Got referred to it by other party s insurance. Please avoid this place. They damaged my vehicle and refused to fix it after insurance amount was paid by calling it wear and tear. Please AVOID this shop.Updated Review (Aug/23): The screeching sound from wheels that started with the accident and was reported to insurance and body shop(Trevor) and fixed by them, resurfaced in 2 weeks. Took it back. First they said it is wheel bearing or axle, after keeping a car for a week, they (Trevor) said they can t fix it as it is normal wear and tear due to brake calipers! They should have said the same diagnosis the first time where they said it was fixed with wheel alignment. Quite disappointed with their after repair warranty service. Two recommendations:1) Please avoid this place for mechanical work even if your insurance sends you here.They are only good with body/paint job.2) Don t sign paper work until completely satisfied. Because there is nothing like warranty here.Lastly, they were shabby with grease stains in vehicle. Please see attached. I was so frustrated of waiting without my car with no fix that picked it anyhow.I wouldn t recommend this place if you would like professionalism and peace of mind.

Not only does this shop do excellent repair work, they also go the extra mile to be sure you are well taken care of. After fixing my fender and then repairing a scratch on the opposite side of the car, they ordered a special part I needed to attach my new Virginia license plate to the front grill, and then mounted both plates, no charge. They were pleasant to work with, and the price was fair, so I can only highly recommend this body shop.

Did great work on my Subaru. Got rear ended, had to replace whole spare tire housing. Welds were good, though there was a lot of bondo on the back. The paint match was immaculate, looks like it never happened!

A very well run and organized repair facility. Great communications between the customer and insurance company. Repairs were top notch and their vehicle clean up and detailing after repairs were most excellent.

It is approaching 6 weeks and I still do not have my car. I was told initially it would be ready in 3 weeks. Every time I call, there is some new issue and some new part that keeps delaying the completion of the car. My insurance stopped covering my rental 2 weeks ago and I have no car but they do not care. I now have to take time off my work to go to the shop to discuss with the manager because I can't reach him on the phone. This is incredibly frustrating.

Recently had someone hit my parked car in a parking lot, and my insurance company directed me to The Body Works of Virginia to get it repaired. My experience was great! Trevor took care of me by keeping me updated regularly on the progress of the repair and they clearly made an effort to get it done as fast and efficiently as possible. They even detailed my interior for me when I was unable to pick it up for a day. Thank you to Trevor and the rest of the team for a great experience!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We had some damage from getting rear ended and found these guys online. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negative things I can say is that the repair took 3 weeks when I was told it would be 1-2 weeks but they did state that it was dependent upon them receiving the parts from their supplier and that is what caused the delay. Also, I had to call them to find out why it was taking so long instead them reaching out to me, but I could tell that they were busy and handling many customers so I'll give them a pass on that one. The repair looked great in the end and the vehicle was cleaner when I picked it up than when I dropped it off.Service: Body & Trim

Body Works had the lowest estimate out of 3 auto body shops to repair my damaged bumper. Under different ownership since I used this shop 23 years ago. I was impressed with process from building the estimate to delivery of completed work. No "junk fees" in the Body Works estimate, unlike the two other estimates I received that each had several junk fees (e.g. $12 for masking tape; $43 for disinfectant cleaning - what?!?) Very glad I obtained and compared the 3 estimates. Body Works' estimate was straight forward. Received periodic updates other 3 days regarding progress on parts ordered and date to expect completion. The communication was superb. The quality of work - outstanding. Luis handled my job perfectly, and courteously. I highly recommend Body Works!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have had 2 BMW 535xi repairs here and the best experience as far as car repairs mine were both collision repairs repairs done and looked brand new! Tania D and Mario T and Luis are excellent, best in service all around very kind, friendly prompt and professional service. I went to this body shop to replace the headlight on my car and dealt with Luis Luyo. I received excellent customer service. I received text messages to update me on the progress every step of the way and the end result was amazing. I am a satisfied customer and will be contacting them, if and when needed in the future.

