Ian Young went above and beyond to ensure we had a great car buying experience. The process was streamlined but still catered to make sure both my wife and I were welled informed and happy about our decision and investment. My husband and I were ready to consider a newer vehicle since ours had 157,000 miles on it. We were interested in a good used car and also wanted one just a little larger that the Ford C Max which we had. Ian was so helpful in finding a Ford Escape. We were not in a hurry as we really liked our current vehicle. We were treated well, and I felt respected as a woman in the process, which is not always the case!

I was taken care of by Jay at Ford. He was so helpful, and determined to help us locate the perfect vehicle. I did not make it easy, but Jay spent hours searching, found us a vehicle, and stayed two more hours after closing to ensure that we d leave with our new vehicle. Very personable, kind young man! 10 stars.

This was the first time I was actually comfortable and well taken care of in a car dealership! Ian Young was the salesman that helped me throughout my first car buying experience, and he was great! He was very helpful and knowledgeable in different features the truck had and all of the paperwork I signed. Couldn t have made my experience any smoother and easy! Highly recommend going to this dealership because all of the staff was so friendly and Zach, the manager, was also super helpful and understanding!

Had the detrimental and necessary Ford Focus (DPS6 trans) clutch replacement. Albeit an expensive repair, Doug was absolutely a charm walking us through the entire process and helping myself and my other relatives (who were not present) with the repair. Ford already had the brand new clutch for the DPS6 so there was no lag on ordering parts. We said we were ready to fix it by Monday I believe, got it by Thursday. Took them about a day total to complete the repair. No further issues with the car so far.

Highly recommend!! Staff was super helpful and made us feel very heard with all of our wants and needs! Our salesman Jay, made the process so smooth and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Zach, the manager, was also very helpful and understanding! We had a great experience!

Everyone was friendly, the servicing and oil change was pretty quick, and there was plenty of comfortable seating. The sales people on the floor were very friendly as well, greetings with a firm handshake even though I wasn't even there to shop. Harrisonburg Ford is a very solid location run by a nice crew.

I bought my F-150 new at Harrisonburg Ford on 2020. The sales experience was fine but I soon experienced what many in town have told me. The service department is tough to deal with. I saw this a few times from service writers to even the cashier who had a terrible attitude one day. I quit having my truck serviced there. I am now having an issue with the motor making a rattle noise when I start it cold. It is a known issue for the 3.5l ecoboost engine. It is a phaser rattle. I left my truck there overnight and the tech said he didn t hear any issue. I left it for a second night and was told the same thing. I was then told if they don t hear it they can t do anything. The next morning, I started my truck and it rattled as stated. It is so frustrating to be basically called a liar. I have video taped the issue now and have set an appointment with another dealer. I will never buy from or get service from Harrisonburg Ford again. I have owned almost exclusively, Ford products. It is sad to see the quality go down hill. I will explore other brands next time.

Took my 06 escape in due to passenger side electrical issues. Spoke to Douglas and explained that the speakers and locks weren't working. I picked up my car 2 days later, he told me there was an issue with the wiring harness and he went ahead and replaced the affected wires. $313 total and nothing is fixed. Not a single issue I brought the car in to get fixed was even affected at all. It seems like he would be able to test these things after "fixing" them to confirm the job has been completed. I'm not sure if it's due to laziness or incompetence, but I will never return to this embarrassment of an establishment for anything.

I went in and talked with Harry, told him what I needed and it was taken care of. He showed me a few trucks and the deal was done. I came back in the next day and was helped by Danny to finish the paperwork. The whole buying experience was fast and easy, which I do appreciate! Got a great deal on a great F-150 truck. When I came to pick it up Blake, a sales associate there, offer to bring it to my location for me. This was very much appreciated and showed a lot of professionalism from him. Over all my buying experience was great. Will be back for another truck soon!

I was taking a long trip to Florida. I had work done at a different dealership that was done incorrectly. This dealership took me in right away without question immediately service to my vehicle and did it the right way and got me on my way. They were absolutely amazing.

