I had an exceptional experience here thanks to Orion. He was respectful and went above and beyond during my visit. Despite there being a small line of cars for both lanes, he came out personally to change my headlight rather than wait to get into a bay. I will definitely be coming back.

I always take my vehicle to a valvoline, so I expected this one to be decent. Was on travel to Virginia and stopped here only to regret going. The sales man spoke way to fast I could barely understand him when going over product services. He also installed my air cabin filter so wrong that it genuinely annoyed me and I had to pull over to fix it myself. I also thought he would damage my glove box when he was trying to get it back on the hinges after putting in the filter (Jeep) after several attempts.He also made me feel bad when I asked if I could use a coupon after he rang me up as my local valvoline always asks after everything is done if I m using a coupon today so I figured it was the same as he never asked if I had one to use. He proceeded to say oh well you have to tell us at the beginning so now I ll have to redo everything on the computer in a condescending tone. Will never go to this valvoline again, I ll stick to my local location when I have to get an oil change. I ll give you the name of this employee if you decide to reach out.(The filter was supposed to be installed horizontally while he mashed it in vertically)Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I recently had a wonderful experience at Valvoline on Old Forest Road. It started with a routine oil change and having some additional maintenance completed. A problem did develop but the staff worked to resolve the issue with kindness and compassion. I will be back .

I came here for the first time and pulled my car in within 10 minutes. Shauna was a huge help explaining the differences in my two oil options, the cost of each part of the service I was requesting, and gave me tips to help save money in the future. In addition to the oil change, tire rotation, and cabin air filter change, they checked my battery, tire pressure, all lights, etc. So glad I chose to come here!

We were told that once in the bay an oil change takes about 15 minutes. With 2 cars ahead of us we were there a total of 2 hours. Our oil change took 40 minutes. When putting oil in the car the woman lifted up the pump and shot oil all over the engine, wipers and windshield. We were told our engine was full and seconds later two of the workers had a discussion and next thing we know they were adding more oil as apparently it was not full after all. We were told the next oil change would need to be at 7,000 miles when everything I read says it should be 10 -12k. But then the sticker they gave us for the window showed the next change at 3K miles. I had to ask them for a new sticker with the correct mileage. Zero confidence in the info and competency of the workers.Service: Oil change

Definitely my new favorite place for oil changes. They actually take their time to make sure everything was correct and still was a speedy service. Kenny was great he was very knowledgeable about his job and gave me alot of good information. Thanks again I will definitely be returning.

Don t know what these guys did but now my car stalls out when I try to start it and my check engine light is on day after I went here. Oil and air filter change really that hard?

Kate, Cameron, and William were all professional, polite, and engaging. This was my first visit and definitely not the last. Oil change and safety look-over (lights, wipers tires, etc) completed efficiently without annoying attempts to upsell. Provided valuable info regarding existing fluid leaks without trying to sell service (this is a 2003 vehicle so no surprises there). All completed at a reasonable price. Overall very happy, will return and recommend to others.Service: Oil change

This is definitely my oil change location from here on out amazing staff had a flawless service and was surprised at the amount of other services they offer aswell besides oil changes you have a life time customer for sure

Went in on a Saturday (2/11/23) and they were excellent. I dealt with Alec and he explained everything in detail and was simply the best to interact with. The entire staff was great. Had my oil change done there amazing service super friendly and knowledgeable staff they really go out of there way to make sure the guest know exactly what is being done to the vehicle and any existing issues you may not have known you had 10 out of 10

This was my first time going here and Orion and his team were amazing. This is the first time I've actually felt like I didn't pay for services that I did not receive, I went in for a oil change and ended up needing a filter change as well. They showed me everything that they suggested so that I could make the decision on my own on if I wanted to proceed or not. The service here was simply amazing. They were very down to earth and warm hearted. I wish I would have found them sooner. Thank you for providing me with a great and quick experience. I wish you all the best in everything that you do.

Very convenient to not have to get out of your car and the people are always very chill, friendly, and informative. Make sure to look up the coupons before you go !

