No greeting of the day from customer service agent when approaching the counter. I was just stared at, as if I were an anomaly.DMV service person was combative and proceeded to grill me on my title asking me if I filled out the sales price which I informed her I did not, as the seller did. In addition she also proceeded to grill me on what was in the DMV system previously from the past owner, (when I don t work for the DMV and she should know the system herself and what the codes mean) also,I had just bought the car, the day prior in the weekend and had no further knowledge about the car except for my driving experience and the title that I was given.Customer service should be pleasant and consistent and not like a police interrogation. The transaction also took very long as she proceeded to make multiple mistakes and failed to print my registration. While I was waiting for this to be resolved, she and her coworker proceeded to talk about their lunch orders which made the experience much longer.In addition once the transaction ended I was not told have a good day, but told to make sure to put the clipboard back. No one seemed to care and I usually have a good experience here as the ladies are efficient but this one service member made it seem like it was a crime to register a vehicle.

I show up at DMV about every three years so I m no expert. Very friendly and helpful, walked me through the process and out in less than ten minutes. Thank you.

Once I got to the counter they were awesome. The only problem was that I had an appointment at 1:00 and didn't get called until 1:30. There was only one person working the window until 1:30. It made me late for an appointment.

Very easy in and out. They didn't ask any more questions than needed and got us tagged during covid easier than before covid and told us what we needed to do in future months to come due to our circumstances. Very nice staff

Madison DMV select is amazing! Made an appointment 5 days out, got there 10 minutes early and they let me come in, title/registration and personalized plates were all done within 10 minutes! The staff was amazing! Thank you!!

Largest line I have ever seen of 6 people, still out in around 30 minutes with only one of two tellers. This DMV gives me hope for government ran offices.

Forget everything you've heard about the DMV The gentleman that helped me was friendly and went out of his way to help correct a mistake that I had made. Really easy to book an appointment online was able to get one the next day. Although I had to drive an hour to get there that's not their fault because my local DMV center had no appointments available. Plus their covid precautions are on point

This is By far the best Dmv select I have ever visited. I love their new appointment system during Covid. The DMV agent was extremely helpful, polite and took care of the transactions fast. I look forward to my next visit in the near future.

The Madison, Virginia DMV Select is the BEST KEPT SECRET in central Virginia. If you need titling done, plates, driver license, any thing of this nature, it is amazing! Bought a motorcycle while in Florida and brought up to Va to get titled. Was in at 8:30 am on a FRIDAY and out by 8:45. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and best of all QUICK! Seriously recommend this place to any one who needs a quick DMV trip done.

Friendliest and the least stressful DMV I've ever been to. The staff are patient and clear in explaining what you need to fill out. Plus, Madison is a charming small town.

First time visiting location, but everyone was friendly and diligent on expediting assistance. The best location for specific tasks! There needs to be more satellite offices like this!!

I like how much faster this DMV select is. Other DMVs have awful wait times. Although I came in today and I waited in line, it was busy today. When it was my turn I went to renew my registration and the lady told me I couldn t renew because the car was only in my husband name, ok I said no problem my husband is just right outside with the baby sleeping in the car I will go get him.. she wouldn t allow me to she said I would have to get in the back of the line. I begged her it would take me a minute just to please let me go get him and she just ignored me and passed the next person in line. I wanted to cry because there was a line and they were about to close. I know the lady was doing her job but I felt soo sad, she saw the huge line I had to wait in and the other line my husband would have to wait in. We decided to leave because my husband saw how upset I was. Going to DMV is not a 5 minute trip from us, but we will have to try again

This is a great alternative to the long wait and government slowdowns most often experienced at the charlottesville location but what they are allowed to do is severely limited.

Friendly staff and usually short wait time. It is a DMV Select; so they are only capable of certain DMV transactions such as most things dealing with your vehicle. However, they cannot handle anything involving licences. Check website for more information.
