Cannot thank this store enough, especially the technician (think Jacob H) who helped our son in a crunch last night with a dead battery and going the extra mile to replace it. Your concern for him when he was most stressed was amazing. We are truly thankful for you and your team.

My experience was awesome GIAN VIDAL-BALC�N went above and beyond to help me get my battery installed and get my vehicle fully functioning. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my visit. Pleasant as can be I was able to get a battery replacement without hassle and everyone was so knowledgeable and considerate. Thank you again to management for hiring such a great staff.

Gave the correct brake pads, that were in stock, and uncoded my Check Engine light in friendly efficiency. If your coming from the west in traffic(from 81) there are many lights and a forced u-turn. Local demographic is diversified and one(at least) employee was armed. Felt safe in the store.

Have to give a shout-out to Jake and the rest of the team. Jake has spent a lot of time both in the store and the parking lot helping me with a few nuances with my wrangler. Each time I ve been in there he s always in good spirits and eager to help no matter what. Out of all the auto parts stores in the burg I have found myself in this one for anytime I need help. Thanks a lot guys. You re keeping me running

Worked with an employee named Jake and he was outstanding. Very courteous, fast, and knew what he was talking about. Helped me with my issue and more while making suggestions. Not pushy at all and overall made my experience very easy.

Rarely do I leave negative reviews, but being a long-time Advance Auto customer and Speed Perks member, I was very dissatisfied with my experience at this location about 1.5-2 weeks ago. Every once in a while, Advance will deeply discount a lot of their car care products that do not move off the shelves. Well, I came to buy a lot of those on sale and although they were all marked with red tags on the shelves, the items rang up at the register @ full price. The guy (who was very polite) referred to the woman who seemed to be in charge that evening and she said "the tags have not been updated yet, those are not the prices any more". I asked if she would honor those prices since she and her employees had not updated them, and she said they will not do it. I just wanted her to honor the prices marked since she had not taken care of them in time, but would not honor this location's prices despite them being lax about updating it. Had a whole basket full; and bought none of it after that. A good manager needs to honor their mistake for customer goodwill, instead I was met with an argumenative manager. Not happy with the experience here at all.

DONT TRUST their free battery and alternator test took my car to have them tested and was told the battery had 12v and was good then tested and said alternator was bad, spent $600 bucks of a new alternator a few days later my car died again, so I got the car tested elsewhere turns out battery had a bad cell and did have 12v but only had 75 CCA VS the 875 CCA it s rated for. Now have to spend an other $200+ bucks on a new battery because of these geniuses

Wanted to upgrade my battery with winter coming so got a Optima red top size 25. Was suprised when the battery was sat on the counter covered in dust. My purchase was on 10-1-2020 and the sticker on the battery was 8/19. Asked them to note it and im saving my receipt but no problems sofar. Guy that rang me up said due to the price they just don't sell fast, yet they carry very good ratings and qualities. Cant complain about the battery or the honesty. But advance might want to rotate their stock more or put out some promotions to get these put out for the good battery they are and worth the price.

The guy named TB working there was such an awesome person after I asked an obvious question that would get shot down and "go to the dealer" but he asked me to grt my manual and tried to help troubleshoot.Awesome dude!

Pretty horrendous service. Employees attitudes are really, "I don't care" and they're very reluctant to do anything. It was like pulling teeth to get them to install a battery, as they said it was "cloudy" outside and could storm. It's not like I have a BMW, it's a 4runner...a battery install takes 5 minutes. Would avoid this advance auto parts, and go to the one on South Main instead. Managers attitude is also "IDGAF," probably where the employees get it from.

My car is almost brand new and the factory battery died. Hyundai refused to replace it and nobody had my battery or had it at a price I couldn't afford. After helping me exhaust all options, the manager here, I cannot remember her name because I cannot remember names for the life of me, got me a battery I could afford. Aaron, the guy who installed it, was extremely patient and kind. The entire staff was. I cannot thank them enough. I'm in tears over this. I can actually get to class tonight and work tomorrow. Thank you guys so much.

A very long story, but let me just say that Jonathan, Timmie and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for me. I can not appreciate them more and I highly recommend this location!!

This is the second time that the staff has been unprepared to help me with my order. The manager, I believe is Juan, doesn't really care about customer satisfaction. I ordered something online that WAS IN STOCK ON LINE and I come to pick it up, and he says, sorry, we're cancelling your order it's not in stock. I asked if there's anything he can do, he said sorry i'm cancelling it you're gonna have to go somewhere else. Thanks Juan! I''ll do that! Won't be shopping at this advanced again, really disappointed as the advanced in my hometown has great service...this one, not so much.

I've been shopping at this place since I moved here 20 years now. Only a few are still there, like Mike Smith for example. One of the great ones.. LolBut the process are airways better then most, but his concern for my satisfaction is most important to him. That makes me proud to be of customer of theirs..Thank you Mike...

If I could give them zero stars I would. Today I was sold the wrong bulbs for my front turn signals. When i went to my auto shop to have them installed they informed me that they were the wrong ones but that they had the correct ones there. So I let them install the ones there. I called advanced auto and informed them of their mistake and asked them if I could return the bulbs. They told me that I could only exchange them after I had already paid for the other ones and had them installed. The associate I talked to was extremely rude and condescending. I hope in the future that Charity (the associate), takes responsibility for her own mistakes and makes appropriate reparations.

One of my wiper blades broke before leaving Mount Jackson, and I was fortunate enough to get to Harrisonburg before it really started raining. I brought the broken blade into Advance expecting to buy a replacement. The lady at the desk took a look at it and found a small clip to replace the broken part. She could have charged me for an entire blade and I would have been non-the-wiser. Thank you so much for your awesome service - you were my super hero today!

Bought a headlight light bulb that was incorrect, the mechanic opened , it found out it's not the correct one. Took it back to the store almost 15 minutes after I bought it and the manager refused to exchange it. She said if I picked it for you I would have exchanged it but since you picked it up I can't return it. I ended up buying the correct one and keeping the wrong one. Not sure what kind if policy is this. My suggestion if you need headlights bulbs go get it from Walmart I found out its $3.00 cheaper and if you had any mistake like this they will definitely return it back no questions asked. Specially if it was 15 min after you just bought the incorrect item!

Completely rude woman working there. She refuses to serve cars outside until the line inside is clear. I stood in line for my turn, why should I wait for a never-ending line to clear before you just do a simple check engine light scan?? Isn't that part of your services, too??

Called ahead and they had the parts we needed in stock. When I arrived shortly after, they refused to let me in the door. They turned away an entire parking lot full of customers because it was snowing. Had I been told they were closing when I called, I wouldn't have driven across town in the snow.Obviously they need to get home safely too, but they were more concerned about themselves than their customers.

Pulled in at 8:59 and these guys let me get a tire plug kit and let me borrow some plyers to get the screw out of my tire even though they were locking the door as I walked up. My tire had 8psi in it and I got it fixed and over to sheetz for some air. Thanks guys.
