Tried to give the small local joint a try and it just puts a bad taste in your mouth. They lied to my face, didn t seal the tire correctly so I had to go back several times, and got my 1 year old bright white leather seat filthy. They don t care about you or your vehicle. They only try to deny everything and say what ever they did wrong was like that when you gave it to them and they will 100% employ bad logic and lying to do so. Sigh..It cost the same price to use the national chains, so if you don t want garage filth/grossness in your car when you go to get new tires, go elsewhere because they don t even bother to protect your car with the $0.10 seat covers.

These guys are amazing. I had a cracked rim and they reinstalled my new rim for me. I had a very nice experience. They were kind, they work quickly, they were very helpful and transparent with me. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been dealing with Harris Tire on Wards Road for years. I went in for service again today and they didn't disappoint. This place will deal with you fairly and honestly. They never try to rip you off, they seem committed to making you want to come back the next time you need service. The staff are professional and polite. This place is my go-to whenever I need tires, inspections, etc...and if you live in Lynchburg it should be yours too.

Warning: I took my car here for an alignment since I just had the front axle replaced. They told me an alignment would be pointless since I m getting new tires in 6 months. I told them it was riding rough, and I just wanted the alignment still. They ended up driving it around for a few hours and just balancing the tires, which ended up costing me more than the original agreed alignment price. They apparently left the key in the car for me to pick up. When I went to get it, the key was missing. I called them back and they said they went back to the car and found the key and put it on the seat. Once again I went to get my car, to only find my spare key for my other car sitting on the seat (I had kept the spare in the glove box and it was a different branded car key than the one they were working on). During their search they ended dumping all the contents of my middle console all over the backseat. They ended up losing my key and had to get it replaced. They did end up paying for the lost key, but this was two and a half days of wasted time and it was like pulling teeth to make sure they got me the right key with electric locks. I would be careful about going here.

Jerry and the rest of the crew were great! I love my new tires and the alignment is perfect. They were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Excellent work. I highly recommend.

Always a great experience here. I ve bought new tires here for many, many years and have also had car repairs done here. Fair pricing and a good crew. Their pricing on tires is especially good and on par with the pricing of Costco and other major retailers that sell tires.A few things to keep in mind: You cannot schedule an appointment for most service options here. The exception are quicker items such as state inspections and oil changes. So it s best to make plans to leave your car if you do not want to take your chances with a longer wait. This garage stays busy. They do good work and have a lot of loyal customers.

Took my car to get the tires rotated. Later that day had to call a tow truck and they informed me that the lug nuts were not torqued down at all. Would not recommend

These guys are AWESOME!! Have given them quite a bit of my business. Last visit was for my TPM light coming on in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They suggested and replaced ALL tire sensors and at a reasonable price; including spare!! Haven't had a problem with it since. They also give MILITARY DISCOUNTS!! Thanks guys and will DEFINITELY return!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! We appreciate YOU!!!

Excellent customer service. Although there were very busy but they were able to fix the problems of my car without to wait too long. They were very considerate sine I was waiting and need my car so I can go to work by 2pm but they3 were able to fix it by 11: 30 like they promise. It made my day.

When I took my car in to get an oil change I asked them to check my brakes because they had been making a whining noise and a metal noise for a few months. But when they got done and I asked them about the brakes, they said the brakes were fine and that it was just dust and that they cleaned it off. Two months later, I took it to get a state inspection some where else and the brakes and rotors failed the inspection. This was not really a surprise to me as they kept making noises after I had gotten them checked. I am very disappointed in the "service" I received here.

This was my first time coming in to Harris Tire. I called the week before and spoke with Jerry who was super helpful. He listened to my needs and didn't try to push a sale or higher price on me. I told him about my driving habits, my budget and what I was looking for in a tire and he found me the perfect set of tires. The experience itself was easy, quick, fairly priced for everything I got and pleasant. I will be going back in the future.

I came into Harris a few days ago to get a tire checked before a long trip, as my car had been showing warnings it was low. They immediately took me in and filled all my tires, and inspected the suspect tire for FREE! Other tire places I called didn t even have time to check, let alone someone who didn t buy their tires from there. Was so appreciative of their great customer service. Will be back!

