European Autohaus, a 2nd generation business, has been my "go-to" since moving to Harrisonburg 21 years ago. They have taken excellent, high quality care of ALL my cars, currently a Mercedes Benz ML350, BMW Z3 and my conic BMW 325iX. Their overall knowledge, notably well accredited and experienced mechanics, very fair market pricing, NO push to up-sell anyone, respectful customer service (as a single, older woman with a modicum of knowledge about my cars, more than some - less than others, that is huge for me! I abhor the "little lady" treatment.) As soon as they began taking care of my cars I made the decision never to own a DD (daily driver) or 2 that European Autohaus does not service. They also provide 1 stop shopping. Need your car inspected also? Handwashed & waxed ready for the showroom floor or that big night out? Tires? They have exceptional comprehensive services and contacts to take of all your car's needs - just drop your car off and pick it up when all the servicing is done. They are that good, with very friendly and jocular conversations at the front counter. (Talk to Jonathon, 2nd generation owner - jocular is his department.) Hands down the very best in the valley for foreign cars and a shop I have full confidence in without question. The absolute best service on foreign cars. Honest and helpful. Do not hesitate to take your vehicle here. No fancy facade or stylish waiting room, so the prices are very reasonable. Can't say enough about them.

I was driving my parents Mercedes ML350 and my first day back in Harrisonburg it broke down on me. I was able to get an appointment a few days later and they had the car fixed the next day. Every experience I was very pleasant. Auggie and his daughter were wonderful! I haven t had the best luck with honest, reliable, mechanics in the area, but as a female I feel as though I was well taken care of! Auggie also took the time to explain everything to my dad and worked with him from a few hours away. It was less than $400 for a synthetic oil change and to fix the wonky sensor. If I ever have car troubles again I know where to go! Check these guys out for reasonable priced honest work!!!Service: Auto maintenance

European Autohaus--my son is attending school in Harrisonburg. I was able to call from out of town and have the car towed to their shop. They recommended the tow company . They were able to look over his car diagnose and repair the issue all in the same day, all in a few hours actually.I was a little nervous trying to address the problem from out of town. They were kind and honest and didn't take advantage of me. Highly recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I came in left my car as it was not running right, I was told, I need to take to the dealer as I needed a software down load and they could not fix it. They did not charge me which was great, I had to travel 4 hours round trip to dealer in Richmond, take off work who said I needed a new turbo, which is what I told John, the owner when I dropped it off. I brought here because they had installed the last turbo. I was charged $170 to tell me what I already knew, they did not have the part so I decided to stay local and have them install, I called them on Tuesday from the dealer and asked for a quote, no return call, called today, 2 and a half days later and I am told I need to talk to John off today, I asked if I could make an appointment and drop off so they could order parts and fix, I was told the car lot was full and I could not drop off the car. Because of this, I have now been out a car for two weeks. I won't be back I called a local competitor they answered the phone, made an appointment in one call.and I am dropping off today.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

If you don t have an car 10+ year old or older and doing basic stuff like a oil change. I do not recommend coming to this old shop. At first I thought they was good people from recommendations. I never ask them to lower there price unless I was getting a lot done only because I wanted it done right. I know they was over charging me because I know the people I got recommended wasn t paying that kind of price. They will always say it wasn t nothing wrong or it s suppose to be like that. If you can t do it just say that so I can go get it checked somewhere else. I told them clearly to not change my light because I had to resolve other issue first and didn t want them to make it worse. I go to pick up my car they did it anyways and replace a the brand new light I already have. I only ask for one in the first place but I clearly told them to hold on doing it. They broke the covering of it and wasn t even going to tell me. Then instead of telling they would fix it, John in the front desk tried to justify it, there is no justify it. You broke it so you pay. He gave me the labor back and told me to not come back. He said it was my lost, I told him no it s your loss because I m the customer and bring big money. I m on top of my maintenances. So if you have any work done from there or they told you it wasn t nothing wrong, you better get it check else where before something else go wrong. They re lucky I am already getting that piece replace or I would make it a bigger deal. I will never go back there again or recommend anybody. My head light bulb went out on a road trip, and I was afraid I would be sitting around a shop for hours or get over charged as this shop was probably my only option. but...These guys saved the day!They had the bulb in stock and were so kind as to squeeze me in before lunch in just 15 min! We were on a trip south on Rt 81 when an oil light came on (Audi SUV). I called then to see if they could check the car since adding oil did not help. They were booked on a Friday afternoon, but they spent at least 10 minutes on the phone with me to help trouble shoot and help us decide we could make it 3 hours down the road to the next Audi dealer safely. Great to get friendly help while traveling! Based on the phone help I would stop there for car repairs if needed.

I have taken my 2013 VW CC to these guys several times (brakes, service, etc.) and have gotten great personal service at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.5 years later, have continued to use Bosch Car Service on a regular basis. Still highly recommend. They are experts in German cars and always do any necessary repairs at a very reasonable price.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I wasted my money going here. I had a problem with my cam and they kept replacing things that aren t the issue. Then they said the check engine may still come on even though it s fixed. They did an oil change and put the wrong filter in. Our Volvo V50 alternator went kaput on our move out to Colorado. They ordered the part and the next morning we were good to go. Great fast service at reasonable prices. Aguie (the manager) was a lifesaver. Thanks!

I couldn't be more pleased. I had the engine in my Audi A4 replaced and it has not ran right since. They took the time to look into all things that could be related to my problems and found problems that 3 other mechanics were not able to locate. My car is running so great and I couldn't be so relieved that this garage is in my area. I will be a regular customer from now on. Great customer service! Great mechanics! THANK YOU!

I have taken my Saab 9-3 turbo here a few times and every time they greet me by name and make sure I'm comfortable (they've even made me coffee). My car is always ready in a timely matter, even when multiple other places couldn't find the problem after having the car a week or more. They know how to work on european cars and charge very fair prices to do so. I'm going to miss this place when I leave Harrisonburg.Work doneOil changesEngine troubleElectric/computer issues

Absolutely the BEST car auto repair there is!!! They do their jobs extremely well but also honestly care about their customers! I ve had Susie my Jetta for idk over 5 years..and with a used car repairs were going to happen!! Just about every part under my hood lol. The owner will not return your car without knowing it is fixed right and could charge a lot more money then he does!! Look no more Auto Haus has the answers!! Absolutely the BEST!!

Only car shop in town that would work on my Saab. For that, I'm grateful. They did wonderful work, sparring me the pain of the over priced shops around. I got the information I needed to maintain and properly treat my cars misfiring. Great experience here

The staff are very personable, helpful and patient. Agust�n (Auggie) is the friendliest and most helpful mechanic I have ever met! He took the time to pull out a diagram of the AC system to help me explain what I was talking about, and he gave me great, useful advice. They also have straightforward, no-nonsense prices. I highly recommend.

Replaced a angel eye bulb 50$ but ruined my adaptive headlight module. Due to installation error and moisture in my headlight, 1500$. Took it back for them to correct, all they did was erase error code after driving 5minutes right back on. Horrible customer service and service, should know that incorrect installation of headlight cover would cause moisture and ruin a expensive part.

I don t recommend that you go to this shop, I spent $850 for my car problem, I have a BMW has a problem with the engine starting , they told me that you should replace the starter, they replaced but the problem not fixed, the problem wasn t in the starter, I just lost money, after that I went to another shop and they found the problem was a sensor it s cost me total $97

Augie & John are the best! I own an old Beamer & they keep it running in spite of a slew of quirks. They explain things very well to include ranking of a range of risks and alternative solutions.
