Our Lexus RX350 needed a Major service, and we were looking for a trustworthy shop for the repair. Using the Nextdoor app for our neighborhood, I saw nothing but great reviews on In Motion Motors. We decided to give them a try, and we were not disappointed. We worked with Jonathan, who is highly professional and polite when explaining every item that your vehicle needs service/repair. He didn't try to push repairs on us like some other repair shops try to do, which we greatly appreciate. We are so relieved to finally find an Auto Repair Service shop where we can confidently leave our cars for repairs and routine maintenance.My sincerest thanks to Jonathan and the service team for your excellent service.We highly recommend the In Motion Motors shop to everyone.

Our van needed servicing after a trip from Southern Ontario to Leesburg. Scott and his team did an amazing job of getting us up and running again. Made it home a few days later safe and sound and without issue. Fantastic service. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. They went above and beyond. Thank you so very much. An extra shout out to Wendy who helped with organizing everything for us. You never know where to go when you're in a new town, but this place is the best.

My wife took her car for service recently and they did an amazing job. Additionally, they went above and beyond and painted a few scratches on her car (someone hit her car in a lot). They really are a great repair shop. So appreciative of them the doing extra scratch repair!

In Motion Motors is hands down the best auto shop. The guys who work at In Motion Motors are welcoming and friendly, but more importantly, they genuinely care about you and your car. I used to take my BMW to the BMW of Sterling Service Center but never felt heard or valued and always left with the feeling that my car wasn t ever really fixed despite the amount of money and time spent. I found In Motion Motors via a Google search a few years ago and never looked back. I always felt listened to, was given honest and straightforward recommendations, and they were always upfront about their out the door pricing, which was always incredibly fair and reasonable (and worth it). They even found the root cause of a problem (without me telling them about it) that I had repeatedly reported to the BMW service center and spent so much to fix. I ve recently moved away from the area but wanted to leave this review as these guys are the best. To the guys at IMM- thank you so much for your help over the past few years, I genuinely appreciate it.

In Motion motors is the best place in the area to take your car . I was referred here by a friend and I am so happy that he told me. I formally went to Mini of Sterling but they went Hollywood once they merged with the BMW shop and it became unreliable and awful.You will be greeted most likely by Jonathan who is usually at the front desk. He is very friendly, capable and knowledgeable. I recently had to take my car in and he was so wonderful to deal with and so fair to me in every way. He did everything he could to make sure my repair was fairly priced and finished in a timely manner. I also found him to be very pleasant and reassuring because frankly I was very upset that my Mini Cooper had the dreaded check engine light show up so soon after some rodents chewed my wires 6 weeks ago .Jonathan helped me with that repair too and the price was reasonable.It's so reassuring and a great comfort to know that when something happens to my car and it needs a repair I will not get overcharged.You should absolutely come to In Motion motors and give them a chance if you're having any problems with your vehicle. They have night drop off and you will get a call the next morning from Jonathan letting you know what's going on with your car.Now I don't have to worry about getting that dreaded call from a place that tries to upsell me with a bunch of unnecessary nonsense every time I take my car in for a needed repair. It's a beautiful thing. So come to InMotion motors where you get quality work and peace of mind. Scott has been taking care of my family's cars for about 15 years. When I've had to purchase new cars Scott is always there to lend a hand about which ones are best. He makes sure they are safe and will be the proper investment. He and his techs do their work timely and efficiently so we get our cars back asap. Whatever the problem is, he finds time to help. I'm not quite sure what I'll do when I leave for college and accidently go 3,000 miles over my oil change again. In Motion Motors is AWESOME! No messing around. These guys are top notch. I'm tired of other shops including both dealers Chantilly and Tysons getting ripped off or them trying to rip me off on my Mercedes repairs, I have been to other shops to get my cars looked at because I'm a convenience guy. And once I get the price for repairs I end up taking my vehicles back to Scott every time. You've got my business forever. I had them mount and balance 4 tires that I had purchased elsewhere. I live less than 1 mile from the shop. The drive home was fine. The next time I drove my car to work (20 miles) my tire pressure warning system light came on and stayed on. When I got off and returned home I called and explained and they said they would look at it. To make a long story short the guy came out and greeted me with " Heyyy hustler" as if I'm trying to cheat them. He showed me his scanner and it showed that 2 sensor batteries were dead and one was on the way out. The other battery was fine. I was told that the " technique they use to mount/balance tires doesn't touch the tire pressure sensor". I go to the counter and the guy quotes me upwards of $200+ dollars to install new sensors. I asked him if I could procure the sensors on my own and have them install them and he said they don't install parts bought by customers. So let's think about this for a second. My car NEVER had an issue with the tire pressure system, but the first time I drove my vehicle after having the tires mounted/balanced the light comes on. Seems a little too coincidental doesn't it? I understand not accepting parts bought by customers but in this case where it's pretty apparent one of your techs damaged a sensor you'd think they'd accept the offer or atleast discount the cost of the service some. Steer clear (Literally). Never going here again.Service: Tires

