his courtesy, and his help. Everyone at the shop was great. As a single woman it was nice to be able to trust these guys to do a great job.

Had my car towed there for repair which my warranty covered but when I picked it up it was sitting in a puddle of antifreeze and wouldn't start. The initial repair was no where near the damage and there was no problem before the repair. I didn't have hundreds of dollars to fix the new problem. I was told to take it off the lot.

First time customer and I received great care and concern about all the things that were going on with my 2012 Cadillac, not just the obvious. Both Jonathon and Justin were a great tag team and both were aware of the progress and status of my repairs each time I called. They were thorough about pricing, recommended repairs and the bottom line due upon completion. I was impressed and have decided to make them my "go to " mechanics. Very helpful staff, and didn't wait too long for an appointment. The tires delivered to them from the 3rd party I ordered from were damaged (twice), and the staff were very helpful in providing me advice on the poor quality of the tires and assisting me in returning them to the 3rd party. Precision Tune Auto Care then found the same tires from one of their providers for only a few dollars more expensive than the 3rd party I had ordered them from (I ordered them because they were the cheapest I could get), and had them delivered to the store very quickly. When we identified they weren't exactly what I was after (vintage car - need a specific visual appeal), they were happy to negotiate a return and exchange for the tires I wanted.I needed to go away for a while, and the shop was happy to store my tires for 3 weeks until I returned, at no extra charge. Furthermore, the mechanic adjusted my carburetor (although it was not something I had booked in) and provided valuable advice on the condition of some other components of my car which needed immediate attention.Overall very happy with the service and the staff.

Precision Tune Auto Care of Manassas Park, VA provides outstanding service. Jonathan is excellent service advisor, very knowledgeable, honest, and efficient. He goes beyond what is expected to serve customers. I had brake and transmission fluid exchanges, and an A/C service yesterday. My cabin air is now much cleaner and cooler, and the transmission and brakes are smooth. Thank you for a great experience!Service: Air conditioning

I had an alignment done this morning. The staff was very friendly. They had my car in the garage within 10 minutes of arrival and had my alignment done in around 30 minutes! They also have AWESOME coupons on their website with prices that can't be beat! I will be using them for more routine car maintenance.

Very pleased with the service provided. Used a Groupon to get rear brakes replaced. First found out they were ceramic but was only going to be charged a slight increase. However once car was brought into the garage found out that the rotors had to be replaced (yes, they were worn and cracked after personal inspection). Instead of making us pay full price they honored the Groupon and gave us an additional discount off the full rotor replacement price.Would highly recommend Precision Tune Auto Care in Manassas to my friends and family.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

This was my second trip as I buy my tires on-line and have them shipped to PT, my first experience 4 years ago was fantastic barring the fact that they couldn t do the alignment as I have Adaptive Cruise Control and I had to go to the Dealer. This trip was completely different, they were packed and overbooked. John (he seemed to be temporally at this store) was doing his best to keep up but to no avail. I needed the tires mounted, balanced and a VA Inspections/Emissions. I was told they COULD do the alignment this time. After several hours I was told my outer tie rod was worn and wouldn t pass inspection, I guess this can happen as my car has 57,000 miles on it so I told then go ahead and replace it. They did and I was told my steering wheel would be off since they started the alignment and the machine stopped working. No biggie as I was planning on them not being able to do it anyway.The absolute WORST Part of this experience was the Grease EVERYWHERE on my Beige Leather Interior, Floor mats, both sill plates, headliner on both sides, glove box, sun shades, sunglasses holder, A-pillars. It was like they were intentionally trying to mess up my car. I am meticulous and my car is always spotless inside and out. I was told to have it detailed and they would reimburse me, nice but it doesn t make up for the extra time and effort. I will never use them again.

Beware of this place. Had I read the reviews, it could have saved me almost a 100$ for a diagnostic test.My husband was told I needed a new engine and began to look and price one out for my car. My husband was also told by the tech that they called a dealership (for my car brand) and was informed I wasn t under warranty for engine problems.After hearing this, I got my car towed to the actual dealership where the issue was the knock sensor harness wiring-and covered under warranty.Save your money and just go to the appropriate dealership.

If I was to give this place a rating based on my first 3 visits it would have been 5 stars. Great service, reasonable price, and done correctly. Unfortunately, I had to bring my car back after the 4th service because they failed to tighten the axel nut and the wheel almost came off. If that was not enough, I was changed $400 to "repair" some of the damage because of the mistake. Not happy, but ok. When I retrieved my car, there were 5 dash lights on and the power steering was not longer functioning. They told me that they will not work on the vehicle anymore.Too bad. This was a great little shop, so I thought. Not sure I would trust them to change a battery at this point.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great staff and very reasonable prices.I had a appointment to get four new tires mounted and balanced, plus a four wheel alignment. I was in and out in less time than I had thought it would be. I have worked in shops myself and I could tell this staff really works together to get the job done.

