My car was making this vibrating/rattling sound for over a week, and it seemed to be getting louder. I called their shop and they told me to come by the following day and they'd take a look.We took it for a drive around the block (it was only making the noise when I was idling) and said it sounded like my heat shield was loose.He crawled under, and my heatshield was indeed loose. He removed it, and the entire thing took 20 minutes.Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.I would recommend. They seem to be quite busy, but they'll help you out!

Very shady place. I asked for an oil change and state inspection. They put in synthetic oil without asking what type of oil I preferred. They resolved the oil change price and then didn't charge me for the state inspection. Why not charge me for the inspection? The reason was that they didn't do a full inspection. They never took two tires off of the car as required by law. One can easily tell when a tire has been removed from a car with dirty wheels. Finger and hand marks all over in the brake dust. They told me it failed for leaking rack and pinion and a bad control arm. They didn't look into why it was leaking but gave me an estimate for a whole rack and pinion replacement and for the control arm that included a ball joint assembly as well. Totaling an estimate of over $800 of repairs when they couldn't explain why it was needed. That's three strikes in one visit.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Kevin and the Orlando Auto Repair team-they are absolutely amazing!Our vehicle had broken down on our daughter while she was at school and we were unable to drive it home (back to Philadelphia). I noticed how great their other reviews were and gave them a call. Kevin didn't hesitate to help us out, he got the vehicle towed to the shop and got us an estimate within days. He called me daily with updates on the timing of the parts and service, they were extremely honest with the price and allowed the vehicle to sit with them until we could get down to pick it up. Kevin even called the following day after we picked up the vehicle to make sure we made it home safely and the car was still running well!Thank you so much Kevin! All the positive reviews are accurate, they treat you like family and are incredibly timely and accurate- couldn't be happier with our service.

They were very friendly and helpful. They were able to take me the same day I called and fix my car in only a few hours. The price was very reasonable and afterwards they explained to me that they tried to fix only what was necessary and that my car should not have any more problems and should run better than before. I felt very confident in their service and will be going back in the future for the quick, friendly, fair, reasonable, and worry-free service. I'm a young female college student and felt like I could trust them and knew more about my car and the way it runs after it was serviced.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Transmission had trouble on my way through the mountains on vacation. I called MANY different shops and they were scheduling 4 days or more out. These guys were able to get me in the same day. They fixed the problem AND told me about an upcoming issue with my rack and pinion. They came to the waiting room and explained everything they were going to do to fix my transmission as well as the upcoming issue. Their customer service is EXCELLENT!!! Their work is GREAT!!! Plus, their rates are REASONABLE!!!

The guys at Orlando's are fantastic. I had repairs done at 3 others shops in the area and was never satisfied. They are extremely reasonable on prices and know exactly what they are doing. Kevin was professional and very easy to work with. I will bring my truck back there any time. 10/10 best around! Thanks again.Update- Kevin and his guys just did two separate jobs on my truck. Again can t say enough. This is the best shop in Harrisonburg.

Best mechanics I ve ever had! They always do quality work and they never over charge. All the times in the last year or so I ve had to have my vehicle fixed and have maintenance, and I ve brought it to Orlando s auto body. Kevin was nice enough to pick me up when my vehicle was finished since I lived only a few minutes away! They always work with me when I call to get things done as fast as possible. If something goes wrong, Kevin is quick to let you know and does very well to keep his quotes. They were able to basically rebuild the top half of my engine in a quick time for a great price, working after close to make sure everything was done in time for a trip I have to take. They back up their work and take care of my vehicle with care. I would never want to bring my vehicle anywhere else! Kevin, his dad, and everyone that works there are not just amazing mechanics, but amazing people as well!

I don't think I would be exaggerating to say these skilled and caring mechanics saved my LIFE!!!I had traveled 2 days to Harrisonburg from Wisconsin to visit a granddaughter and was ready to drive another 2 days home, but my brakes sounded like they were grinding.When I called my mechanic in Wisconsin, he told me to find a reliable and recommended mechanic here to have them checked before I left.As it turned out, my vehicle would NEVER would have made it home.Kevin and his crew spent 2-3 hours into the evening repairing them so I could be on my way!The amount he charged was more than fair!!What a complete pleasure it was to have had this shop recommended to me! They were so personable and knowledgeable and WILLING beyond what anyone would expect!! I am so grateful to them!!!

