Speedy earns these 5 stars 100%! He is really kind, knowledgable, willing to teach you about taking proper care of your vehicle, gives reasonable prices for services, and he is trustworthy. He saved us a ton of time and money and was willing to work with us with our schedules and prices. He is definitely our family mechanic!

If u are In dire repair needs and need a reliable, honest, super awesome top notch mechanic, then YOU NEED to call Speedy!!! My wife and I can't say enough good words and detailed respect for this man and his Fianc� Pam have for their customers in need of emergency mechanical help!!! We had a brake job done on our F350 work truck Sunday Jan. 16th at Tires Choice in Newport News,VA and on Tuesday the 18th low and behold when we drove up to Richmond, VA to pick up next Hotshot load, there was smoke coming from rear passenger dual tires. I looked all under the truck and noticed oil all inside rim and brake caliper. I tried to call every dealership and mechanic shop in area and no one was able to see or work on truck for 2 weeks up till month out. Speedy returned my call and instructed me to drive slowly to his shop and he would meet us there. Met up at shop around 500pm and he started to tear down the brakes and hub assembly and found that the tires choice shop did not do an adequate repair job and didn't do what I was charged for. So he went and started to get parts needed. He worked feverishly on my truck until couldn't go any farther that night until Ford was able to get rest of parts in. So he took me to local Comfort inn and instructed me to try and relaxe cause he had our best interests in mind and heart. He even recommend a hell of a good diner to try out. Needless to say the next morning at 800 am he had both sides broke down and was waiting on one last piece to finish up. He came to hotel pick wife and I up at 200pm the next day and had us back to trucking by 230pm. So if In the area I most definitely recommend this company for outstanding and professional work. I know it's hard to find or trust a good mechanic but this one is top of the charts Good. Keep up the awesome work and will definitely keep in touch and stop by when in the area. Came in as customer and left as a friend. ATTENTION RV TRAVELERS:IF YOU NEED HELP, YOU WANT TO USE SPEEDY!!FOR ROUTINE SERVICE OR UNEXPECTED REPAIRS!!!We were traveling though the area about 30 minutes outside of Richmond, VA, when we stopped at a rest stop. There we noticed that one of our leaf springs on our 43ft fifth wheel had sheered rendering us stuck at the rest stop. It was a Thursday afternoon, approaching a big holiday weekend, so we spent the next 6 hours call RV mobile mechanics, RV dealers, roadside service techs, trailer repair facilities, all to no avail. We left multiple messages with multiple businesses over multiple hours, all with the same response. Sorry we can t help you, that is until SPEEDY. As night fall approached, Speedy returned our call and asked if we still needed help. He apologized for not returning our call sooner , but he had been helping another stranded traveler. Speedy arrived after 9pm and he was able to help us safely travel to his shop which was less then 10 minutes away! He allowed us to stay in our RV overnight at his shop until we were able to get a replacement part. By noon the next day, we had the new part, it was installed and we were ready to hit the road again!! Let me repeat that, in less than 24hrs we were safely back on the road again, all thanks to Speedy s fast and reliable 24 Hour Service!! I can t recommend Speedy enough for all of your automotive and in our case RV needs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Most amazing experience I ve EVER had when l had car problems!! It was a Sunday and he offered to come by on his day off, and not only did he fix it, but made sure nothing else was wrong. I used Speedy once or twice years ago before covid and it went fine and he was friendly. Then about 2 years ago I needed him for a repair and he said he COULD and WOULD come and fix it. The day came and the dudes a NO SHOW. He left me hanging and I never heard from him again. Then just a few weeks ago I needed a repair and didn't feel like getting my car towed to a shop. Well we called Speedy again and even though he's had some health issues and isn't as active doing car repairs he AGREED to do a minor repair....then vanished again. The guy is UNRELIABLE so whether he's saying he's still in business or not DON'T BOTHER.Service: Engine repair

What a great experience for a first time customer! I was a little sceptical of all the great reviews because it's so hard to find a good mechanic. It seemed too good to be true, but Speedy & Pam are the real deal. Great people and knowledgeable mechanics that do honest work at an excellent price. And they come to you! I'll be back for all my future car needs. If you're not happy with experiences you've had with other mechanics, you should give Speedy a try. I got everything I saw all these other reviews raving about. No regrets :)

Speedy is the best mechanic in all command. When you call he s there rain, snow, sleet and hail. His prices are AMAZING. He s my personal mechanic and the best mechanic in all Richmond VA. I recommend if YOU need ANYTHING done too you car no matter WHAT it is. He will accomplish it, and once work is done always make sure you leave a good review even if it s the littlest job because every review counts. Thanks Speedy!! Speedy is amazing! I didn't know what was wrong with my car, but Speedy helped quickly identify and solve the problem. He helped me out by changing my air filter. He is down to earth and you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. I have never felt so taken care of by any other auto repair I've experienced in my whole life. Speedy's cares for their customers in a way that's very obvious and very reassuring. I had a piece stolen out of my car, which was very upsetting, but Speedy walked me through the process of calling the police and my insurance company and even drove me to get my rental car. He was also a strong and knowledgable advocate for me as a liaison with my insurance company as he assessed the damage and had to wait on some parts to be delivered. In the end, he dropped my vehicle off at the rental company at the same time I was turning my car in so that I didn't have to arrange for a ride or pay for an Uber. It was really a very pleasant experience, which getting my car worked on almost never is. I highly recommend this company and their services!

