These people will rip you off, especially women. Failed inspection. Tried to tell me my motor mounts were broken. Called my mechanic, stopped by on my way home and motor mounts are fine. Motor does not shake!!

First off, went to get an inspection done and my vehicle failed. No big deal, it happens. My fog lamp was broken and then he said "Front left suspension loose" and that was it. Took it to a mechanic and they said that the safety guy never gave me my failed temp tag and the proper paperwork. Mechanic said that my suspension looked fine and nothing was wrong. Went back to get the tags from the safety guy. He said that he did not give us the paperwork because his printer was broken, yet printed off the paperwork with the description of the problems he stated, said he could point out what was wrong with the suspension yet failed to tell us the problem. Then told us his system was down which means he knowingly did the inspection without proper documentation. Super sketchy. He was very rude and lied repeatedly. Reported to the Better Business Bureau because this is super unprofessional and seems like it could be questionable at best. Go someplace else.

Cannot say enough good things about Syed. I called to get a second estimate on front brake replacement because my normal shop wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for parts and labor. Syed said that was much too high and called me within 5 minutes once he'd gotten an estimate. I couldn't have felt safer leaving my car in his hands when I dropped it off. Brake replacement took about 2.5 hours and Syed assured that I would be happy. I am ! because of the price and his wonderful demeanor. He pretty much started ordering parts as soon as I called him. He even did the inspection for me so I don't have to go back to my other shop. Excellent service, and I felt very assured. Thank you! I will come back!

In the middle of a cross country road trip my family and I had a flat tire that was fixed in a fast and efficient manner by manager Syed and his staff. As we were in a hurry, we forgot a personal item and it was a relief to count on Syed to mail it back to us. I am impressed and thankful for his help and will never forget his kindness.

Worst place to go ever. Just went for inspection but sanjay kapoor is the scammer I have never seen in my life. People are right about Indian people who do scams. I know what is safety inspection and emissions. I only went over there for safety inspection. And that guy told me without even checking my car that you have to pay even you will fail. Anyways he took my car inside and almost spend 40 mins on it and usually inspection does only 15 mins. And I saw him checking smog too which you only check for emissions but he was unlucky and couldn t find anything. He failed my car stating that my tail light is broken and when I saw there was a minor crack on it. This guy is just a scam. Please be aware of him.

We have taken our vehicles to Gunston Shell for service for several years. Syed is the manager & is very friendly, helpful & professional. They do great work & have earned our trust.

The Manager Mr Syed Shah and others at Gunston Shell Services Center are extremely friendly, polite , professional, coueteous, and efficient. They do outstanding work and I highly recommend them to several of my neighbors.

This Shell always takes care of me when I need something (inspections, nail in tire, air in tire, wiper blades). Today, I was going to put air in my own tires & the (Pakistani, I believe) man working there saw me & checked my pressure & put air in himself in the garage w/o me having to pay. I feel warm, comfort & support at this station. Like family. They have been there a while, so local. Thank you very much for taking care of me on my needy days. You re the best

Rolled in on a Friday afternoon on my way home to Richmond, VA with a serious flat tire. The manager (Paul) immediately called a mechanic to assist me with the flat. The mechanic was very professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job of patching up the tire and explained that I needed to replace the tire when I get home since the damage had occurred near the rim. He also offered valuable information when I asked him about tire brand recommendation. I was most impressed with the great service that I received from both of them!

Knowledgeable, professional, and absolutely honest. On my first visit, I saw Paul patiently talk someone out of an unneeded repair. He has always been flexible and fair to me and my friends that I refer there--this is the only shop my daughter trusts to not take advantage of her because she is not mechanically savvy.The combination of integrity and skill here is hard to find in many places.

I work long hours and I arrived at 4:55p hoping to get my car inspected. Mechanic Kapoor was kind enough to inspect my car before they closed. Very thankful for their kindness and flexibility!

I live nearby so I have taken my vehicles to Paul over there many times. They do a great job, prices are fair. Repairs were always done surprisingly fast. I would recommend their shop and use it again.John Lukach5918 Oak Grove StLorton

My whole family uses Paul at this Shell. He is the most honest mechanic we could find in northern VA. Doesn't make up bogus excuses and charge for unnecessary repairs, and has told when "Well, frankly, I wouldn't put any more money into that car. It's as good as totaled." and explained how we were sold a lemon. On our van (which is 17 years old) he called around to check where and how available the parts were before writing up the estimate so it included all the shipping and special order prices. Most mechanics now write a low estimate, then stick you with "well the parts were harder to get then we thought they'd be!" So I'll say it again. The most honest mechanic you can find around here is Paul.

I work not that far from here and pretty much buying gas here all the time. Good place, prices a little higher. You can drive 2-3 mile south and get 30-50c cheaper gas. But it's in a really convenient place. As well as there is a Seven Eleven next by.