This is the only mechanic shop I would ever consider taking my car to. I've had my car towed beyond the tow limit just to have them work on my car.Anytime I've had any questions or issues with my car, they have always treated me great! Very friendly, super helpful, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg for repairs. Very fair prices!

Best mechanics around!Will treat you like family. Neighborly and kind, fixed my car for me within a very short time frame because my husband and I share a car.Both Orlando and Kevin are extremely courteous, gave me the best price on parts and labor I could find (....and believe me, I called around and checked!)Being new to the area and having only ever had bad experiences with mechanics before who over charged me and weren't nice about it, it is a relief to have someone so trustworthy and reliable in my own neighborhood. Very professional and nice. My sister was in an accident while driving my car and busted the headlight. We bought a new one and took it to several places who all said they wouldn t put ours on and we had to buy a new one with them. This place agreed to put out new headlight on for a much more reasonable price than other repair stores. About a month later my car wouldn t start a few days before I am supposed to interview for a job and I took it here again and it was diagnosed and fixed in just a few days. Great prices and excellent work! Would recommend.

I highly recommend Orlando s to anyone but specifically to anyone looking at reviews to see which shop to trust. Search no longer you ve found it!It can be tough finding a shop that doesn t swindle you and makes your experience great from start to finish. Kevin has time and time again gone out of his way to make sure my experience was exceptional. A job that he charged me $800 for Firestone wanted to charge me over 2k. While my car was being worked on Kevin provided me with transportation home and back once my car was ready to pick up. It s the big things, like honest pricing, and communicating what is going on with my car and what needs fixing, as well as the little things such as adding a few needed quarts of oil, that shows this company goes above and beyond to put their customers first.

I came here when I began having issues with my '06 Prius a couple weeks after buying it from Twin's Auto Sales, and Kevin was very honest on what the problem was with my vehicle. He took his time to explain how the dealer had over adjusted my rear brakes, making the problem far worse, and possibly painted over old drums. I was very upset about what the dealer had done, but Kevin and his crew were able to fix my brakes with a few hours before I had to go to work later that evening! Pricing is very fair, and is willing to work with you. He will even go as far as to provide you a ride back home or pick you up if you have no other transportation (as long as it's a few minutes away). Very happy with this crew, and will continue coming back if I have any other issues or need maintenance!

I got quotes from other places to change out my radiator for $600 or more. Orlando's charged me half that and fixed it the same day I called within a few hours. Kevin seemed knowledgeable about what he was doing and was accommodating and efficient. I highly recommend!

Kevin and his family and I go back when I barely had a beard beside the point. The most honest sincere people I know they keep their word and show with the amazing job they do. Kevin is by far the ideal role model on how mechanics need to be. honest sincere and care and the price is more than fair. Anybody need to get the fix done and RIGHT go to Orlando repairs

My boyfriend and I go here everytime our car has trouble, they are good of what they do. They get things done and i am pleased of how well they fix my car. They are very polite and respectful. I love that. I recommend people to come to Orlandos auto repair.

I came in on a rainy day after my car's condenser and radiator were heavily damaged. Kevin and Orlando worked hard to replace the parts, even offered to drive me home after I dropped the car off. They worked late into the night and after business hours to make sure I had a working car as soon as they promised. This is customer care that you would never find at a large auto shop chain, but at a small business that values its community.

My son has taken his 2007 Altima in for repairs twice in the last year. The first was an Ignition problem, the second was a brake repair. Both times the problem was correctly diagnosed and repaired within the same day. The cost of the repairs we're more than fair, and the guys at Orlando's are great to work with.

I legitimately trust these guys. They won't try to upsell you, they don't talk down to customers who don't know exactly what's going wrong with their vehicle, they're happy to answer questions and offer car advice, they know what they're doing, and they work really hard to get it all done. Highly recommended.

Got new front brakes and rotors, got an oil change, and transmission fluid change, all done in less than an hour, and their prices are great, HIGHLY recommended this place, best place to be
