I came in this morning for a car inspection and the woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful with answering questions. I was in and out within 30 mins. The guys working on my car were very respectful and funny!! I ll be using them while I m at school here in Harrisonburg. Thank you guys!!

This was the first time that I had ever been to this automotive place. They do one heck of a business. The lady behind the counter appeared to be friendly and very knowledgeable. They will be getting our business from now on.

JMU student whose car needed emergency repair. Moyer Automotive was able to diagnose, communicate the problem, and repair the car without any added stress. I will not hesitate to call them again if needed.

Been going to these guys for 10 years, and 10 years they've treated me right, fairly, and kept me and my kiddos safe and sound on the road!! I Highly recommend for car maintenance or repairs Moyers is the best!!!

Thought I was dealing with a trust worthy company! Well to my dismay an 1800 later it was a very hard lesson learned. I took my car to get the clutch fixed in October of last year paid around 1480$. Had to take it back after getting it for a leak an loose clutch. Had to bring it back again about a month later to fix the leak again. Well in October of this year the clutch master cylinder Argus blew a bolt. I called a they stated due to mileage an that it was a year later the part was not under warranty. So I buy the part a they charge 221 labor an said they fixed it. I pick it up an on the way home the clutch becomes so loose that I can barely shift. Once here I pop the hood an wow I get stuff happens but the clamp had pulled off the reservoir hose ok I put it back fill the reservoir an still no tension on the clutch at all till almost ti the floor. I call immediately when I get home left a message no response. I call in again an the response I got was the boss did it himself an that he test drove it an it was fine lol jokes on me cause it was not. She said she would have him return my phone call. No call back at all. I don t get off work till 6 they close at 5 so I couldn t take it in to let him see.. so I was hoping to make an appointment so he could fix whatever it was. Well end of story I had to take it to another garage this is my own personal experience but I definitely would not recommend.

My son took his car in for a safety inspection and they told him he needed new pads and rotors. I d just replaced the pads a couple years ago so got them checked again at a brake specialist who said they were fine. So it looks like Moyers was trying to charge me $400 that wasn t needed.

I called Wednesday night and they were able to schedule a time for me to bring my car in for inspection on Friday. I went with my dog and everyone was so friendly. They took my car in at exactly the time we had scheduled and I took my dog for a walk at the giant park they have next door for the 20 minutes it took to do inspection. We were on a cross country trip from DC area to San Diego when our engine ran hot enough for the light to come on. We added oil and 15 miles later it did it again. So we looked up the best mechanics locally and this place popped up. We slept in the car and waited for them to open to see if they could fit us in. Not only did they fit us in but they were done by lunch and had ordered an extra part for us that didnt have to do with the truck. They also gave us options but we chose to do a whole new radiator because of the distance we were traveling. Definitely worth checking out if you are unfortunate as us with traveling!

My car just stalled out and needed towed to moyers. Once there, It took around 3 days for them to get to it, which is understandable. However, for a new battery, 2 breaks and 2 rotors, the cost was almost $900, which I found rather high. As always, they were super friendly.

Great service, trustworthy, and unbeatable value!These guys are absolutely awesome! From the moment I made my appointment, everyone I interacted with was very friendly and courteous. I set an appointment, and they were ready to take my car on time, and got me through in no time! They're very trustworthy, never pushing any un-needed repairs on me. I actually asked them about replacing my windshield wipers, since I knew they were old and getting a little streaky. Instead of just taking my money, they actually told me they felt like the wipers were fine, and double checked with me to see if I was having any problems with them! Their prices are also super competitive, to boot! I'm never going to go to anyone else in Harrisonburg for my automotive needs!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my vehicle to another shop first and they said I needed a new motor, got a 2nd opinion at Moyers and they correctly diagnosed my vehicle with a bad tensioner! Moyers Automotive saved me A LOT of money and they made it so easy! Karen at the front desk is absolutely amazing! Her customer service is awesome and I feel she made sure I got the best deal I could! I will be using Moyers for all my car needs from now on, highly recommended!!

Got a quick and easy inspection from Moyers. Super honest people with great friendly service. Have only heard great things. They don't try to add on extra fees, and they'll make it up next time when we use their services again.

Run by the nicest people! Got my car inspection done and windshield wipers installed for a great price. Didn t even feel like I waited due to the friendliness of the store owner! 10/10 recommend for all of your car needs :)

Brought my moms car and my car here for state inspection. Moyers did the inspection professionally and efficiently. Set up an appointment ahead of time and waited inside. I did my inspection in the middle of the month and did not feel rushed at all. Moms car passed no problem (60k) but mine had a third brake light out. They offered to replace it at a very reasonable price. Otherwise we both passed. Shoutout to Karen and Mike for making it a pleasant experience. If you need a VA State Safety Inspection, come to MOYERS AUTO

Okay so far. They have worked on both of my cars for both problem issues and maintenance needs. I have felt treated fairly. The office woman is stellar. I am about to call and schedule an inspection.Update: the office woman is no longer there I am told. I would have brakes checked elsewhere if you have a problem. They checked them for me previously when I was complaining that I could feel them "grind", was assured that they checked all four and they were "perfect", and today..a very short time later I am told I need new fronts! I am leaving with a rejection sticker. I do not mind getting new brakes, I mind that they apparently did not check them well the last time.

I'm beyond happy I called around and stumbled across this place! Incredibly nice staff to make you feel your in great hands! This meant alot. To me because I don't live in Harrisonburg and neither do my parents so it was nice feeling welcome and safe to have them work on my car! Highly recommended!!!

I was referred to Moyers Auto by another local reputable auto repair business and was extremely pleased! The receptionist was an asset to the company and actually knew about cars too. They were very reasonable in cost, knew what they were doing and got the job done well and quickly, with a free safety inspection thrown in. An A+ business!

The staff at Moyers Automotive are great!! They are willing to work with you and have many years of experience. They do great work and won't make up problems like some others around. I recommend them to anyone needing service.

Moyers changed radiator and valve cover gasket and changed oil. I drove car 30 miles and it quit. There was a red warning light on dash after the service (not before service). I informed Moyers of the warning light and they said not to worry. It appears that the engine is shot. They are being completely defensive and unhelpful.

Started out ok. Bought sons Durango. Got no play. 685.00 for a radiator. Guessing son needs a new truck. Won't ever go again. Peace out. Got money to blow? Go to moyers. 700.00 ac unit has to be replaced again. 1 yrs old. Thanks moyers!Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

I've taken my Infiniti to other shops for little things and always have to take it to moyers to fix what another shop couldn't or thought they could fix. They're honest, hard working and easily the best shop in the burg. If they cant do it, they could probably refer you to someone who can.
