10/10 for this place! Came in to do an Emissions test. They were super friendly and communicative. We were there for about an hour.I had to bring my two kiddos in tow with me and I absolutely love that they have a cute little play area with toys and a tv. It helped keep my kids from getting restless and having to wait at a boring car place Thank you Piedmont Tire & Auto for a great and quick experience!!

Piedmont tire and auto services our cars and our daughters cars. We moved into the Haymarket area two years ago and was in search of reliable auto shop. After trying another shop, I am so glad that started taking our cars to Piedmont.They are extremely knowledgeable, I say as such as they have worked on our European, Japanese cars as well as our Tesla. They do great work and prices are very fair.I highly recommend Piedmont to anyone looking for someone to work on their car.

Good work. Seemed honest. Maintenance/repairs were done relatively quickly and stayed with the estimate they gave me over the phone. Definitely happy to do business here

Service was good. No complaints in that area. Will not be returning however. I m very particular about who I take my car to because finding a mechanic that I can trust is a hard task. I called to make an appointment for a specific day but the man who answered the call asked me if it was my first time and when I told him it was he insisted he could do it sooner. He told me about how long he s been working there and that he likes to take care of his customers, etc and then proceeded to tell me he could do it as soon as the next day if I dropped my car off that night. I specifically said that the only way I would be able to do that was if it was ready sometime before 1 pm and he said it wasn t a problem, he could have it ready by noon. Dropped off the car and no profile had been created for me (he supposedly did this on our call), had to go through all the information again. The next day, the car wasn t done until 5pm. Thankfully I was able to find someone to lend me their car for work, I travel for work so I had to take their car for 3 days which is far from ideal, and the reason I was so adamant about having my car ready at a certain time. It was my fault for believing and trusting him, I should ve just gone with the original date I had in mind, but still enough for me to not go back.

I stopped by after six on a Friday night, I just needed some water for my vehicle. They gladly allowed me me to use their hose for a few minutes. I know it s a minor thing but I appreciate it people are friendly and helpful.

So, I came be there today at 4:30pm to get my car inspected. They close at 5 so I knew I was cutting it close anyway. When I got there I got out of my car and walked to the door where I saw that they stopped state inspections at 1pm. This was my second attempt today so I was pretty frustrated and apparently it showed on my face as I turned back to my car. As I searched on my phone for other options two staff members came to my car and asked if they could help me with something after they saw my frustration. When I told them what I needed they tried to figure out how they could do the inspection but in the end they couldn t. This is one of those moments where it was the thought and attempt at great service that counts. I wasn t able to be helped by them today but I will highly recommend them to all of my friends in the area. Lots of places to fine work, very few show that kind of care for people, especially those that weren t even customers in the end. Thanks for making an annoying situation better and for the care and great service.

We moved here in 2020 and have been bringing both new and old car to Piedmont. We have always received excellent service and customer service. We recommend this place to anyone needing help with any type of car service.

This is a wonderful tire and auto shop! My tire 'low air pressure' light came on as I was on my way to a dentist appointment. I found Piedmont Tire and Auto on my phone and drove over. They took my car right into the shop. The repairman quickly found that the sensor needed to be reset. He did so using the buttons on the steering wheel. There was no charge! I was back on my way to the dentist. Happiness! I will go back to Piedmont Tire and Auto!

They saved me. I was in the area 30-40 minutes from home when car started acting up and every warning light came on. I pulled in and this very nice employee ran a bunch of tests, told me what was wrong and that I should be able to make it home ok. I did make it and I m so grateful to him and this place. I would 100% trust them to be honest and work on my car.

Went in for an inspection, it was a really good experience. Staff there was really nice and professional especially Tracey, she was very friendly. I had some really bad experiences on other places around the area but piedmont tire and auto is the place to be!

WE are very happy with piedmont tire and auto. They take care of all 3 of our cars and we can trust them, they never make things up and steal your money. We have had bad experiences with dealerships who do this and totally value having a place to take the cars where we trust the management! Alex has been especially helpful and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help us with an issue we were having with a KIA dealership out of state, where a family member is going to school. I can't thank him enough and recommend Alex and the Haymarket Piedmont location very highly!!!

