They do a fine job with oil changes, but if you go to get your car inspected? Good luck! It s a joke. I was just there they, 1: don t do appointments for it, 2: was told it is a two hour wait currently, but if I didn t sit at their facility for 2 hours, if another car came in before me in 2 hours, they d be serviced first. I completely understand the guy who does them is busy, but why the hell would you not at least pencil in appointments to save someone s place? I don t get it. I m going elsewhere.

Left hood unlocked / not closed all the way on last visit, wanted tires changed said did not have enough help, asked to make appointment for Tuesday told " not need just come in" show up, now need an appointment.. Not the first visit there that I thought they only did what they felt like doing..

Does not carry a full stock of oil filters and very unprofessional manner. 5 years ago place was amazing. Never had these issues with Magic city and half the price of valvoline.

Went for an oil change and in their thorough inspection they discovered I had a nail in one of my tires. Thankfully they were able to patch it!

On Tuesday I called and asked if I could schedule an appointment for my car for an inspection, the guy was really friendly said it was first come first serve. I explained to the guy I knew I needed brakes and he said they would inspect and if I needed them they would put them on for me. Wednesday morning I brought my car by.. I went into the office and stood there for about 10 mins which is fine I know they are busy I decided that i was going to leave and come back another time (I always have gone to them for any car repair/issue) as I was walking out a man comes out from the garage and goes can I help you miss I told him I wanted to get my car inspected..he cut me off and said you wanna get that car inspected that you came in with your brakes scraping like that, it won t pass inspection in a very mean and sarcastic tone I responded with well I know I need brakes as I told the man I spoke with yesterday and he said it wouldn t be a problem they would inspect and go from there. The man says well we will see what the inspector says. The inspector then comes over looks at my breaks for maybe three seconds and he says that he can t do this today and it s gonna cost me $500 plus labor and plus the inspection he also mentioned how he was short handed today. They just weren t friendly at all and made me feel extremely bad about coming to get a service they provide . I m not sure if he was trying to rip me off or take advantage of the fact I was young female.. I decided to just leave and go to Clark s shop where they took care of everything for way less than $500 and was extremely friendly and nice. I definitely recommend any other place.

Call and ask about inspection. Told first come first served ask if busy told 1 other person has inquired about inspection. 30 minutes later I get there 2 uniformed employes ask about getting on list, am told wont be until at least 2:30 I am working alone.Go to oil change and am told 15 minutes. 2 cars in bays 1 in front of me. After 35 minutes both bay doors close. Call them and am told it is busy and short staffed someone is coming to talk with you. Am told another 10 minutes. Tell them allready waited 35 says busy and understaffed. Ask if it will really be just 10 minutes and he says I think so.Wont see me again. Lied to multiple times by multiple employees. Not any way to run a business. I guess they lie to all their employees which is why they cant keep the good ones.

Don't go here for Inspection. They told me I had to replace my windshield wipers when there wasn't anything wrong with them. They were holding me up. Had to pay an extra $42.00 They are dishonest and I think they do this scam on alot of people. The guy doing the work was lazy. Took him forever. They are a ripoff : (Very disappointed!

Called h&j to get my oil changed & they wouldn t do it & had horrible costumer service. Luckily I found this place with better prices & it was a complete opposite experience. The entire staff was extremely friendly and efficient! I got my oil change by James and he said he could rotate my tires AND check the rest of the cars basic functions for me too while he s at it, he was very friendly & professional. This company as well as Shane & James went above and beyond when all I needed was an oil change! Only took 20 or so min.. Very happy, definitely coming back & fully recommend!:)Services: Tires, Battery, Oil change

Came for an Inspection, ended up getting a lot more done, due to another business messing up my sensor and balance on my tires. This place is always amazing, and the guys working here know what they are doing, they re always super nice and they do not rip you off and I got so much done to my vehicle and it was very inexpensive! Had an issue with my newly purchased truck and Everett/Justin and the folks went out of their way to ensure I was ok and safe. The kindness and professionalism of their team shone through that morning. Their customer service and team work was exemplary. Just good hearted, generous and kind folks. I'd give them a gold star for the day if I could, instead I bought them lunch. Great work all! Management should be thrilled to have em.