These guys are legends! I've had 3 different shops in Richmond trying to figure out issue with my car and no one could. These guys found it, fix it up the same day and now it drives like brand new again! Thank you!

Used to have great success with these guys but have since had some issues. They charged us $320 in diagnosis fees during our last trip there. The last $160 of that was because their original diagnosis was incorrect. I understand that everybody makes mistakes, but usually you don't have the customer pay for a company's mistake.

Used to have huge success with these guys, but our last couple visits haven't gone as well. We recently had them work on our Honda CRV, and they originally charged us the normal $80 diagnosis fee before saying that it needed a new compressor (which was still under warranty from the AC fix) and serpentine belt. We told them to go ahead and do the repairs, which they did. After they did the repairs, they said that it actually DIDN'T fix the vehicle and that it had more issues. We called to ask them when we would have a new diagnosis after we had waited several days. We basically got a "It'll be a few more days before I can look at it. Don't really have an estimated time". A couple more days passed before Matt called us to inform us that there were about $1400 worth of repairs to get the vehicle back on the road. We chose to skip the repairs since the car is 19 years old and has 208k miles. When we got the bill, it stated that the original diagnosis fee was $160 AND there was an additional $160 diagnosis fee was also $160, since they had to do an extra diagnosis after the incorrect original diagnosis. It seems unfair that I have to pay $160 for a mistake that they made. So we paid $320 in diagnosis fees and ended up having an un-driveable car. Pretty disappointed, and I was really hoping they'd make it right.

I have used these guys since 2004. They have fair pricing and stand behind their work. Just one example they installed a new compressor for our A/C in our Honda Odyssey that went bad. About a month later we noticed the coolant was leaking. Brought it to the shop and they fixed it with no charge to me. Honest, affordable and a pleasure to do business with.

I had a tire blow on my escape on Wednesday and I had never been to Harris Tire. They had be back on the road in a very short amount of time with 2 new tires on the front for a very good price. We brought my husbands car in for inspection on Friday and knew he might need tires. He did and an alignment and again the staff at Harris Tire went out of their way to get me a good price and they were fast. While all of this with our vehicles could have been really stressful it wasn t because of the staff here. I recently moved to the area and I will use Harris Tire on all my vehicles and will recommend them to anyone! And besides the great service and price they are so very nice!! Thanks guys! You are the best!

They were doing an Oil and filter change for me and I really like the fact that the worker SHOWED ME HOW HORRIBLE my Cabin Filter was. I will not forget that picture!!!

I purchased new truck tires from here: Toyo R/Ts. They initially put the wrong tires on, but when I discovered the error after my wife drove our truck home, I called them and they were quick to fix the error the next day.They were the only place in town with my desired tires in stock and at a reasonable price compared with many of the other shops in town. I'd definitely go here again.

They provide fast and quality service to replace a flat tire with a used tire I had on hand; they have polite customer service, too.Mask policy could be enforced more strictly, however. I was the only client that wore their mask with 5 other clients waiting inside. Four employees did not wear one inside, or they took them off to speak. Signs are posted on the door that it is required to wear a mask indoors. Won't be going back until I get a vaccine if I require more services during the pandemic.

I have been bringing all of my vehicles to Harris for roughly twenty years. They have really gone down hill recently. I will never bring another vehicle to them. I won t even bring a lawn mower to them. I made my som an appointment last Saturday to have his fuel pump replaced. He brought it in Friday at his appointment time and they told him they couldn t get to it and he would have to wait a few days!!! Wth was the point of making the appointment? They deliberately manipulated my son for one reason or the other and I will never bring another machine to them and nobody I know will either. Used to be an honest company. Now they aren t.

COME HERE FOR STATE INSPECTION:Matt was a huge help in getting me in quickly for an inspection. Previously I took my car to NTB for an inspection and they tried to get me for a $10 part that would cost $75 to put in. I came here to Harris tire and got in and out with an inspection in 30 minutes. They didn t try to nickel and dime me for things that were unnecessary. Good honest people here and I highly recommend it!