Quick and thorough as well as reasonable prices. I nor my wife have never been price gouged at a Precision Tune with either of our vehicles. They are popular, and therefor usually crowded for such a small lot, but that's a good sign of a reliable business. Between this and another Precision Tune location, we've gone through three sets of tires between three cars over 6 years, routine maintenance and inspections, as well as 100,000 mile work on my Truck. Service was always done right the first time and they've always showed me problem areas before making the decision to have additional work done.

AMAZING customer service (very friendly staff, accommodating, flexible) and quality work!! I got a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change with free wiper blade replacement (for $50!!) and sent a request online for an appointment and they actually CALLED me and left a voicemail saying the time I wanted was walk in hours and was a first come first serve basis so to come in any time that day. They took my car back almost immediately for the oil change. As I was waiting, I asked if they could look at my brakes since I had been experiencing some issues (steering wheel rumbling while breaking) and without hesitation said yes and went back to let the mechanic know. They did a VERY thorough check (of all components of my car) and explained to me everything they noticed in detail and answered all of my questions (since I'm not very knowledgable on cars) and explained it in a way to help me understand. They were very honest about the urgency of these issues and rated them to most concerning to stuff that could wait and about the time frame I had until it could really start causing issues. Gave me a pretty accurate quote right away (parts and labor) and was honest that the price of some pieces could be more or less then predicted. I drove away to think about the finances and after an hour turned around to say I would like to fix all the issues they pointed out. They had an amazing Black Friday deal that definitely helped. I went back expecting to need to schedule a time but they took my car in THAT DAY and did ALL the repairs. The assistant manager (Justin) called around looking for the dealership part I needed and made sure I could have everything done that day and also at a price that was helpful to me. The mechanics and him stayed almost 2 hours past closing to finish up my car to replace all four rotors and brake pads, both control arms, and replace my battery and clean up the acid it had leaked and placed a sealant to help prevent further damage (which I kept changing my mind what I wanted to fix that day vs. wait for later and they stayed flexible when I asked if they could add back on the battery replacement). ALL IN ONE DAY AS A WALK IN. They helped me financially and made sure it was affordable, they helped with convenience and took this huge project on as a walk in (which was just an oil change at first) and stayed friendly and positive the ENTIRE time! My car has never driven smoother and I about cried the first time I used my brakes after they repaired it because it has never driven better. Justin gave me his business card at the end of it all and said please bring it back if anything occurs and he will make it right. Amazing place!! I will always bring my car here. I am forever grateful for Precision Tune Auto Care, Justin, and his crew!

Went in for an oil change a while back. My car was shaking a few days after the oil change and an alert came on my car saying it was only running on half power. Weird?I had it looked at by another mechanic. I told the new mechanic that I just had an oil change so that could not be the issue. After spending $600+ on trying to fix the shaking, the new mechanic finally said even though I just got an oil change, he was going to change my oil and filter again as a last resort. After the new oil change, the mechanic sent me pictures of what precision auto care did. They left out the insert in the oil filter! My car was losing all oil pressure due to the missing insert.I went back to precision auto care to see if I could get a refund, or maybe even some help towards the $600+ I spent trying to fix what they did. Precision Auto told me their "best" mechanic did my oil change and they doubt he would have forgotten the filter insert. They offered me a free oil change. You think for a second I would bring my car back in for another oil change from them??? No refund, no help towards the wasted money I spent trying to fix what they did; just a free oil change. The guy gave me their corporate number. I called and left a voicemail expressing my concern. They called me back right away which was nice, and told me they received my complaint and that they would call me back in a few days to go over what happened. They never called me back.I guess that's what I get for trying to save a buck choosing to go to this place. Lesson learned. Never again.

