Loved this place since last year. Made a reservation to stay for 4 nights for kids spring break/Easter many many months ago and we get here and we're in a site right next to the maintenance warehouse thing. Heavy equipment operation, log splitting, all starting at 8 am literally right outside our door. Management refused to move us. Said we had a great site this is where they house the people that live and work here. I'm highly disappointed. Every campsite we've ever stayed at has the maintenance way separate from any sites.

We have had the immense pleasure of staying twice in this past year, 3 months each time. This park is beautiful, well located, clean, and growing. They pull no stops for community events, dinners, kid crafts, wine tastings. The manager Jamie is fantastic, and is fair minded, genuinely friendly, and works hard to ensure any concerns or problems are resolved. Jason and Connie are the outside duo keeping the grounds beautifully maintained and growing for everyone to enjoy as the season moves forward. This campground was our home for most of this past year and we hope to come back and see the same wonderful staff when we do. Then we're going to Yoder's for Donut Kitchen doughnuts and then feed the animals.

Upon arrival at Madison Vines RV Resort and Cottages, we entered through the gate (gate code provide to enter at check in) and stopped at the office to receive our packet. A very helpful and cordial young lady assisted us and went above and beyond by providing additional area information and suggestions. We proceeded to our site, 305, which was a deluxe back in full hookup 50 amp spot with a picnic table, a fire ring, and a side area for parking. The railroad ties made the move into the site slightly difficult, but we got in and the 35 ft travel trailer fit nicely. Types of sites offered are cottages (studio 1-bunk and 2-bunk), deluxe cottages (1-bedroom and 2-bedroom), standard back in RV, premium back in RV, and premium pull thru RV. The park is quiet and has a lot of amenities including an office store, a seasonal swimming pool with a pool bathhouse, a spa, a playground, a game tent, an event center, a basketball court, a sand volleyball area, a badminton court, two bocci ball courts, a complex with an ice cream parlor/billiard room/fitness center, two dog parks, dog waste bags, two bathroom/shower facilities, a laundry facility with four washers at $1.50 for a 30 minute cycle and four dryers at $1.50 for a 45 minutes cycle, two pickleball courts, a horseshoe pit, and free wifi.

This place is awsome! We stayed at Madison vines for several months while on a work assignment in Charlottesville. I cant say enough about this place. The staff is great! Talk about scenic, the property is stunning and very well maintained and open year round. Nice roomy level sites. There's a ton of amenities here. Their shower houses are nice and clean, 2 laundry rooms. Pool/jacuzzi, Rec room with games, pickle ball courts, dog park, pizza/ice cream parlor. We loved the fishing pond! They also have a well stocked general store for all the necessities. The planned wknd activities were lots of fun. They have pancake breakfasts and steak dinners, bingo nights, murder mystery dinners, wine tours etc. We really enjoyed our stay here, We were sad to leave.

We recently camped at Madison Vines Resort. This was one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. They had so much to offer - activities that included meals, music, and entertainment. The grounds were very clean and the bathrooms were the nicest we have ever seen in a campground by far! The manager, Jamie, and her staff worked so hard making sure every camper has their needs addressed and goes out of their way to make sure you are a satisfied customer. We will definitely go back!!

Camping here for a week off season. Sites are clean and close to level. I needed one 2x6 under one side to lift up for level. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. The parks grounds are clean and very new. It's a little too open, not a lot of trees or privacy in some areas. The location is good but a little noisy with the main road right there, maybe there would be less road noise with leaves in the trees. The only down for me was that the seasonals that live there year round, some had very loud diesel trucks and left for work early in the AM. We had the end site so they drove by us most weekday mornings. My son said he wished they had a ballfield for wiffle ball or kickball.Wanted to add to this now that our stay is over. Friday night bingo and food was excellent. Great price and included bingo and dinner. Same for Saturdays dinner. Great price and food was all homemade we were told. The new Year's Eve party was fantastic, dinner and games all for one price. They also had a separate pizza party and games for kids run by the staff. My son said he had fun and had plenty of food.Overall a fun week away from home. I would definitely consider going back another time.

Awesome campground. We stayed here on our return trip from our first travel camping excursion, and we were so happy we did. We only booked a few days, but wish we had stayed longer. The sites are roomy and nicely spaced, the campground was beautifully maintained, and the pool and hot tub and other amenities were immaculate. I will go so far as to say that their bathrooms were by far the best I ve experienced while camping ever. A sparkling clean, spacious, air conditioned bathhouse was a very welcome surprise after two weeks on the road and much appreciated. Hookups were newer and well located. The site was nice, dry, and level. Easy setup. Staff and grounds crew were very pleasant, friendly, and informative. One of the nicest campsites we have had the pleasure to stay at. We hope to try some of their other sites during our travels.

