Please don t take your boat to Morning Star you will be constantly disappointed like I was last season! They struggle to follow up with you & launch your boat on time. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT let them try to repair your boat. They don t know what they are doing! They put the wrong starter on my inboard not once but twice and thought it was ok to return a boat in worse condition than when it went in. While there people are friendly and they have a great spot to launch you will regret giving them your business!!

Make no mistake about it, marinas are a "people" business. I have not seen it done better anywhere, in all my years of boating. I am speaking about genuinely caring and kind service & support. Boaters in general are nice people, but Tina's crew at Gwynn's Is. takes it to a whole other level. I love this Morningstar team, they are simply awesome, every one of them! Do yourself a favor and experience it firsthand. They give a whole new meaning to the words 'pleasant' and 'accommodating!'

The staff and facility are excellent. I broke down on a Saturday afternoon, limped into Morning Star Marina. Everyone was very helpful and ensured we were taken care of. They impressed me so much that I joined and will keep my boat there.

I purchased a boat from Tina, and her staff , back in April of this year (2021), and it has been EVERYTHING and more, that was advertised!!I was SKEPTICAL to say the least,( because it is 255 miles from my home in Delaware, to the location at Gwynns Island ) thinking, if it seems to good to be true, it probably isn t!Well, let me tell you what, this 1975 21 WellCraft Nova W/A with Cuddy Cabin, has been a great Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean boat, not to mention the attention and compliments that I have received when the boat is in the water!!To sum up my experience with Tina and her staff, they are what you want when it comes to used boat sales!!!Everything, and I mean everything, was/has been percent exactly as promised!!Tina, thank you again for the patience you displayed, I can t say enough how much I appreciate your honesty.P.S. I decided that I would leave it as the Sea Beyond , in recognition of the meticulous care given by Mr. Emig , (Previous owner) and Andy, the awesome mechanic who works for you and performed the regular maintenance while the SEA BEYOND was in your care!!!Sincerely,Brian Foote

We are new to Marinas and storage this year. Ever since we joined it has been so nice. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The place has improved the surroundings within 4 months and it is awesome. So great to be at a nice marina with helpful staff and great surroundings always improving customers experience.Thanks to all the employees ! you all rock!

We have stored our 1997 Boston Whaler at Morningstar for over 20 years. Tina Minor is the major reason we keep coming back. She sets the example of excellent customer service to her team with the result that the entire staff is easy to work with and pleasant to be around. We opted for year-round storage so our boat is always ready to go. We don t have to worry about pier maintenance or storm management. We feel quite fortunate to have Morningstar at our disposal. Now, if we could rent jet skis, we d have our wish!

Great place to stop. We needed fuel and 2 stroke oil they didn't stop looking until we had what we needed. Daughter was feeling sick and the made sure she had water yo drink and crackers if she needed it. Great place to go and they have a mechanic on site.

Great place to keep your boat stored and maintained. Fantastic staff who are always willing to help. I have kept my boat here for years and it has been a stress free and affordable way to keep my boat ready for the water whenever I need it.

Morningstar Gwynn's Island is awesome. Tina and the staff are always pleasant and willing and able to accommodate our needs. The hurricane haul out program gives us piece of mind in the event of a named storm. Nice to have friends you can count on.

The crew at Morningstar Hudgins are top notch. They always help you launch safely and are quick to assist with just about anything. Big shout out to Jess who always answers questions with a smile and to Tina who takes good care of her staff so they take good care of us.

We have been storing our boat at Morningstar for over seven years and we love the staff. Tina and Andy have been great to us over the years. One nice thing is that they continue to upgrade the facilities. It isn't just a good place to store your boat but a great place to visit. We really look forward to visiting with the staff when we come to go boating. I should also mention that Curtis has been a great addition to the staff. They go out of their way to help you. Thank you Morningstar!

Great place - and great people. Been boating for years but this is the first time I ve surrendered to winter storage. MorningStar made everything easy and seamless. Staff has years of experience - and make you feel like family from the moment you roll up. They even let me and my 9yr old son come into the hangar to watch the boat being craned to the upper rack. He thought it was super cool (as did I). Very reasonably priced and was surprised at the wide variety of services they offered and could take care of for me while in storage. Very happy and highly recommend.

Have kept my boat here for last three years. Reasonable rates. Very helpfulstaff. Good protected location with inside storage of your boat or you can leave your trailered boat outside for a minimal monthly fee.

Excellent dry storage marina! Great for my I/O. Full service, friendly and responsive staff. In the water, ready to go on arrival every time! Convenient to the Piankatank, the Rappahannock and the Bay. Couldn't ask for a better experience coming back to the Bay area! Highly recommend!

We have just recently placed our boat at Morningstar. We were extremely pleased with the friendly and courteous service. The marina is very well run and clean. Tina runs an excellent operation with a great team.

Everyone at Morningstar Marina works hard to be sure that you have a safe, enjoyable outing. The services available are wonderful. Whether you need fuel, bait or mechanical services Morningstar Marina has it. When I dock at the end of an outing, I know my boat is safe and in good hands.

Have been a customer several times sine 1995, from owning 3 different properties in the area, since that date. Each time we have kept our Boats at Morningstar Marina. We have recently purchased another property at Gwynns Island and are returning as a customer once again. The entire staff, and Tina Minor are awesome.