My car hit a tire on the interstate and had a portion of underbody plastic guard panel hanging down and dragging on the road. I stopped by Body Works unannounced and asked if they would please remove the panel so i could return home - 2 hrs away. They immediately put the car up on the lift and took off the panel. The men were very polite and responsive. Thank you so very much for your kindness.Service: Body & Trim

Had a really great experience at The Body Works of Virginia, unfortunately Geico ended up declaring my vehicle a total loss following an accident, throughout this process Trevour the service advisor did a great job, he even helped me take off the old tags. I've had repairs done here twice, and it was a good experience both times.Once I asked them to help save a jalopy by bending the fender back into place. A different shop wanted thousands of dollars for work I didn't want; Body Works did exactly what I asked for a small fraction of that.The second time I got some more comprehensive work done on a newer vehicle. They did excellent work for a reasonable price, and they got it done sooner than promised.I hope I never need body work done again, but if I do, I will surely return to Body Works.Service: Body & Trim

One of the best customer service experiences I ve ever had at Body Works of VA. On the week of Christmas, they made accommodations to get my car in immediately because it was in poor condition to drive. They completed an alignment, suspension check, balanced tires, and oil change/fluid replacement all while I waited at the shop that day.My car felt better than when I first bought it. I was so impressed.Brian did an amazing job at going above and beyond in the quality of his work and consulted me through the process. He was patient, efficient, personable, and just straight up GOOD at what he does. Not to mention the OUTSTANDING rate of these services. I wanted to pay more because they did such a great job.Despite many demands, Nick made sure I was seen, heard and taken care of in a timely manner. He was very professional, attentive, honest, and just knows what he is doing within the car business and with his clients.It is nice to see people invested and knowledgeable in their jobs. I took my Mazda in for body damage due to falling sheets of ice to my hood. Daisy checked me in and kept me up to date on the repairs each day. The work was done quickly and beyond my expectations. When I went in to pick up my car, it had been cleaned inside and out, like a brand new car. Very impressed with their service and workmanship. �Aqu� los empleados hablan espa�ol para los que no hablan ingl�s!Recomiendo este body shop para todos. 10/10 voy a regresar cuando necesito un body shop.On New Year s Eve of all days, some guy from Texas couldn t tell the difference between a red light from a green light and it seems left turn only lights are not a thing in Texas and so he hits my brand new Subaru forester while I had the green light and the genius who hit me thinking a red light at an intersection means go. I needed a body shop badly since it was New Year s Eve/new years day and to my surprise this shop had an opening. Due to parts shortage it took a couple of months but this is not the shops fault. After the wait, they were very quick on the repairs and the staff were very accommodating and I m happy to report that my 2022 Subaru forester looks as good as new. The repairs are immaculate and any issues that weren t addressed before hand are then immediately rectified. I wholeheartedly recommend this body shop as they did an amazing job and were flexible.10/10 will come back again!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My first time working with Body Works of VA.I highly recommend them!Their service and quality of work was second to none. I was in for body repair after hitting a deer. We took our SUV after I was in a hit and run accident. They were the shop assigned by our insurance and it was great! The first time my door was not aligned correctly, and we had to take it back, but they went above and beyond to fix it right and very fast. Very efficient and awesome personnel!! Thanks Tania!! Oh, and special thanks to Cappuccino (the shop's dog) for being so chill with every customer (including kids!)

I selected Body Works of Virginia for a damaged rear bumper because of the great recommendations. And Body Works lived up to the good recommendations. The repair job was great - and the shop went above and beyond by washing my car inside and out. Along with the fantastic repair job, the team was great! From good communication to just being personable, they were a treat to work with. I would highly recomment Body Works of Virginia to anyone needing body shop work.Service: Painting

I had a tow from this place today. My driver was Brian. I have at 87 f150 so I have been towed probably 30 times and have never been so impressed by a driver. This guy had my truck back at my house in 45 from the time I called and everyone else couldn t even get a truck to in under an hour. He was quick, polite, professional, all around great. I talked to Allen at the office and he was awesome to. After this experience I would wait 3 hours to deal with them over anyone else I have used.

Our first time working with the body works of VA and we can simply say their service has to be one of the best they were very professional, they worked on our car in a fast manner despite having a snow strom. They left our car looking brand new, and even washed and cleaned it for us. we were super impressed! Daisy Nguyen made sure I was in and out at check out time super friendly and made sure I was completely satisfied with their work!They all really do go above and beyond with each and every customer. Be aware of new $50 estimate policy. Stopped by to get an estimate for respraying my truck hood. This should be an easy visual estimate. No inspection or opening of hood required. The customer rep behind the desk informed me that he required $50 for the estimate. I questioned this and was told that this is a new policy by the management. I can understand charging for an extensive estimate of body damage needed for an insurance claim, but for simple paint and body work is a poor policy. I ve had work done here before and would have been a repeat customer. I will be looking elsewhere for this work.
