Marty, thank you so much for getting my transmission fixed in less then 10days. Marty got me on the road asap. He brought my van back so I wouldn t have to find a ride to pick it up, he delivered it himself. Just an amazing man. Thank you so much Marty. I found Transmission Man online and after reading the reviews I asked for a quote. Marty was quick to respond. He provided me with a very reasonable quote and was able to take the car in that day. Quick efficient and highly knowledgeable. Marty had my daughters car back on the road and better than it ever was. To say my daughter was thrilled is the understatement of the year.Highly recommend Transmission Man. Best hours, best price and service hands down. I was in need of a rebuild and after checking several shops in the area which were booked up, I found Marty and he was able to get my truck in his shop the next day. The rebuild was done quicker than expected and he kept me updated throughout the process. It was even $600 cheaper than what was quoted at other shops. He s very thorough with his work and even warranties it. Highly recommend him!Service: Transmission

After shopping around and calling a handful of Lynchburg transmission shops, most all places quoted for a new transmission and some had a shop wait time. When I spoke to Transmission Man, he was curious about what the car was actually doing to better quote and actually rebuild the guts. He sent me photos throughout the process and showed me what he was replacing. I m Happy with service and professionalism. Attention to detail on the break down on invoice. He provided a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty to his shop.

I found the Transmission Man online....read reviews...and made an appointment to bring in my Mail Jeep. I had a leak of fluid...Marty was honest and told me nothing wrong with Transmission...just need to replace seal and fix leak. Courteous helpful and very quick service!!!! Price was more than fair. Great job Marty. Thank you very much!

I found Marty (The Transmission Man) about a year ago when the transmission on my 2004 F-150 truck went out. He charged much less than I was quoted at other mechanical shops and did a great job! Since that time he has done mechanical repairs on our 2008 Infiniti QX56 and 2000 Jeep Wrangler...all well below what we were quoted by other shops and typically completed within a day. I would recommend Marty with great confidence for any automotive needs.

I told Tony my symptoms. I took my SUV to him. He said it was my transfer case and it was going to cost me 1000.00 to get it rebuilt. He was going to take 500. Down and 500 when the job was done. My son recommended me getting another opinion. When I took it to Layman's transmissions he said there isn't anything wrong with your transmission. I lost a bolt on my brake pads and it was loose and locking up my front drivers tire. I had a new bolt put on. Problem solved and it didn't cost me anything. Wow a lot cheaper than a 1000.

My transmission went out on my dodge. He quoted me cheaper than anyone around, he got me in and out ahead of schedule. Even fixed a couple extra things with no additional charge to the quote!
