This place is awesome. My car broke down and I had it towed here by Stacys Towing. They told me I needed an engine and had already found a good one reasonably priced. They were just the nicest, kindest, professional people and the best mechanics I've dealt with in years. They honestly treat you like a human being.I would greatly recommend them to anyone.

Always fun when the car s check engine light goes on while on vacation, especially in a remote location!Closest dealer was 90 minutes away, so I decided to stop by this place first thing next morning. I could tell they had a lot of work that day, but they squeezed me in anyway.Fortunately it was a false alarm, and they had me out of there in under an hour. It was a huge relief to have the alert cleared. This was the epitome of small town, friendly service, wonderful experience.

We were on our way from Cleveland Ohio to stay in the woods like the city slickers we are. We lost our wipers about half way here and ended up tying ropes and pulling on them to wipe the windows. Of course it was raining and of course the rigged up wipers barely worked. I googled local shops and just randomly picked this one due to a good reviews. I showed up at 8 am and was out the door by 10 am with working wipers. It was a more than fair price. I was expecting at least twice the amount and a couple day turn around. The people that worked there were polite. My only regret is that I am only here a week and can t go back for my next vehicle problem. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Thank you Chris and staff for making my family s vacation just a little less stressful.

My wife and I had driven up from Atlanta and were staying at a local cabin near the are for our honeymoon. After a trip to DC we started noticing that what at first was a tiny squeak, was turning into something that wasn t able to be ignored. After visiting a few other shops that sadly weren t able to help us, we were directed to this shop. Let me tell you, this was one of THE greatest instances of not only kindness, but service I ve witnessed in a while. Not only were they able to fit us into their weekend schedule, but the owner himself DROVE US BACK TO WHERE WE WERE STAYING. Being able to help us within such short notice was one thing, but using their own vehicle to drive two complete strangers to where they were staying and coming back the next afternoon to pick them up is something else in my book. All that and the car was fixed and we made it back home safely. You want hard work and great service, come to this place. You will not be disappointed. I could go on, but I ll let you see for yourself.Thanks again.-Rey

Serious lack of communication and overcharging. Unhelpful receptionist seems to pad the bill.Since when does one pay for an estimate ($37) and card 'processing' fee($14).On getting a second opinion on their ($700+) muffler job estimate,at another garage, it turned out all we needed was to replace a flange ($54)!Beware.

They scheduled me in pretty quickly for an oil change and to plug a tire. It had been giving me trouble and had a slow leak for weeks. They charged me a considerably less amount than several other repair shops I checked with. The staff were very courteous. I will definitely be returning to Luray Car Care for any future car needs. They have a new regular customer in me.

This is the only mechanic that I trust to take some of our older collector cars. Staff is knowledgeable and work with you to solve Automotive quirks. Fast friendly service!

I was at Luray Caverns from out of town and my alternator died. I called them at about 3 PM and they were gracious and kind enough to see me on such short notice. They were able to repair my car that same day so I did not have to figure out another solution to get my family home. On top of that they were extremely nice and friendly and the service was much lower in cost than I was expecting.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

I had a last minute issue while travelling 4 hours away from home, and when I called Luray Car Care, they were able to see my car right away. It took them about 5 minutes to reattach a bolt to my car, and at no charge! I think this review and the others on here tell a consistent story: if you're in Luray and need a car mechanic, Luray Car Care is the place to go!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Incredible Service. Saved me from a car-on-the-side-of-the-road disaster. I called because my car was making a noise. Receptionist was smart and efficient. Got me in right away. Within an hour I had a diagnosis. My water pump was about to bust. If I had driven another day it could have a huge dangerous expensive headache. Water pump fixed in a jiffy. I had several less critical things to take care of. They found me the best price on parts but didn t skimp on quality. My car is humming and I ve found a car care service for life.Services: Engine repair, Brakes, A/C installation & repair

This place is fairly priced, professional, friendly and incredibly experienced. They have fixed two separate problems on two separate vehicles just walk ups and if I have trouble again I won t hesitate for a moment of where I ll be taking it. They also have the friendliest and cutest cat so bonus!

Great experience bringing my car here, was having brake caliper issue, fit me onto the schedule when no other shops in the area could, friendly staff, extremely efficient dropped off at 8 had it ready within the hour. Would recommend to anyone in the area!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Only place in Luray I've ever taken my car. They get the job done. Parts shipped might make a delay. But the service from the staff and the mechanics - ILL JUST SAY= THEY ARE ALL TOP DRAWER MATERIALFOR THOSE WHO MAY NOT UNDERSTANDTHAT MEANS THERE AT THE TOP OF THERE GAME! Incorrect hours. I got there at 8:36am and they were still closed. I headed over to Tom s Auto, two mins from here. Super recommended !!!