You pay a premium for the fast service ($100). Prices are comparable to what the dealerships charge.I trust them more than the other quick oil change shops because they are very thorough and follow a checklist especially when it comes to the lights and wipers.I m not sure what they check on tires besides the pressure but my tread was very low on all tires and they didn t catch it- probably because they don t sell tires.

I'll be upfront: I'm not a car guy by any means. The employees here are phenomenal and upfront and didn't talk down to me. I went in for an oil change and ended up with new headlight bulbs and windshield wiper blades, all for a lot less than I'd been quoted elsewhere.I almost never write reviews, but I want to give them a shoutout. Great customer service, although I didn t use their service directly. I just came home from a week vacation so I got my car wash next door and when I was leaving I notice my license plate was hanging off because the air blew the screw off. I went next door thinking they could maybe help but they were closed, until ALEC (dudes a dawg for this) came out and ask if we needed help, I told him the situation and he said oh no problem I ll be right back and came back with a drill and bit with some different screws and fixed my license plate for me after they were closed. I would have tipped him if I had cash Buh I thought a review was next up. Alec alone helping with a missing screw won me over as a new customer

Great experience getting an oil change. Thor and William were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. It was fun to hear the team's call and responses as they worked, and see the person working underneath. Turned an ordinarily boring chore into an interesting and enjoyable time. Thanks!

Guessing good ...had to go back because oil change light came on a week after change. Was worried. They said it wasn't reset properly by them. Well see if it pops up again before their 3000 bench mark.

This is my second oil change with Valvoline. My co- worker told me about this place- and yes i have returned. I like the location, the service, and the convenience. I have not waited over 30 minutes for a stall- and once in - oil change is 25 minutes or under. I like the staff, as they are professional, informative , and fast. The teamwork is nice as they work well together. The price of a traditional oil change is comparable to other places as i paid $54.00. They do honor coupons if you have one. So far so good. Will return.

Valvoline on Old Forest Rd They messed my car up and they are not willing to pay for what they did. A simple oil change lead up to $700 in damages that I need to repair. When I contacted the assistant manager, she showed no sympathy for me at all because she was the one of the 3 people that performed this oil change. She sung and hummed in my ear for the last duration of the phone call. Her demeanor instantly changed when I read the name of the mechanics from my invoice. The boss who is 2 steps higher than the assistant manager was supposed to call me within a couple days and no one has called yet. Valvoline and Mr. Tire (who was the one that performed my last oil change before valvoline) were going back and forth and Mr. Tire actually helped by fixing one of the damages and they showed proof that everything valvoline said was wrong ! I rarely do this because I m not about drama but this is a car that I pay monthly payments for and I can t sit around and let the people that I trusted damage it. Lesson learned ! I am in the process of finding a lawyer and suing them. Ps: I m not slandering just stating my experience with them !Service: Oil change

The visit was nice. When I became disappointed was when I went to change the oil myself. The drain plug bolt was extremely hard to loosen with the 11/16" wrench which I couldn't use because the head of the bolt was stripped. I had to used vice grips and a smaller socket wrench, with a ton of force, to loosen the bolt. Also the oil filter was put on way to tight. Never going back to Valvoline.

These guys are true to their name. No need to schedule a head. They re quick and friendly.They will offer additional services based on your car s mileage and year but they aren t pushy.

The entire team was so on point. i ve done my last 6 oil changes at this location, & it s been great every time. but this time was the best by far. come to find out, they re under new management, Selene is amazing at what they do, taking the time to explain anything & everything i had a question about. Silas also greeted all the cars in line, giving them an est. wait time. very professional, and super friendly team!Service: Oil change

I came in for an oil change today. Austin was the main person helping me and working on my car. He is very polite, professional, and honest. He said that some places might have recommended a certain service, but he didn t think it was necessary and didn t want to charge me for something I didn t need. I am a female recent college grad with little car knowledge, and other places I have felt intimidated and taken advantage of. I felt supported and very well taken care of! I appreciate the wonderful service!

Nice people, good service, and showed me the reason that I needed my air filter fixed. Also I called before hand and they gave me a coupon to use. The only thing is they added a bunch of fluids that I did not ask to be put in and then charged me for them. Other than that, great service.