Wow - I don t think I could say how thankful I am for the service here & the Owner John is the most kind & helpful person!!!I purchased my car earlier this year & within two months the rear back tires were completely bald on the outer edges it was scary to think I had been driving like that. I took it back to Koons Tysons Chevy Buick GMC where I purchased it & they told me when they replaced the rear toe links right before I got it, they didn t do an alignment so they did that & put 2 new rear tires on it.Fast forward 6 months later & I am noticing it s driving the same way it used to in the rain (completely terrible) & my daughter & I almost slid off the road one evening when it was raining. I was so scared to drive in the rain after this especially when I ve never been like that before & have never had any of these handling issues with any of my cars in the past. My dad was changing my oil & took a look at it & noticed my rear tires were doing the same exact thing once again, wearing on the outer edges!! I called Koons Tysons Chevy Buick GMC & told them about my tires doing the same thing & how dangerous it is becoming driving & I don t feel that they fixed the issues with what they replaced. They responded saying how they only cover first 3,000 miles because I could get an alignment today & then leave & hit a pot hole & it mess it up. I reached out to the Owner, John at Piedmont & explained what was going on with my car & asked how much it would cost to take a look at it & figure out what s wrong. (I got tires put on my old car here about a year or 2 ago & they had the best pricing & the service was amazing). He said they could take a look at this no charge & he got me in within 3 days! Turns out the rear toe link (that the dealership replaced right before I got it) was loose & this can cause the crazy driving in the rain & messed my alignment up also. I picked it up the next day & I am so relieved knowing this is finally fixed & I don t have to feel scared to drive my kids around.I will 100000% always recommend this place!!!

I have used this location twice now. The first time, I had an oil leak and they took it same day and fixed it right up. Today I dropped it off for breaks and they called me continuously for issues they were finding. My truck is 11 years old so it was no surprise I needed extra things but the communication was much appreciated so I knew everything ahead of time. I havent had that with other shops. I will most definatly be back, but hopefully not too soon. Lol. Thanks everyone!!

I was having issues with my tire and had to Google the nearest tire center to me as I was trying to drive. Piedmont came up in my area. I called them upset over my tire losing air in the middle of a snowstorm. They told me to come in and they would have a look. They fixed the tire. I have to honestly say though that ever since I got the tire fixed I've had a strange metallic clanking sound from that area ( which was not there when I took it in) and I am currently looking for a mechanic to look at it

I have never in my life been so impressed with any auto repair business ever . There was some miscommunication as to what my insurer would approve . Long story short , additional work was done and instead of undoing the extra work ,they discounted some of the additional costs and we compromised on the difference so that I could leave as a satisfied customer .Amazing business and manager . Would highly recommend them .Service: Tires

The crew at Piedmont in Gainesville have always been exceptional. Very friendly and professional, and what I really appreciate is they don't try to nickel and dime their customers. They share observations and suggestions about what the customer should be aware of without forcing a sale. So, thank you for that!

brought my Ford F250 there for an EGR filter and valve replacement. Truck had over 300,000 miles on it and they treated it like that. They replaced all the parts in a matter of a few days start to finish. While the truck was there, they noticed that an injector was acting up so they replaced it too. All of the service was a fraction of what Ford wanted. The tech even gave me a free alignment! Highly recommend. Five stars all around. I have been using both locations for a decade.And these reviews complaining about places to park!? are you serious? Can you move your a$$ from one side of the parking lot to the other? they are busy for a reason with all due respect. Thanks guys.

Once again, a stellar experience with Piedmont. Alex took excellent care in diagnosing my car s issue, and fixing it the same day. The team is courteous, professional, and actually treat you like a person rather than just a number. I felt the attention me and my vehicle received was an above average and it keeps me coming back every time. Oscar was also very helpful as well. They are in so many ways a local mom and pop shop with good people running the business. Thankful to have them as part of the community.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Top notch place. I travel about an hour to visit this shop. Each time I need tires, I call other places closer to me and each time, Piedmont makes it worth the drive with just a phone call. Staff are friendly and professional.

