On a recent Sunday evening, a failed alternator on 81 forced an abrupt end to our trip. We found Lee Tire and directed the tow truck operator to drop off there and take us to a nearby motel. The next morning we walked a mile and a half to be at Lee Tire when they opened. They quickly ordered a replacement and it showed up in a few minutes. Shay drove us back to the motel and within a short while he returned to take us back to the shop. They went out of their way to priotize our car repair and to transport us back and forth. They were very friendly and efficient. We are thankful for them helping us to get back on the road so quickly. I would strongly recommend Lee Tire based on our the above experience!

We were on a family trip from Fl- Maine, just driving through Virginia when our alternator died in our van. We are so grateful that our tow truck brought our van to Cooper and Lee s. They saved our family trip and fixed it so fast! We didn t get stranded for days in a hotel and we are only a few hours behind our original schedule. Thanks guys! Friendly and fast service! Highly recommend!

The guys at Cooper and Lee's were great!! We were in from out of town and had an issue with the battery. The battery was installed back home just a few days before the trip to VA so was under warranty at my shop but C&L made a few calls and got us squared away with a replacement at no charge--they honored our warrantee! Also did a quick check with everything else to make sure we were safe before our journey back to Ohio. I highly recommend these guys! Super nice and super professional!!

They did my inspection at one point. Very thorough and helpful. I did have to get an appointment I think. Another time I got work done but my number got lost and they couldn t call me to let me know it was done.

After a noise was coming from my car I pulled into Lee's Auto and in about an hr the brake pads were replaced and I learned what the noise was and was shown the old pads and the new pads and the service was great . I definitely recommend this auto shop. Thanks guys you made my day and I went on to work. Thanks for your time and professionalism.

Excellent customer service! Always greeted with a smile and willing to help! Experienced personnel who are willing to help without adding all the unnecessary charges that most shops have. Have been in several times for tires to service to state inspections. Best prices on tires I have found in Lexington and surrounding areas. Will be back again!

My check engine light came on while traveling. Stopped in Lexington in case it was something serious I would have a nearby hotel. Owner was super inviting when I walked in and I explained the situation to him. He asked me if I was traveling. He let me know if it was anything serious they were full today but would be happy to take a quick look and see what the codes were saying. He fully explained the issue to me, that I would be safe to keep driving, and what to watch for that would alert me the issue is now serious and needs to get fixed asap.. Wouldn't take a penny for his time. If I lived in this area he would most definitely be my mechanic.

I broke my car on the way to campus driving from MA to VA (W&L) and needed to get it fixed near campus in Lexington. I know nothing about cars, but the guys at Cooper & Lee s were so helpful and kind, they even fixed my car faster than expected! The price is right, so if I ever have a problem again, I m heading back to Cooper & Lee s!

I actually broke down at 11:30pm in Lexington, VA and after an overnight stay I called Cooper and Lee's to see if they could repair my vehicle. I dropped off my vehicle on Monday and it was a pretty significant repair that they had completed and my vehicle ready for me by Friday. They kept us informed of everything that needed repair and the cost. They were not only reliable, friendly but they were more than reasonably priced as well. I am glad that this was the shop that I called and had repair my vehicle! I would definitely recommend them for anyone that is in the area or needs an unexpected repair.

I highly recommend Lee's Auto Repair! This past Sunday we were on our way back home from a family vacation to Washington D.C. when our car broke down. We had it towed to Lee's based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. As soon as they opened on Monday morning they got to work on replacing the alternator. They then had us ready to get back on the road by 1pm. And this was all at a very reasonable price and a high degree of professionalism! If I lived in the area, I'd bring my car here any time it needed maintenance.

Like in many of the reviews left about this auto repair center, I experienced issues with my car while traveling on a nearby highway. Drove it to Lee's, where I met a man who is a super dude.I had the typical fears of dealing with this type of situation away from home, but this guy showed me the cause of all my problems, fixed it and let me test drive it before paying.My life is better after an experience with this guy, his services and the people there. What more can you expect? I can't say he can fix all your problems, but he and this outfit are 5 star people.

Thanks guys for the great service, I had an oil change, and a state inspection and my transmission oil filled up all for under $50.00. They had it done in under an hour so I had plenty of money left over after the bill and a $20 dollar tip that I gave them for being so professional and quick, in fact I even had time to go to lunch.Thank You Guys So MuchFor All Your Help, I Am SoHappy. I went to Cooper and Lee's when I was on a time crunch before a weekend trip to figure out why my car seemed to be sputtering and lurching when I accelerated. I called after work shortly before their closing time to see if they could help in any way (everywhere else was closed or about to close), and they told me to go ahead and bring the car over and that they'd keep the shop open after 5:00. I went and received an estimate, they fixed my car the next day (for a lower price than the initial estimate), and I was on the road when I needed to be with no issues. I've gone to them for everything since then, and have had nothing but a positive, informative experience. Couldn't recommend more!

I was traveling through the Lexington area and started losing coolant in my vehicle. I stopped at Cooper & Lee s and Shad took care of my problem quickly despite having several other ongoing jobs. Shad told me that he always tries to take care of folks stuck on the road. I highly recommend Cooper & Lees. Great job guys.

Worked with them 2 years ago. They did good work except it took them a month to replace brake lines. I called recently to schedule some brake work, their receptionist left the phone to speak with the owner. I could hear them joking/laughing about my lack of knowledge in describing the problem. Their head mechanic came on the phone and was rude, condescending, and demeaning. Will not be going back.Overall:Pros:-Work is goodCons:-Prices are on the higher side-Well below sub-par customer service-You'll be used to walking before your vehicle is finished

GO TO THEM! I would go to them again and again! This was the best experience I've ever had when it comes to auto anything. They were closed the sunday I went, but he opened the shop, stopped working on his own car to work on mine. With his help and understanding we decided it was best just to replace my two front tires, both of which had gone flat on me previously, so that it would prevent further problems. I can not stress enough how nice and caring this man was. He was very patient, would talk politely and made you feel at home, not to mention his dog is adorable. My boyfriend said that he reminded him of his grandfather, very caring, understanding and hospitable. The trip, which could have been ruined by having to go to stanton for a tire fix was saved, it was stress-free, and we were back to our plans within an hour.

Can't truly express just how greatful I am to this shop. Broke down roughly 150 from home. They where insanely busy, yet still found a way to fit me in, fix up my car, and put back on the road again.They didn't attempt to cheat me, or over charge me, quite the opposite. Turned out to just be a miss firing spark plug. They could have easily said I needed coils or a whole list of very expensive parts and labor, but they just changed the plugs for a very reasonable price.Finding a good honest shop isn't typical very easy when your in a place you're not familiar with, but the folks there treated me with the upmost kindness and respect. Couldn't possibly recommend them highly enough.

Was on a cross-country drive and managed to get a nail in a tire. Came in without an appointment, they were checking my car within 5 minutes and and it patched within another 15...and it cost me under 10 bucks. Thanks guys.

I have always been pleased with the service I've received here. I really like going there because they are honest and helpful. The somewhat steep rocky driveway is a bit to climb but worth it for the no nonsense kindess of the mechanics at Lee's.
