Great experience. It was my first time there, they were so friendly, and they explained everything that was needed and things I could wait on. Also their prices were really fair and I ll definitely be coming back here for all my car needs.

my go-to for auto repair needs. they are so accommodating and understanding of urgency, and i really appreciate the reasonable pricing. they really know their stuff and do a good job, and they don t charge an arm and a leg for it. got all four tires new from here because i trusted them to do everything right from installation to pricing. thanks so much!

Our family van ran into some engine trouble while on vacation today, as we headed out for a day trip to Luray. Not only was Sherry (hope I'm spelling that right) incredibly kind and helpful on the phone, they were able to squeeze us in right after lunch and had the misfiring cylinder issue diagnosed and repaired within an hour. Very reasonable price as well. We were so incredibly grateful, and though we're not from the area, we highly recommend them for work. Thank you!

I needed to have new brake pads put on my vehicle and I can say that this is one of the friendliest, most honest mechanics shops I've ever been to. No upsells, no "fill in the blank" is broken so you should replace it. They quoted me a price to repair and that's exactly what it cost. I would go out of my way to visit them in the future.Services: Tires, Brakes

Best repair shop experience I ve ever had! The service team was able to replace our alternator within two hours on a Saturday morning, New Year s Eve. If it wasn t for Tom s, we would have been stranded in town until the following Tuesday. Not only was their work great, but the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We now have a favorite shop whenever we re in town. We are so impressed. If you need anything for your car or truck, this is the place to go.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

They can't handle an oil change or a tire change. Put too much air in my tire and blamed it on me, telling my husband I must have hit a curb??? Because I am a woman? There was over 75 psi in my tire....had a huge welp on it..... Are these reviews their family members? Or am I just getting the worst mechanic every time? Been here 3 times. Last time they didn't put the oil plug back in right and oil leaked out everywhere. I guess that is my fault again??? They don't take responsibility for their mistakes. Just blame it on the woman.....

Super recommended!!!This shop was amazing. They charged me $20 and had me on the rd just 10 mins after stopping there. Very attentive. Friendly. Fast. The Ms in the front was so polite. I m on a road trip and my check engine came on, oil was just pouting from the bottom. I stopped here to find out it was just my oil filter placed incorrectly. They could ve said anything *- I was at Valvoline a few days prior for the oil change.

This is a very busy business but don't let that fool you. They are professional and know what they are doing. Reasonably priced and quick on getting you back on the road. I had a dashboard light come on after I got it back. I called on a Saturday and was told I would get a return call on Monday because the guy that worked on my car wasn't there. Dang if Sherry didn't call me as promised. All is fixed and a big thank you for your high standards

Amazing place to go to. Family has been going here for years, at least 20+ mainly because their service and integrity are hard to beat. They once made a mistake on one of our vehicles, we called the next day; they fixed it free of charge with no questions asked. Their prices are also the best I've come across. Needless to say, as long as their ownership and values stay the same I will always choose this place over the other competitors.Service: Oil change

One of the best places to go, never had bad customer service, wonderful people to work around your schedule as well. Quick service, honest management, and good management. The few problems our family has had in the 20 years was always taken care of perfectly from mistakes, and they keep an excellent staff! No hard feelings, but if you don't do well as a mechanic they definitely don't keep you around.Top quality people at an affordable price with some of the best customer service I've experienced.

I didn't get anything fixed at Tom's, thus the five star review. He just said it was nice to give good news for once and sent me on my way. It's been nearly a month now and my car is still fine, so it's time to celebrate the mechanic who is willing to do nothing (and charge nothing.)

My car was making a horrendous front end noise and was shaking so badly I thought the tires were going to fly off going down the road. I called and they got me in same day. The price of repair was laid out very informatively on the invoice, their customer service was wonderful. They called me when they found the problem and quoted me a price. I was at work and they worked with me really well in terms of payment and pick up. Now my car drives smoother than ever. I'm so pleased at the speed and quality of service. Thank you so much!

Our family has had 5 different vehicles repaired by Tom's Auto over the last few weeks. Every employee was friendly and courteous; each repair was done quickly, accurately, and at a great price. Tom's Auto is fabulous!

Got me in on Saturday with no appointment. Diagnosed my problem. Got me back to my camping trip quickly. I know the price was more than fare. Had a smooth ride back home. Good people!

Awesome family run biz. Great staff. They do State inspections, automobile repairs from a light bulb to a motor replacement. Heck they probably fix ya mower if ya ask. Well priced and over the top service and efficiently. HILLBILLYSJYARD

We use Tom s a lot for odds and ends. But in particular, tires. Their prices are always comparable to the big players like Costco. Service is always professional and prompt. Since we live nearby Tom s it is too convenient.

I have been taking my Malibu and my Jeep to Tom's for over 10 years. Outstanding, professional, quick, and friendly service. The mechanics know my vehicles inside and out, and when I have questions, they always show and explain to me what's what right there in the bay, so I know they aren't bullsh*tting me. My Malibu is going on 350k miles and my Jeep is over 400k miles. That's a testament to quality service if you ask me. I love reading the reviews that visitors and tourists have posted, because that sounds like Tom's. Ms Sherry is off having babies, but the cute, delightful Ms Katie has taken over the front desk like a BOSS. Highly recommend Tom's Auto.

Excellent place to get a State Inspection or Exhaust work. Highly recommended. They have a fair amount of staff, and they are able to handle more cars than your average shop. Highly recommend!

Great place to get your vehicle worked on. Very knowledgable staff and personal eager to help you get your problem resolved. Sherry is super nice on the front desk when you walk in the door. Been in business for many years. Would highly recommend this establishment.