Me and my family stay at Madison Vines during Thanksgiving and had a great time. The staff was great and the Thanksgiving and Italian event the staff hosted was outstanding. I have stayed at alot of campgrounds and resorts which I own a timeshare, and I would put Madison Vines on top with them. I would definitely return.Brian Albright

We pulled into Madison Vines about 90 minutes ago. There are many campers here - it's a very busy campground. It's new, clean and well kept. It appears that they pull out all the stops on the weekends, and, being that it's Thursday, there are many here already for a big Halloween weekend. However, we are here for only the night, and there are still open spots around. We hooked up, and plugged in our cable wire. No service. I am very tired of parks advertising cable, and not having service. We called, and were told the cable serviceman was here earlier - and NONE of the sites in our part of the park have service. The man is returning tomorrow - after we leave. My question is, why not put us in a different site in the park - since we're here for only 1 night? Or, why not call us today and ask if we are cable users? It would have made the expectation easier. And, although I know that "camping" often means "unplugging" - with the world the way it is right now, and our family in different places - we have to be plugged in. I just wish they would have been more forthcoming.Walkability: It's a hilly campground - as are many. If you have walking issues, you may need a golf cart or a vehicle.

AMAZING! I can't say that enough. We had an absolutely amazing time at Madison Vines this past weekend. Why was it amazing - you ask? Well, let me tell you....Our family of 4 signed up and paid for a $15(ea) winery tour, 4 course meal and wine pairings with Madison Vines. I told my wife not to expect much because how in the world can anyone do a $15 experience and it be worth our time. *****HOLY COW - was I so wrong.Madison Vines chartered a tour bus to get back and forth - which was about a 30 minute ride one way. They arranged a tour (with a glass of wine) with the owner of the winery. The owner was very personable, knowledgeable and it was great to have such a nice interaction with him. He has such a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun.Once the tour was over we headed inside past the tasting area into a reserved space where there were tables with cloth tablecloths and napkins with real plates and silverware. We started off with a shrimp cocktail (with paring), salad and charcuterie (with pairing). Then the main course was smoked ribs, green bean casserole and scallop potatoes (with pairing). Then topped it all off with a chocolate cake (with pairing). EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!Oh and live music too!Philip (owner of Madison Vines) came around and made sure everyone had full glasses of wine through the whole event. He stopped in and chatted the tables up and was extremely nice. He made a very nice speech to all of us. Top notch for sure.I would be remiss if I didn't shout out Jaime and her team. In our tables' opinion, Jaime was the STAR of the show. She was in charge of all the logistics. She busted tables, served on the food line, kept the whole event on time, kept head counts of all the guests, carried on conversations and maintained an upbeat personality throughout the entire event. I'm sure it was pretty taxing trying to keep up with 40 people plus staff but Jaime did an amazing job while not letting it show.Putting this event to the side for a second, if you haven't visited Madison Vines lately, please do yourself and your family a favor and go for a visit. All the staff were extremely nice and professional, well spoken and genuinely seem to care about your overall camping experience at Madison Vines.

A near perfect experience! Labor Day weekend getaway with 5 families. Wasn't expecting all they had to offer! Immaculate, affordable, and comfortable cabins. Pool party with events on Saturday, live music at night. Kind and attentive staff. Affordable food options on site. Manicured grounds. We were already planning our next trip before we even left. Cannot wait to return!

Our family stayed in one of the cabins in June and we loved it! The staff was super helpful and friendly. The cabin was nice and roomy. We had a lot of fun. At the time, they were still working on upgrading and adding things likes pizza and ice cream shop and hopefully the next time we visit those will be finished. They had a complimentary pancake breakfast on Sunday morning that was pretty great. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

The new owners have done a fantastic job remodeling the park. It is clean, beautiful, and prior to my leaving had many more improvements on the way. They have a pool, a club house that offers weekly events, their front office contains a small store, a pizza and ice cream restaurant, laundry facilities, and a gym. The front office staff and maintenance were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The only issue I had was contacting after hours maintenance one time, they never returned my phone call and the voicemail was full, but the issue ended up getting fixed by me and maintenance was not needed.

We stayed at this campground after our friends had suggested it and loved it so much we came back the following weekend and have already made additional reservations to stay again. The staff was always helpful, carrying on friendly conversation and always eager to help. The activities were fun and every aspect of this place is budget friendly. The owner was there with his sleeves rolled up helping at all the events we attended and spoke after dinner on Saturday, he obviously takes a lot of pride in this campground. We can t wait to go again! It is a shame you guys can t remove some of the older comments before it s as taken over!

Booked our stay 9 months in advance and paid extra for a wooded lot and had to book for 3 nights due to the holiday weekend. Once we arrived they guided us to our spot (526) where we were out in the open, on a half corner spot. Our spot was literally half of everyone else s, we had no privacy or shade. Worst of all at night there was a huge parking lot spot light directed right on our spot. You couldn t even have a fire for two reasons, the bright, massive spot light and the half lot. No lie, in the morning another camper walked by and said, I had that spot last time and it was horrible. Massive light and no room. With that being said the rest of the campground was nice. They gave us a little money back for not giving us the area we paid extra for. Pool and activities were nice. Not sure if I ll be coming back.

Madison Vines didn't disappoint, the grounds and facilities were clean and layed out nicely. There were plenty of bathrooms spread throughout the campground. They had a activities for adults and children. Also offered was a well priced BBQ dinner with plenty of sides. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great visit and well done on running this campground!

I love this place. Staff is awesome and the owner is great. We are long-term and absolutely loving it . Best move coming here. I can't wait until the pool opens.Rooms: The rooms are great. Nice, clean and the beds are so comfortable Food & drinks: The food is always amazing!!! Every dinner or breakfast we have gone to has been great. Better than a lot of the expensive restaurants that we have been to. 5 stars on the food for sure.