I had a great expirenence here Johnathan the technician behind the desk was very helpful and professional. I was in a bind and they had my car in and out in a hour replacing 2 tires rotating the old ones and replacing 5 lug bolts. They also fixed my alignment and my cars driving 100 times better! Fully recommend these guys to do your work!

you better save your money!!! i did oil change and changed tires yesterday and was told that my car needs alignment but was little expensive and searched for a better deal. through groupon i came to this place and charged me 21 bucks for no reason(all they do is search for a reason and you either spend hundreds in their shop for no reason or charge you what they call suspension evaluation). yesterday was told it is doable. never ever come here.just adding that adding that alignment was done yesterday at just tires...GROUPON and their partners are professional scammers.. stay away from themService: Wheel alignment

We had a good experience here overall. They clarified recommendations from two other shops and offered better prices. The final total was greater than the estimate (a decent price but not the screaming good deal promised), but I did not realize this until after I'd paid. Yes estimates can change, but the particular part in question had been discussed at length as we were considering buying one ourselves, so I think we were owed at least a phone call. In the end, we were refunded the discrepancy. I can definitely recommend this shop; the work they did seems good. Just learn from my mistake and pay attention to the details. By the way, this place has new management from who was there a couple years ago and we definitely prefer the new people!

Let me preface this by saying THESE PEOPLE WILL DO WHATEVER THEY CAN TO SWINDLE YOU TO MAKE MORE MONEY. AVOID AT ALL COST.Went to these guys because I had a coupon, didn't want to drive all the way to my old place as I just moved.First time around they didn't pass me for inspection because of my marker lights and the rear door light, followed by two tires that were bare.The guy on the phone obviously wanted me to pay them to replace everything so they could make a quick buck, so much in fact that the guy on the phone LIED and said that I cannot take a car out on a rejected sticker, or I'd risk getting pulled over and ticketed(which is not true as long as it is fixed within 15 days)Fast forward to today, where I had replaced each light and changed out the two new tires, and I get a call peppering me with questions about my lights and tires. I answered everything honestly, and he told me that a break light was out, something that had previously been cleared. I honestly was so fed up with this terrible service that I agreed to do a 20 light bulb change to my break light.BIG MISTAKE, when I arrived they told me that the bulb was just "unplugged" and that they were still going to charge me for labor. 20$ for them to plug in something that I'm convinced was plugged in in the first place.If you see a discount or coupon for these guys, there's a reason. It's because they will do whatever they can to bring you into getting an inspection and will than find whatever way they can to make up for the price. Once again, AVOID AT ALL COSTAnd regarding the comment below, you're store manager is trying to save his own skin, he told me "Nah man, you can't take that thing out with a rejection sticker.". In terms of the giving approval of the brake light repair, I knew something was sketchy because that wasn't even an issue the first time I got inspected. But I know you all wanted to make some more money off me, and I was too tired to keep coming back to you guys. So no, I'm not going to contact you on your email, I'd rather just accept my loss, go somewhere else, and tell every person I know due for an inspection to avoid you and your "store manager", because this location is only concerned with milking every customer for everything they got.

Jason was fantastic...he multitasked while servicing my vehicle. Had a Groupon for an front brake pad job. Explained everything & got me out of there in short time on a SATURDAY! Quick Very Competitively priced & felt @ ease with my vehicle being in there care!

***Edit: 4/21/2019Normally I come to Precision Tune Auto Care for all of my oil changes, until now. The man at the counter was very dismissive of me and tried to upsell me on a higher grade of oil when I knew what my manufacturer told me to use. I had to prove to him what oil change I needed by pulling up the manufacturer's website. He acted oblivious. When I returned to pick up my vehicle after the oil change, the windows were wide open while it was raining outside. The inside of my car was soaked with rain water. I will definitely not be returning to Precision Tune Auto Care after this disrespectful service. ***The mechanics at Precision Tune Auto Care are completely trustworthy and honest up front. My mechanic even showed me exactly what was causing the noise on my car. Their prices are fair and cheaper than my old garage AND you recieve the BEST customer service here. I am so grateful to have found an auto care garage that I can trust. Thank you all so much!!

I purchased a Groupon deal for $35.99 less than six months ago after getting my tires replaced at Costco. Less than six months in, I blew one of my tires (not from hitting anything as one Precision worker assumed but puncturing a big nail while driving in a construction area), I went back to Costco and upon checking, they told me the car doesn't seem to have an alignment since the tires were replaced.I called this location, and I was told that their groupon deals don't come with any work guarantee whereas if you spent $80, the price without the groupon deal, work is guaranteed for 6000 miles.To add insult to injury, it turns out they didn't even redeem the groupon deal, so I'm not able to write about my experience into their groupon reviews.Unethical and I don't think they did any alignment!EDIT:After reading a little more about alignment, I gotta say I didn't know that steering-wheel shaking is a symptom of a bad alignment job which validates Costco's theory that an alignment was not done to begin with. Whenever I sped up to 60mph, my wheel shook and now less than 6 months since "the job," I'm learning they don't guarantee the work because it was a groupon deal.Not precise!
