Everyone at this dealership is helpful and friendly. It is easy to get an appointment and easy to get through by phone to any department without waiting. Upon arrival for an appointment, the Service Advisor guides through the process for whatever the required procedure; from the smile with which you are greeted, the respect received by keeping appointment times and updates given along the way, to the time the keys are delivered back and being escorted to your vehicle. All questions are kindly and thoroughly answered and explained, all charges completely reasonable. I love that this dealership is owned and operated by Veterans. One cannot get better service, nor be in better hands, than those who so love, and courageously, skillfully, and honorably served in defending our Country. I am extremely happy to have access to this dealership for taking care of my vehicle, and for the assurance and peace-of-mind it provides.

Nice dealership--clean and pleasant. Our salesperson, Javan Jackson, was a pleasure to deal with professionally as well as personally. The manager worked hard for us to get the deal that we had as our goal. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!! Unless you want a car that will blow up under a 100,000 miles on it. Our family car has been here for 6 MONTHS with no hope of it getting fixed. Since it got dropped off it has sat so long the tires are flat and the rotors are rusted up. They have not once called me with an update. I have always had to call them. Do yourself a favor and take your business down the street. Wouldn t recommend this dealer to anyone.

If you are in need of a new or used car stop by harrisonburg hondui and see James Staton. He is the best salesmen we have dealt with when buying a car. We have bought two vehicles from him and, the most recent one was for my mother in law. He was great and patient with her. James took his time to test drive four different cars to find the right one for her. The car had to be found and then come from a different dealership and brought to Harrisonburg. He was awesome and kept us updated along the way. We are so grateful that he is also able to help us at both Harrisonburg hondui and Harrisonburg honda. He is definitely the perfect salesman when in the market for a new or used car. We will definitely go to James for our next car. Thank you James for everything!

This dealership sold me a $15k plus car with defective paint worth almost $7k to fix. They have refused to fix the issue citing I m out of warranty. Even though I ve gone through corporate they will not fix it. Any other company replaces, repairs, or reimburses when they sell a broken or defective product. Not this sorry excuse of a dealership.

I had a great experience buying at Harrisonburg Hyundai. They had the SUV I wanted at a very good price. Tony made the process very easy and quick. (I financed through my bank and did not have a trade-in - so can't speak on those). I feel like Tony was very energetic, pleasant and helpful. Everything he said he would do, he did with a smile - that doesn't happen everywhere. Some dealerships act like , take it or leave it, as if they are doing you a favor. I would recommend buying here - the prices seem very good and the whole team will treat you well. They have a solid reputation and now I know why.

03/03/23 I purchased a 2013 Chevy Tahoe at Harrisonburg Hyundai.03/13/23 10 days later I reached out to Harrisonburg Hyundai concerned about the vehicle. They advised me to take it to advanced auto before coming to them to see if they could get a code reading on it first. I took it 2 different places that both told me there was no power to OBD port. I let H.H know what they said and they asked when is the soonest I could bring it in to be looked at. 03/17/23 I took the truck to Harrisonburg Hyundai to be looked over. 2 hours later, The service department told me it was a misfire code and that sometimes that happens after a deep engine/car detail. In this moment I assumed they fixed the fuse and got an accurate code reading since they told me what code pulled up.A few days later the truck was what I could best describe as stalling. It never completely stopped, but while driving up a hill it felt like the truck was not going to make it.Before taking it back to Harrisonburg Hyudai I went back to advanced auto to have them run another diagnostic test. This is when I found out that there was still no power to the OBT port. In the same moment, I realized that I was misled by the service department at H.H. about ever getting a code reading at all. The fuse was never fixed, therefore they never got a diagnostic reading at all from my Truck.That same day I took the truck in to Harrisonburg Hyundai Service department once again. The service dept manager told me he ran the code reader and nothing came up, and that he test drove it and it felt fine to him. I was lied to directly to my face once again. I then told him that I had just taken the Tahoe to advanced auto before coming to Harrisonburg Hyundai and there was no power to the port and then asked how he was able to run a diagnostic test with no power to the port? He insisted that he had run the diagnostic test. We ended the conversation with me again expressing concern to even drive the vehicle. He said he didn t notice any issues at all and how they even drove it up a hill since that s when I first noticed the issue.5 minutes after leaving the service dept the truck started shaking and what felt like loosing power again. Something was very obviously wrong and I didn t know what else to do other than get a second opinion. I called a Chevy dealership and let them know what issues I had been noticing and they told me they would be happy to check it out. It was once again confirmed there was no power to the OBT port. The transmission fluid was also burnt and overfilled. It became very clear after the test drive that this was a bad transmission issue. I first noticed issues with the vehicle just 13 days after purchasing. If the diagnostic test would have been properly run the first time and showed transmission issues, I would have instinctively returned the vehicle. I understand transmission issues won t always show up on a diagnostic test. However when something that would have taken 15 minutes to fix the first or the second time I brought the vehicle in with issues wasn t done, that only leads me to believe the worst. Did they knew about the transmission issues, and didnt replace the fuse as a way to cover? Maybe extreme, but at this point I feel bamboozled. I was very hesitant to go into a dealership alone as a woman to purchase a vehicle. I reached out to the General Manager and he provided me with a suitable vehicle while my truck spent nearly 3 months in the shop getting a new transmission. At the end of the day I was taken care of in the sense of not having to worry about renting a vehicle while mine was repaired, however I will never bring my truck back to Harrisonburg Hyundai for any kind of service, as that trust was broken very early on. I also will not receive my first 5 oil changes for free since I don t feel comfortable bringing my vehicle there. They did reimburse me for the first oil change, but told me moving forward it would have to be at a Hyundai location when I was initially told it could be anywhere.