Speedy is the best local shop you can deal with both occasions he has done top notch work. First time I had gone to a local quick oil change place and got hosed by the fact they did not reinstall the bottom engine cover properly. It came loose on the highway and drug it for about 1/2 mile till I could safely get off the road in busy traffic. The quick lube shop claims that it was damaged before I came in but never said anything before I left the first time. They claim they fixed everything when I returned but the cover was missing 1 screw out of 3 , they stripped the head of the rear screw and had only 1 out of 6 quarter turn screws. Speedy fixed everything including showing me what he did and how he fixed it. Second time we needed a 100 thousand mile service tire rotation and balance before an unexpected big trip, dealership wanted to keep it several days and quote was way above Speedys. Speedy got all the work done in a day sent us pictures of what was worked on and on top of that he delivered the car to our house since it was after regular business hours.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I cannot believe the lengths to which Speedy went to to get me back on the road quickly. I was passing through town with a van full of musicians on a tight tour schedule when I blew a spark plug so badly that it had to be re-threaded. He went out of his way at the end of a VERY long day for him and made sure we were on the road first thing in the morning and not at the mercy of a local shop gouging us with an astronomical bill. Van is now running great; he knew exactly what was needed and was very efficient at executing the service. I could not be more grateful for Speedy and his company!!

Speedy and Pam were amazing! My AC in my Honda CRV had stopped working. It was a pretty big repair - needing a new compressor and my car is complicated with the new freon and more than one zone of cooling. They saved me a ton of money (probably over a thousand) especially compared with the dealership and other mechanics. Not only that, they worked on my car overnight so that it wouldn t interfere with my work schedule. They also came and got my car and brought it back to me first thing in the morning was really helpful. They are also just great people and I will definitely use them in the future for all my car needs!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioning

Speedy was so very helpful! I broke down in Virginia on my way to North Carolina and still had 5 hours to go. Speedy was a lifesaver. He did all the work to my car that it needed and some I didn't even know it needed. He talked me through each repair he did and he showed me pictures of what was wrong with my car. Speedy even called me the next day after I left with my car to make sure I made it home safe. You can't get a mechanic any better than Speedy! I live several hours away but he's still going to be my mechanic for all my cars in the future. Don't waste your time with any other mechanic, Speedy is the guy to go to. I had gotten a nail stuck in my tire and I called Speedy Mobile Automotive services in the morning and he was able to see me that evening. He plugged the tire so I could drive it until I got a new tire. He freely shared his knowledge of tires and how he does the repair. I was able to watch the whole repair and it took less than 10 minutes!! He also gave me great recommendations on where to get new tires and which have the best prices! Thank you soo much Speedy for taking care of my vehicle so quickly!! I am recommending him to all my friends and family!!

Speedy and his fantastic team are exactly the type of automotive mechanics and repair specialists that you want handling your vehicle. I called for an estimate and Speedy asked the questions you'd expect a good mechanic to ask rather than merely rattling off a quote. He ended up providing me with exactly what my car needed, not what I was initially told I should have fixed by one of those drive through oil change chains, at a better price than where I was quoted elsewhere and with quick, top notch, and friendly service. I hope I don't need more repairs anytime soon but if I do I know where I'll be going for them.

Fuel pump needed to be replaced. My vehicle broke down in Troy, VA and Speedy and his crew came out the same night and worked on it all night. He made sure what i told him on the phone was what needed to be done, so once started getting to work he used his diagnostic computers to verify the problem, then he got to tackling the problem by emptying out my gas tank and removing the gas tank on my dodge ram truck, replaced the fuel pump and and had me back on my way, by morning. I did not see him falter on what he said needed to be done, he knows his stuff. I would definitely use him again, also did i mention he came all the way from his area of Richmond to help me out? Excellent service and I quote he "doesn't want to leave someone stranded"

Speedy hooked me up for sure. I got brakes, rotors, a wheel bearing, and my AC recharged! It took me some time getting the money together, but Speedy didn t have an issue with that. He never said he d tow my car although it sat at his shop for a week. Jennifer G, your review makes absolutely no sense at all. Why would you recommend someone else if your experience and service was so bad. I m sure if you had just talked to Speedy, he would have worked something out with you. He was as sweet as could be, and even bought me and my babygirl lunch. Great job done, great customer service, and me and my baby are ready to ride safely and icy cold this summer!