I was very disappointed with this business. On Friday I had new tires put on at another business. On Saturday morning, I got my car inspected at another location because I was told this location did not have an inspector. So after getting my car inspected, I went here to get my oil changed. Which is very over priced, however I ve been going here many years, so I just paid the price. They have always tried to influence me to buy extras . Which is fine, it s their job. But what I had a problem with was when the gentleman told me my tires needed to be rotated, I literally had brand new tires put on the day prior to this visit. This was uncalled for. If they are doing this to me, how many other people are they cheating and lying to? Just to charge more? Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment, nor will any of my family and friends. I will make sure I tell everyone I come into contact with about this experienceService: Oil change

I'm from Texas and yesterday talk to Patrick about using my own oil because I put Royal Purple in my diesel truck and he gave a me good price. Went this morning to get the oil change done n Adam honored the price from Patrick. Adam and his morning crew did an awesome job and were very professional!! would definitely come again next time I'm in Lexington, Virginia on a Hotshot!!! and need an Oil Change and service.

The Lexington Valvoline is now my go-to quick lube for my personal vehicles. The staff is not only professional, but extremely polite. They serviced my car in no time at all, and I was out and able to run all of my daily errands. They truly care for their customers and want them to have a great experience there with them. HUGE shoutout to Everett the store manager. He personally came over to assist in servicing my car, while also explaining all of the services my car was due for. They value safety, and they never pressured me to buy anything. If you re looking for service experts, look no further. I'm mixed about this place. It's a money maker business so you're in and out quickly. You get a plethora of options to choose from when getting just an oil change and they explain extras that range mostly over $100. I like being in and out and not having to leave my vehicle. I also like that they'll check inspection regulated things during the oil change. The downside I find is in the extras. I think because they're not performed as often, the skill of your maintenance person varies. I really, not a bad place.

Staff, service, and efficiency were great. They did everything under their control perfectly.However, when I noticed that the new sticker for my full synthetic oil change only was written for 3,000 miles over my current mileage, I was disturbed. Most oil places will try to cut a thousand or two miles off the life of the oil for a few extra bucks, but only reflecting 40% of an oil life on a sticker is atrocious. When I asked an employee about it, he replied "they don't let us put anything over 3,000 miles." even despite the 7,500 mile rating of the oil I purchased. Long story short, don't trust the stickers. Very disappointed in Valvoline, but I will stress that this was nothing the employees on-site had any control over, and if you go here you will get a great, fast oil change experience. Just be wary of the sticker.

We were driving through town and our transmission was giving us trouble. We pulled in, had the problem diagnosed (we just needed new transmission fluid), had it fixed, and had us back on the road within 20 minutes. First time i ever pulled in do get an oil change and i asked a simple question. The girl helping me literally called me a jerk for asking my question instead of just answering it politely. When the manager came over he didn t nt care what she did or how she acted he just tried to bribe me with a $20 off first service. Would not send my worst enemy to this store or company. Just change your oil Yourself you'll save $40-$50 anyway.

I guess $100 for an oil change is the price you pay for convenience of driving through. I would have gave just 1 star for the price gouging that took place, but the employees were super nice and it was really fast. Just way overpriced!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

This place charged my daughter 40.00 to rotate tires on a honda civic...when the local Michelin station charges 16.00...they also made both my daughters stay in the car while they lifted the car to do a rotation. I called and talked to the manager , he said returning customers can come in and sit down ,but their policy with new customers was to keep them in the car ...Covid or not , i can promise you they have gotten the last of my money.

These guys are quick and efficient. Knowledgeable about many things and makes it an enjoyable experience. I love the fact I can stay in the car during the whole process!