The folks at Harrisonburg Ford Service were tremendous!!! They helped me out in a critical time of need. While towing my camper, about 4 hours from home and 6 hours from my destination, my F150 started having major transmission issues. Doug in Service was excellent, put my mind at ease and he and the Service team were able to get me safely back on the road in only a short few days. And to top off the fantastic service, they had their shuttle driver get me back and forth from the campground while waiting on the repair (I don't know his name, but he was also exceptional going above and beyond). Thanks again to everyone at Harrisonburg Ford.

Bought cross bars for my roof rack. Ordered tgrough them while on vacation. Came in 24 hours. And when i strughled getfing the part installed, bad screw thresding, they helped me get it fixed. Nice people in service.

Unfortunately this has not been a good experience! I entrusted them with my car for 2 bigger issues and they fixed neither. One would have been very simple for them to verify but they obviously did not. The other would have been confirmed with a test drive but they just turned it back to me with no perceptible improvement. Lesson learned on my part!Once we get these issues resolved I will be taking my business elsewhere. This includes all subsequent vehicle purchases.It too bad that the sense of caring and urgency aren t greater at this dealer.

I had an appointment scheduled for 8am and I came at 8am. At 830 this still had not taken my car in. It was a small job so I checked with the desk if they would be done by 9, they said that they will see but they cant promise, they took my car in at 840 and it was out by 930. I'm disappointed that they didn't have the appointment at the time that they said they would, and I had move my day around it. Why don't you just schedule me at a time where you can get the work done?

From the general manager down to the salesperson. No one in this dealership will tell you the truth... When I came to pick up the car it was not even cleaned. The car Porter shook me down for 25 dollats. And this was the least of it.

Had a great experience working with Blake Cash to purchase a used vehicle. We showed up unannounced, immediately went for a test drive, and two hours after that we d negotiated a fair price and were driving off the lot. Blake kept up with us afterwards and made sure we had everything we needed; can t recommend enough!

If you want a 2018 Ford F-150 Diesel that rides like a luxury car but pulls like a horse, go see Megan Smith at Harrisonburg Ford in Va! This truck will do 32 mpg at 55 mph! Megan lied to me and said these truck would do 28 to 30 mpg, lol! This truck has exceeded my expectations and with a life time power train warranty, I have nothing to worry about. Megan Smith is the best car sales person I have ever dealt with, you really need to go see her!

This has been the worst experience! Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to be lied to. 7 weeks and my car is STILL sitting there. Poor communication as to the work (lack of work) being done to the car. Provided unrealistic timelines. First two weeks, then when you call to check on the vehicle, another two weeks, then next week, and another week. Communication is lacking.It s obvious after reading other reviews that this tends to be standard practice for the service department at Harrisonburg Ford. If you have a warranty issue, get ready to bend over and take it. You will never receive any communication and will only receive subpar service at best.If you want to be treated like the unwanted family member at Thanksgiving, bring your vehicle here. Otherwise. STAY AWAY!

Update #2: have taken our car here several times for electrical issue only to be told it isn't an issue just an incorrect code. Finally took it some where else and found out a major module for the battery is bad and the hybrid battery may have been damaged due to it not getting fixed because Harrisonburgh just kept deleting the code and not fixing the issue!Update : Went back for service. Service team was decent and upfront with stuff. Asked about a military discount t and was told "I think so" and then when I asked again when checking out, I was told with attitude by the reception girl that "yeah I think, but it's too late you already have a total". Most times discounts come me off after everything is totalled and either way sounds like a quick thing and it was just a questiom.i would rather been politely lied to, like I'm sorry no we don't currently offer that than the attitude when you're sitting in the building with the invoice that isn't paid yet.Original:Most of the sales team was great! We got exactly the car we wanted and the warranty is unbeatable.There's one sales manager, Mike, who needs to quit the juice and see a counselor or learn how to meditate.Tell them you want to work with the other sales manager, Dave, he's honest, works hard and is upfront with you about everything. Bonus, he won't freak out and yell in your face (spit flying out of his mouth) in the middle of the sales floor just because youre upset about a computer error (that'd be Mike).And you can't beat their warranty.