I needed a mobile mechanic and I found Speedy on google,he got my car towed for me at a reasonable rate. He was prompt to answer my questions and nice to work with. When I needed help, he came to my aid . He is a nice guy.I still have problems with my car, when I call him, he'll reach out when he gets my message.Update: I think you may have me mistaken for someone else. I paid $365.00 for your service. It actually cost me less than $50.00 to get my car finally fixed. It was a minor issue. Just wanted to clarify that. Have a good day!

Speedy is far the best mechanic in VA!! He goes over and beyond to make sure the job is done.He got my car running back to how I first purchased it. He send you updates with pics as he's working on your vehicle and also show you the old parts he took off your vehicle. I love the fact that he explains everything step by step of what is going on . Then the best part is that he only use the top of the line parts with warranty included. Me and my husband thank the lord for speedy and will not allow another mechanic to touch our vehicles.THANKS AGAIN SPEEDY!!

My car died two hours away from home, while I was on a work-related trip to Richmond, VA. I had choices, several recommended mechanics, but all involved towing the car and leaving it until next week, which I really did not want to do. I read reviews online and based on those reviews, I decided to call Speedy. He returned my call almost immediately, scheduled same day service (within a couple of hours!) rolled in, and dealt with the problem (the starter) for a reasonable price, without the hassle of towing, etc. What a friendly guy and clearly on top of his own business! I hung out while they replaced the starter, we had some nice conversation, and I was back at my conference in no time. I would recommend this business without any reservation. I will try not to make this a long review. I been trying to find someone to fix my car for several day. These mechanics wouldn t call me back. I find speedy on goggle and he answered right away. He came and looked at my car the same day. Speedy did work on my car but I was still having a problem, speedy can back to check out my car. Speedy did some research on my car to find out that I have a recall on my car that I can get fix free. He also gave me a discount due to it was my birthday weekend. I m a single mother who felt alone with no help. Speedy and his crew are my angels. Speedy Mobile mechanic is now my mechanic and I will share them with others.

Speedy Mobile Automotive Services is top-notch. I was headed from WV to VA when my car broke down. Speedy had me fixed and back on the road by the next morning. The only reason it took till the next day is because the parts had to be ordered. I highly recommend Speedy to anyone and look forward to having them work on my cars in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

(Note) The location on google maps does not show the left turn into the office space.This man ( Speedy ) went above and beyond to help me out in a bind. I was able to call and drop my car off after hours even though most of his workers were sick with flu. Also, I really appreciated how honest and communicative he was, responding to my texts regarding my car and even sent pics of the work so that I was kept up to ~speed~. Lastly, Speedy is simply an incredible guy with such fascinating stories and a respectful outlook on life. Also the price was great

Speedy was extremely accommodating when we had car trouble on I64 past Richmond this weekend. After a quick phone call he swung by the shop and helped us figure out what was wrong with the vehicle. He immediately came up with a solution to how he would get the car fixed and also helped us get set up with a hotel for the night. While repairing the vehicle he took the time to send updates and pictures to help us understand the process. He picked up the vehicle AND dropped it off at the hotel after repairing it for us. Did I mention that this was Sunday morning? I would highly recommend Speedy if you are having any car issues in the Richmond area.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Had the pleasure of meeting speedy and one of his great mechanics. They took the time to help me remove a stripped tire nut and put on my spare tire. I had gone to several mechanics that day looking for some help and no one was able to assist me that day. Frustrated, I researched some ways to get the bolt off online and headed to auto zone to pick up a few tools. After hearing my issue one of the store clerks reccomend speedy and called him up. He said sure and assisted and recommended I get new tires after inspecting them. He and his team were super helpful and kind! I will definitely be back

our F-150 broke down while camping at Pocahontas State Park, so we looked up several repairman to come out and see what was wrong and to fix it he was the only one that answered the phone and returned phone calls, Speedy was very speedy and is a very nice man that likes to help people. Speedy's Automotive Service is awesome!!! I have never met a mechanic with A+ customer service. I needed struts, but I wanted a better price than I had originally received from another auto shop. Speedy's quote was over $200 less. He thoroughly inspected my vehicle and also found the CV axle was in bad shape and needed to be replaced immediately. Speedy is going to be honest with you and he is not going to try to sell services that you do not need! Give Speedy a call the next time you need an auto repair!

So glad I took my spouse's car to Speedy. NTB broke a brand new throttle position sensor, ripped the hose, and reattached the sensor with gel instead of getting the correct $2 gasket.Speedy fixed the car in two days and that's only because I had to go get another throttle sensor while he went to get a new gasket and hose. The price was great and the customer service was even better. I'll definitely be back. My girlfriend and I were about to throw in the towel. Thanks again!
