Without a doubt the most helpful and wonderful staff I ve ever met before. Out of town from Florida coming to Luray for a Wedding and my car broke down. Stranded 15 hours away from home was definitely hard. The Throttle Body on my vehicle had broken, and the closest replacement to it was in the store in Elkton. Mike who works at Advanced drove me 30 minutes down to the store after he got off work so I could get the part I needed. An absolutely fantastic fella who went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Another employee who helped me tremendously was John. John was out in the rain with me, pushing my car into the parking lot, to help get me taken care of. He was out there, in the rain, giving me advice and helping me with what I ought to do. Mike and John were Guardian Angels who helped get me back on the road and back home to Florida. If you ever need help with an auto part and some amazing customer service, this is the place to go. I cannot thank John and Mike enough for helping get me home, and those two employees are the absolute definition of what Customer Service and Advanced Auto Parts should be. Cannot recommend them and this store enough for all you need while in Luray!

Been here a couple times for different things, staff is very helpful. Thomas goes the extra mile to help. My dads 83 rollback I was having issues getting a part for he found it and had it in 1day. Much cheaper than the online company I thought I was going to have to deal with.

John helped me out figure out some wiring for my trailer and it was probably the best customer service experience I ve ever had at any auto store.

Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly. I walked in with ups to send out and after Mike s help, I spent $90 on Christmas presents for my dad and boyfriend. Mike walked with me around the store and talked out in great detail all I needed for my car and presents. Thanks!!

Oct 3 2021, Chris provided me with great customer service after I pulled up at 5pm Sunday with a check engine light on. He quickly diagnosed the problem, got me the parts (spark plug and new coil sleeve) and advised me on how to replace them. Done in 30min and back on the road home with a smooth running Tacoma. Thanks!

Excellent service, the representing associate helped me get my discounts, matching prices on my pays with to little effort, he knew exactly how to do his job and offered me the best quality products for the lowest imaginable process. I wad definitely impressed with his willingness to help me, thanks guys.I will definitely go back to them again and again fir all my vehicles, needs.

Visited today to return a battery for the 2nd time under warranty, called before hand and told them I was initially given the wrong battery, was told it would be taken care of. Guy I spoke to was gone, guy claiming to be manager on duty said he couldn't exchange even though I offered to pay the difference (like 20 bucks). I explained that I have spent 1000's at advance, even replaced almost every part on my 89 civic through advance. He proceeds to check my history to see how much I've spent like im some liar and gives me the same d*** battery. Been using advance for 20 years and will never spend another dime here.

This advance definitely stands above the rest. I ve had several really good experiences here where they go that extra little bit to make sure you have everything you need or have replaced defective things for me with no questions asked when they didn t have to. Down home friendly and understanding folks keep me coming back.

Sometimes they don't always have part's in stock, as they say when you call. Also loaner tools could be a little better.