Easiest car buying experience. I love my new Hyundai.Tony was wonderful and I felt zero pressure I have had salesmen in the past come along the test ride and talk my ear off, turn the radio up so loud I can t hear or pay attention to the car. Tony wasn t like that. He helped make sure the car would fit me and my growing family. Allowed me to test out car seat placement and see how the stroller fit in this brand new (not even mine yet) Tuscan. I am so glad he did, that gave me the peace of mind that me and my two littles would fit safely and comfortably.Thank you Eric for working with me on my trade in!The only thing is I wish they did do was search a little harder to get me the best rate possible. So I m left on the back end trying to make sure I got absolute best interest rate. However I will take ownership normally I come with a check in hand so that was my bad. But overall extremely happy with my new car and the experience that came with it

Brian Hicks made the car buying experience amazingly easy. Never thought I would buy a Hyundai, a hybrid, in Harrisonburg (I live in NoVa), or would enjoy the process. Love the feel and features of the car. And unlike other dealers, Brian was helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy. He didn't make me talk to a "manager" after my first (or second) test drives. When I told him I had limited time to pick-up the car, he worked to collect as much info in advance and got me in and out with the new car in about 30 minutes!Thanks again, Brian!

Always late. How does it take 2+ hours to do an oil change? I had two hours before my appointment, told them when making the appointment that I had to leave by a certain time and was assured it would be complete well within those limits. Reiterated at drop off that I had to go in two hours. Went out 30 mins till the time for me to leave and was told everyone was at lunch and wouldn t be back until the time for me to leave and my car was in the air they forget to reset your system, give you a sticker that tells you when your oil change is due probably to make it harder for you to keep it within warranty, and don t reattach your bumper when they said they would, If I didn t have free oil changes as part of my contract I would not be coming here

I just bought my new Hyundai Santa Cruz from Harrisonburg Hyundai... I am absolutely so happy with the service they provided me. They went through leaps and bounds to get us the vehicle we wanted off the lot. They were all so kind and patience with us as we made phone calls for paper work we needed. Thanks Harrisonburg Hyundai for being amazing at your jobs and being sooo kind.

We needed an emergency repair while traveling and they were able to squeeze us in despite being booked solid and short on help. They quickly made the repair and got us on the road again for this holiday weekend! We (and our two pugs) really appreciate it! Thank You and Merry Christmas!

They will bend over backwards to take care of their customers. Nobody has a magic wand but they still seem to be able to deliver the magic. Thank you guys!!

If you re ever looking to buy a Hyundai, this is the place to do it! Christopher James was absolutely incredible with helping me purchase a 2023 Tucson. He was very honest and knowledgeable about the vehicle and services. And lifetime state inspection for the vehicle is a great plus at the dealership.

My son and I had been looking for a car for a while. A couple weeks ago we met Javan Jackson whom helped us out tremendously. We explained to him what we wanted and needed. Then last week he pulled through with a great car at the right price. My son was able to drive away with reliable transportation and a hot ride. My son and I were happy with Javan's service and the Hyundai staff also. I have owned many Hyundai vehicles and highly recommend their services.

Worst customer service ever. I came in for a recall. When I first arrived, everyone at the desk stated at me like I wasn't supposed to be there. I had to initiate conversation. Then they asked if I was dropping off or waiting. I said waiting but I was running to grab a quick lunch down the street. I was told it would take about an hour. I came back 30 minutes after my appointment and went and sat in waiting room. The woman at desk saw me there and called other people. After 2 hours I went up to counter to see what was up. I say there for almost 5 minutes while mechanic's just talked about football, looked at me rolled their eyes and ignored me. At this point I had no interaction besides minimal check in. Finally woman comes up and I am about my car, she says " oh is been done for awhile. We didn't know you were here. " I was literally at a table right in front of her, only 2 other people waiting. She left me there for an hour+ after my car was done. And I got the most pathetic insincere apology ever. Someone with severe back injuries and a huge scar on my neck to prove it, just left to sit there for no reason. Funny part, we were getting ready to buy a car from their Honda building. Test drove and all. Our business will never be here again! I've never seen such unprofessional. I've never rated a business a 1 star. I think this one was generous!
