I recently had the pleasure of visiting Zoom Automotive, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Right from the moment I called to schedule an appointment, they were incredibly accommodating and got me in the same day, unlike other local shops that had long waiting times.One of the standout aspects of Zoom Automotive is the owner. Not only is he friendly and personable, but his knowledge and expertise in the automotive industry are truly impressive. He took the time to listen to my concerns and provided me with clear explanations of the issues my vehicle was facing. Jeremiah and the guys at zoom helped me out exponentially by fixing the ECM which is the computer that runs the car. They did this at a quick pace, when nobody else in town or the surrounding areas would help me. I have been scammed four times by other companies, and the guys at zoomed in me right, treated me with respect, gave me a fair price, and fixed the car by bringing it back from the dead. These guys are saints and geniuses. They should be praised and honored cuz money just doesn't seem good enough. I wish them nothing but success in the future. Thanks again Jeremiah. Jeremiah Gilpin owns this company. I called him on a Thursday afternoon and an hour later he was in my driveway diagnosing my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport, which would not crank. In a matter of minutes he verified the problem. A quick trip to AutoZone for the new part (a starter) and I fixed the problem myself. If I had taken this to a shop I likely would have waited for days and surely paid a lot more. His online work scheduler was easy to use and he was VERY responsive even though he was trying to get ready for the July 4th weekend holiday. Five Stars!Service: Electrical

Excellent service! I wish I would have came to Jeremiah before trying out the dealership.. I had a stabilitrak/TCM issue on my 15 Impala and more reacently power steering went out.Twice he has been a life line for my car! I needed someone to give an indepth dianosis to find a solution. The dealership made me replace my whole TCM which was very pricey and it presented the same issue 6 months later! However, Jeremiah found the root cause which came out to be way more affordable solution. Same with my power steering. He went in and found out the software needed to be updated. saved me alot of money and stress! Anyone elsecould have said just replace my who rack and pinion but Jeremiah puts in honest work!He really goes the extra mile to figure things out and keeps an open line of communication with his customers. He's a very personable friendly guy. Honesty, effort, and effectiveness! And both occasions were quick turn arounds. I pray God blesses and increases your business however He sees fit!

Amazing service! Called them in the evening as my cars brakes were shot and I commute 3 hours round trip to work so I was freaking out and needed help asap. They came out within 2 hours and saw my car needed a bit more extensive repair. They stayed till the late evening and they didn't like my brakes were still not 100%. One stayed till past midnight to make sure I had a working car. I've never dealt with such compassionate service. Will use them again for sure. I recommend them to anybody! Fair prices as well and they never blindside you with costs. Upfront with the cost before servicing your car and they tell you asap if they find additional repairs needing to be done. We recently had an issue with our Subaru. Would crank but not start. Pulled code that indicated the crank position sensor (or wiring) was not working. Was planning to try and fix myself so ordered a new sensor. But after looking at the engine decided it I would not be able to. Also in looking for the location of the sensor I discovered that a mouse or squirrel had chewed a few wires. That was not good. I didn't want to have the car towed to a garage so called Zoom Automotive. My daughter had Zoom work on her car previously and knew Jeremiah from high school. He came over the next day and jumped on fixing ours. After repairing the wiring the car still wouldn't start. He hooked up all kinds of diagnostic equipment and traced it to another wire that was bad but wasn't visible. He replaced that wire and the car is fixed and starts. Excellent job. Best In the area when I first met this guy he would actually come to me wherever I was broke down and I greatly appreciate him he has always got my vehicle straight he does not cut any corners he takes pride in what he does and he is very efficient I recommend him highly he will not disappoint you!!! Brought our aged Sprinter van to Zoom (Jeremiah) several months ago with ABS lights always on. Had brought earlier to a shop in C'ville and their fix was very temporary. Left the van with him while he figured out how to get it permanently fixed. It turned out to be a bad ABS module and he managed to get it replaced and reprogrammed. Took awhile for it all to happen but it was worth the wait to get our van back to where it should be. Been driving it several months now and it truly looks like the repair has been done right (and permanent). Zoom got our problem solved!

Was needing new coil, cap, wires and plugs on a Chrysler minivan. He came to my home did a great job for fair price. Can t ask for my. I started having trouble with my car a few days prior to calling Zoom Automotive, but being a rookie with car mechanics I had no clue what could be wrong with it other than the small things Google told me. So I called up Zoom and they were able to come by my house within just a few days and run some tests on my car. They were very friendly and professional about the whole thing and wasted no time figuring out what was going on. Turned out that my Evap system was busted so they replaced it for me. Their prices are fair, theyre quick to get the job done as soon as they are able, and they were very pleasant to talk to during the entire process.I highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done, especially if youre new to how cars work.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Zoom was the third mechanic I had been too but I m sad I didn t go to them first they fixed my vehicle within no time explained what was wrong with it and even showed me the problem. He has fair and reasonable prices. He s worth every penny. I highly recommend going to him!! While visiting the area my car developed a check engine light, I was very apprehensive about trusting a local mechanic. I found zoom automotive and from speaking with Jeremiah I could tell he is truly an expert in what he does. Zoom Automotive has gotten me out of SO many binds, with multiple vehicles. Jeremiah has worked so hard to keep my cars up and running and has helped me out when I was stranded so many times! He has dropped everything to rescue me and I couldn t be more appreciative. Came out at night in the cold twice to replace alternator and then wiper bushings....he was on time...friendly....fair price....will use in the future....great job! Jeremiah diagnosed and repaired my Saturn Sky to my complete satisfaction. He had to remove the engine to place it on an engine stand to do the repairs to the oil pan and the manifold. This involved at least 14 hours to r & r the engine. I was completely happy with the work.

I've used Mr. Gilpin a few times for repairs. Very convenient, as you don't have to leave your house. Always does what he says he will, performs quality work, and stands behind his work, if needed. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of going to a garage.