They are usually booked up and there's a reason, they're good at repairs and if you have a German variety of well-seasoned auto, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I used In Motion for the 1st time today to see if I needed brake pads. They said I did not. I also felt I needed an oil change way before what the car told me. They told me not to listen to the car and to do the oil change. They said to do brake fluid in a few weeks. Thank you so much for your honestly. This is also why I go to The Tire Shop for my tires.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Have always gone to Audi Chantilly for my TDI work as the Chief Mechanic has always had my back and went out of the way for me when needed. Didn't think I'd find another shop that would do the same...but I did! The diagnosis and work done was fast, affordable, and done well. You hardly ever find a vehicle repair shop that you can trust....these guys I trust and will continue to use on all of my out of warranty work. This place is beyond amazing. I thought I needed brakes on my Audi. Got a quote over the phone, made an appointment. I drop my car off and they call me an hour or so later to tell me, I don't need brakes. I was floored because they were squealing occasionally. They explained why that could happen. He (I think Scott) said "I couldn't sleep at night If I took your money today" They have earned my business forever! They could have taken advantage of me, but they didn't. I have been taking my car and my mom s car to In Motion Motors. They are honest and hard working. I highly recommend them and will always take my cars to them. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I am a new (used) Mini owner, and this place is my new repair shop. They've been wonderful. My Mini has a few quirks, and the guys here have been super patient and thorough in helping me understand what to do. My Mini burns oil like no tomorrow (a "feature" with this model year), and they've helped me when I've driven up in a cloud of burning black smoke, immediately taking time to make sure I still had oil in it, and letting me know how to add a quart of oil every 1000 miles / every month to save myself repair costs. They always get back to me within hours with a detailed explanation of what's going on with my car, and have even texted me pictures for two visits so I can see the problem. I have an unwelcome critter that has a taste for my AC wiring, and they very generously fixed it for free when it happened again only a month after the first wire repair. They also told me I had a part recall on my car, and printed out and highlighted the paperwork for me to take to the dealership to have repaired for free under warranty (at no financial benefit to themselves). As a 25 year old girl who knows generally nothing about cars, it can be extremely intimidating and nerve-wracking to go to the repair shop. I recently took my car to In Motion Motors without an appointment to just ask for a second opinion on work that another shop quoted me on. This would be the second time in about a year I have made my way back to this shop, simply because I remembered how kind, genuine, and patient the people are there. I was taken care of with no problem and you can just tell how honest and awesome these guys are. If you are considering going to this shop just take this as a sign to do it. This place will always be my first choice from now on!! Thank you guys for making a trip to the repair shop less scary for me! :)Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a freak accident happen to my car. I raced over to these guys and they had the problem figured out and solved in minutes. Then they had it fixed in record time. Scott the owner is one of the nicest guys! He was honest about what my car needed and didnt need. George at the front desk was soooo accommodating. Thank you In Motion Motors for everything. I will be a life long customer.

The best repair shop that exists. I have known the owner Scott Nalevanko for over 35 years. He's soooooo outstanding that I have all 3 of my Mercedes towed or driven to In Motion motors. Several of my friends have been satisfied customers of In Motion Motors.

We have been taking our BMW to In Motion for the past 2 years. They are easy to business with and upfront and honest. I recently took my car in because the "Check Engine" light came on. They did a quick diagnostic and identified the problem, but the tech also identified that BMW had extended the warranty on the part that was failing. That is what I call integrity. After the dealer address recalls and failed warranty part, I"m going back to In-Motion to have them do other service work they identified.

I have a Mercedes 230 SLK, one day it refused to start later in the day it relented and started. Several days go by and I take it to the dealer in Chantilly. They told me to come down on the phone then told me that I had to come back another day. However, the car decided not to start inside the service bay. I said look it is doing it!!! They refused to plug the car into their computer, later it decided to start and I went home. I brought it back at the time of my appointment and guess what? It never failed to start for a week. I took it home (very Frustrated). Then I took it to In Motion. The next day they call and say they found the problem and fixed it, and it has stayed fixed! If you need service Bring your car here!

Excellent. They were able to mount a set of specialty tires for me last minute. From what I hear, they are the best Mercedes specialist in the DC metro.
