I bought a car from Richmond Automotive on Saturday. The car was listed as rides and drives great. I took the car to my mechanic for an oil change today. The car required almost $4000 in maintenance and repairs to be safe to drive. Do not trust this dealer to give you an accurate picture of the vehicle you are buying. Also do not expect timely service. Have a mechanic look at anything you are considering buying from them. They do not offer any garentees to make or cover repairs or allow you to return a vehicle you have evaluated after purchase. Buyer beware

I bought used 90k miles driven Nissan Altima 2007 last year, I am driving 100 miles every day for work commute. Since last year I have been driving my Nissan Altima i.e 36000 additional miles with no issues. Thank you Ali @ Richmond Automotive

Bought a car from this dealership and started having problems with the car after 2 weeks. Car was losing oil at an extremely high rate. Took car back and was told that oil needed to be changed, something about the mechanic wasnt performing tasks as required. Was continually reminded at that time that car was purchased "as is". After 2 more weeks, car was extremely low on oil again. Took car to a specialty repair shop and was advised car was using oil and needed new motor. Had purchased a warranty, but the warranty company would not commit to cover the repairs until motor was torn completely down and then they would decide. The cost to replace the motor would have been more than the car was worth. Dealership advised that car was driven prior to our purchase. If that was the case, the condition of this car had to be evident to them. And the warranty wasnt worth the paper it was written on. Traded the car after owning only 2 months and took a hugh loss. Buyers beware of this dealership and the warranties that they sell.

After reading couple -ve reviews i was little confused to go there, but they had a lot of good reviews too so i decided to do there. i did met Ali and he show me few cars. i found him very honest, and straight-forward he told me good and bad thing in cars and if car has any issue he was telling me too. i dont know why ppl put the bad reviews on this dealership. i end up buying a car these and car is soo clean and price was good too. good thing is that like other sales man.. he dont pressure u to buy car,thanks Ali

All I have to say is WOW. I was looking at vehicles with my son and looked at quite a few at different dealerships before "stumbling" upon Richmond Automotive. We went in to inquire about an SUV that my son saw online and Ali gave me the specifics without pulling it up in his computer which was impressive (in most of my experiences, the sales team didn't know much about the vehicle). I asked about a different vehicle.....and he AGAIN ran down all specs to me. We decided to take a test drive. After test driving the vehicle, he addressed all issues and concerns without hesitation.........absolutely NO PRESSURE was felt during our visit...and we walked away with an SUV and was VERY happy with it!! Ali is very professional and takes his time......very nice to work with.

It s really nice to go to a used car dealer that isn t pushy at all, and is very upfront and thoughtful. They also do repairs on all vehicles, so they have a wealth of knowledge about the cars on the lot.

This place is horrible!!!! Bought my first true foreign car from here everything was good for a month and then all the sudden left and right things keep breaking and now I have put 2,000 dollars back into the car fixing it and have only driven 1,500 miles . So basically I payed close to 7 grand to get 1,500 miles off a 2006 Audi I totally got screwed I don t suggest anyone come here it s a rip off and they don t know what they are doing they didn t even fix something that would fail my inspection so basically they do illegal inspections and sell cars that don t pass on breaks, they might be hearing from my lawyer . Ali doesn t care abt anything accept making his money

Spent 5Kcash for car on 6/26/23. Didn't even make it home before it ran HOT! I know its bought as is; but dang they should at least make it to your home. Seller was not honest. Claimed he had just driven it to Fredericksburg with no problems. Buyer Beware! Now mo unexpected money to be spent. At least my husband knows how to fix cars. Some aren't lucky. The car for me is just to use to drive my dogs around. Update 6/29 took car to Master mechanic. It has a blown head gasket and needs new engine. Metal flakes found in coolant system; they filled it with Stop Leak. Once I heard this, I went straight to DMV and reported them. They said, take it right back to them. There is a 30 day lemon law. Their address is 5016 Williamsburg Rd., Henrico, Va 23231 On 6/30/23, I had two Henrico police officers to escort me back ino that business and witness me return the car not damaged by me, Gave him my mechanic report and his key. He wouldn't answer the phone since he took my money. Once returned, he calling me, come get ur money back. Called 3x, I had made clear I want my $5K+ returned. So, I ignored him just like he did me and I will get every penny back, too. That's what courts are for. I also reported to carfax because they are the ones assisting dishonest people like hem. No response back but no worries. Never know TV cameras may show up and say, Smile! Exposure is needed of this dealer. BUYER BEWARE and check BBB b4 signing all those papers he gives you. But, RUN elsewhere and not get a lemon. I returned a 2007 red PT cruiser so don't be fooled folks.

I purchased my SUV a few weeks ago. It overall runs smoothly. When we test drove the vehicle the A/C appeared to be working however it was not the case. You could feel it being cold but not blowing through the car. I called they recharged the AC without questions and sent me on my way. The problem persisted after 24hrs. I went on vacay and came back hoping it would get better. We noticed some things falling inside the car And the same problem. I took it to my mechanic. He stated EVERYTHING under the hood is working. I went back and Ali says leave it we will figure it b out and THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. The car was purchased as is but they stood by and did what needed to be done at no charge to me. Thanks so much. We stress how ready for these above 90 temps. Next update 3 months.

I found Richmond Automotive on the TruCar website. I was in need of the perfect first car vehicle for my college graduate. I spotted a 2007 Nissan Sentra with great mileage and updated maintenance. I drove many miles to see the vehicle in person. I met with Ali who greeted me and gave the rundown of the vehicle. I test drove, checked fluids, ran the ac and the rest is history. Ali is very knowledgeable about the vehicles he sales. The process to purchase was smooth and I walked away with a surprise car for my daughter! Thank you again Ali and the Richmond Automotive staff.

Me and My Father bought cars from here about a year ago They were both in OK Condition Until i drove off the lot the morning i started my car battery died, then I have to have my axel replaced a month later, After that I had to have my AC Fixed 2 months later because they put freon in the AC so it seemed to work when i test drove which cost over $400, Now my transmission went put today, and my fathers Truck Was a hybrid and we took it to Ford which is the manufacturer and they say it will be more than $13,000 to fix so ita basically totaled, Maybe this is just us but This Sales man has not exactly Suited my family so buy at your own risk!