Took my vehicle In the part they said it needed they said could not be purchased. Towed to dealer it was the battery. My vehicle sat there for a week I paid a diagnostic fee for nothing they were totally wrong. Very upsetting. Very poor service

The Jeep ain t much, but it s mine and I love it. Big thanks to John Filippone who has an amazing team at Piedmont Tire And Auto of Haymarket. They have communicated every step of they way while navigating the craziness of extended warranties for a transmission and other items John even called multiple times himself to make sure I was caught up. Can t remember the last time I had customer service like this. Five Stars Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Vehicle Inspection, Transmission repair, Auto battery maintenance, A/C installation & repair

I went to Piedmont tire several days ago for a tire rotation. I waited longer than I anticipated, but they were short handed. In any case, my tires were rotated and the service people were great. I have been going to Piedmont Tires in Haymarket and Gainesville for years. They're a great outfit and have always had good service.

Good place to drop off if you don t need your car for a day or two or make an appointment. Quicker than estimated. They didn t give me the runaround for my basic oil change.

I was unlucky enough to drive over a screw halfway through a two hour drive, but lucky enough for it to happen near this business.They took my information quickly and professionally. Their waiting area was very nice, with recliners (!) and a charging station, but I did not need it long. I was on my way, good as new, very quickly.

I had reached out to them a couple times but finally found the time recently to drop the car off where there was no rush for me getting it back. They said they were busy and provided me estimates based on that but said they would see what they could do. They were able to assist with a battery and an oil change. I got the car back within the timeframe they estimated and the price was very reasonable. I usually assume most car shops are busy and with their good service I can certainly see why.My only minor complaint, which is more a joke, is that my car clock ended up 5 minutes earlier so until I realized the issue, I was running a few more minutes late than usual.Services: Auto battery replacement, Oil change

I've been a customer here for a couple of years now. I typically get good customer service from the front of staff. On this day in particular, I had a very unfortunate experience. Writing this review, I will most likely sever my ties with this service center.I brought my Corvette in to install new tires and new tire pressure sensors. I was first a little taken back when the price over the phone was more than the price at the door. It was still much cheaper than the dealer so I accepted anyways. ($375 -> $474). I was there on time at 10am and did not get my car back until 2:53. Not sure why it takes so long for this particular service. If you were thinking of waiting in the lobby for your next service, I'd recommend switching to picking up later.My biggest concern is when I got my car. I took a picture of my odometer prior to the service and it had 54,595 miles. When I got it back it now had 54,616 miles. A 21 mile difference. I have lots of friends who work on their own cars. Including my uncle who is a mechanic himself. They all agreed that 21 miles of a test drive was excessive. I called Piedmont and asked them if test drives are what they usually do. If so, how many miles is one. She answered 2-4 miles is all they need. When I told her mine was 21 miles she was shocked and told me to hang tight so I can speak to a manager. The manager said they needed to do a test drive and check the sensors properly. That he knew the tech who worked on the car (this means nothing since I don't know anything about him). All research done on my end prior to this conversation led me to the conclusion that he was covering for his friend. For whomever ripped my corvette along the highway. 21 miles is like traveling from Haymarket all the way to Chantilly. Does that sound like an appropriate "test drive" for this service?New tires get balanced using a special machine. Generally, a test drive of around 5 to 10 miles is often considered sufficient to ensure that the new tires are properly installed, balanced, and aligned, and that the tire pressure sensors are functioning correctly. During the test drive, the mechanic may pay attention to factors such as tire performance, steering responsiveness, braking, and the functioning of the tire pressure monitoring system. This allows them to assess if there are any immediate issues or abnormalities that need to be addressed before returning the vehicle to the customer.To the owner, feel free to contact me.
