Drove an hour out of the way to have tires installed that I purchased online and now Costco is refusing to install them because my wheels are not exactly factory spec. There was no disclaimer saying you couldn t have aftermarket wheels and they even sell aftermarket wheels themselves. Thought I was getting a good deal but instead got turned away and told it s because my wheels were not 17 factory but instead smaller 16 . Then told I had to stand in line for in order to receive a refund. The whole process took over an hour. Very disappointing and unexpected from Costco. I do not recommend you purchase tires from Costco if your car is not 100% factory, which is something they should make clear in the beginning anyway.Took this straight from the Costco website:Regardless of the vehicle you drive, high-quality rims and wheels are essential for getting you where you want to go. Worst tire center ever, refused to mount tires on aftermarket wheels, then said they d mount the tires but not install wheels back on car. Drove an hour out of our way to be told they cannot install due to policy. Buyers beware! There are zero notifying details on the website advising customers of that.

The workers are absolutely incredible!! My tire popped last night and my wheel got completely messed up and they helped me Call every single place that they knew to find a replacement for my car. Once we found one I went to pick it up and they replaced it for me!! These workers are so helpful, kind and so amazing. They all need a raise!!!!! Thank you so much to all of you for all of your help and calming me down when I was so stressed out.

It was a very good experience. They were very accommodating and quick.Be a little patient when ordering tires not in stock.. If your tire isnt in stock then it can take up to a week to get them in. But, for the price savings it's worth the wait.

Went in for an alignment a few weeks ago. It was early in the morning and as I was wandering bleary eyed through Costco I was surprised to see that the tire guys were calling me after only 15 minutes. As it turns out, I needed new tires. Now, this is not in the way of tricking the lady and telling her she needs something she doesn't, this was the real deal. About 500 miles earlier my mechanics had suggested something similar. And so my alignment turned into special ordering Michelin tires on sale.Two weeks later I drove down from Northern Virginia to have the tires put on my car. I had an appointment and it all worked out really well (although I think they forgot to call me when my car was done; after almost 2 hours I wandered back in to check and my Subaru was ready to go. I had become lost in thought while waiting in the Costco cafeteria area, writing a weird short story and then doing some PhD research. Who knew the Costco cafeteria area was such a good study spot?). I prefer driving two hours to visit the Harrisonburg Costco when I need tire stuff because the staff are patient, smart, and good.

11/25/2019, just had 4 new Michelin tires installed, had an apt. , was taken in on time & was out in an hour. Travis & David are the best, We live at Smith Mountain Lake, and love Costco, wish one would be coming to Roanoke Va.

The tire folks here are phenomenal. They saved me over $800 today! They're not on commission and are just honest and competent. It would be hard to ask for more.

Travis is always very friendly and helpful. Got my tires here in May 2017 and coming in for tire rotations and air checks is very convenient as I am able to shop in Costco while the work is being done.

Knowledgeable employees who give good advice regarding tire selection and maintenance as well as being willing to patiently answer questions and research what tires are available to order for specific needs.

Great service and prices. You get a better deal on tire services if you purchase your tires from Costco. Must have a membership to utilize services, but well worth it.

The guy tried to help me but the policy was" NO used tires changed". Just trying to save a buck. Sorry can't give a good review!

A great place to shop, they have an experienced staff that really goes out of it's way to make you feel welcome. Must be a good place to work since it doesn't seem like they have much turnover.
