I came into this establishment on Monday November 13th.The sign said they opened at 730 so I waited in my car for about 10 minutes. I noticed a guy behind the counter but still did not get out of my vehicle until 731. When i walked to the door, the guy behind the counter looked directly at me and walked to the back. I waited outside for about 2 more minutes and watched as he stood talking to the one the guys in the back whom I was unable to see. Keep in mind it had to be about 40� outside. When he finally came to the door, he seems as if he had an attitude walking up, unlocked the door and walked away. As a man, he could have opened the door for me but hey, not everyone was raised right. I walked inside, nothing was said and when I got to the counter, the phone rang and he immediately answered to service the person on the phone.By this time I am now running late to work, so I go outside to just put my key in the lock box. I personally don t like using the lock box but I had to get to work and my ride was waiting for me being that state inspections are drop off only.Once I left, I called the office and was immediately placed on hold. I waited about eight minutes before disconnecting. I called back again two hours later, placed on another long hold. I advised the guy I came by this morning and left my key in the lock box, he then told me that state inspections were not being done this week. Nothing was on the door that said this and if the guy would have serviced me when I first came in, I would had avoided going through all this mess. This was a horrible experience. This is the location near Walmart and you can also pull the cameras to see.Waste of my time

I went in for an alignment after I did some work on my suspension. My steering wheel was off center before entering. I paid about $145 for the alignment which was a little high but I didn't shop around either so I'm not sure on that part. The guy at the desk was nice and professional. The service was very quick, however after picking up my vehicle it seems like it was never adjusted. Steering wheel is still very much off center as it was before. If I weren't in a rush to go out of town that day I would've went back immediately.Edit: Went back in and they fixed the issue without question and were very apologetic.

Each time I go to have services done, it's never 100% fixed or a new issue occurs. I went to have an oil change done along with 2 flushes and when I picked my car up it was making noises, I went to have an inspection and I paid to have my air bag light fixed, it came back on a couple of weeks later, still not fixed, and this last time I had tire rod services done, and when my son picked up my car, my car was making a loud noise and they told him it's under the hood issues as if they weren't under my hood when I got the oil changed and flushes. I have been a customer for over 20 years and never had an issue until my past 3 services so I am very dissatisfied with their service at this point. They're costing me unnecessary money!!

I was very pleased with the service here today. I spoke with Morgan and she was was extremely courteous and professional. I dropped off my Honda for an oil change and state inspection and I felt like I was treated very kindly throughout the process. Morgan called to let me know the car was ready in just a few hours. I plan to come back to purchase new tires from them in the near future. Thank you Morgan and Tire Choice for excellent customer service!

This shop over charges a lot and if your a woman beware. They messed up a tire and it took 7 hours to fix it and no I didn't pay for the work. But they charged $1288.00 brakes and rotators way over charged and In 13 mts I had to pay to get new pads won't go back to this shop.

Absolutely poor customer service. I brought my car to be inspected around 9 am. 3 hours later and still no car. When I asked about the wait, the woman at the counter, Amanda, went to ask the person doing the inspection, he screamed that s why we tell people to drop them off and pick up before 6! When I asked if he was referring to me she stated he was just stressed . DO NOT GO to the Cunningham drive location. Additionally, if you re going to have people wait 3+ hours I would recommend putting a working tv in the waiting room or even just playing some music.

I took my car in for service at the Tire Choice#1054 1980 Cunningham Dr. 23666 for an oil change. The service manager that waited on me Amanda Jackson was very rude to me when i arrived at my appointed time. When I acquired about any specials she replied she didn t think so or she didn t know of any. she was not welcoming at all for her to be the manager. Once service was completed I did not received a phone call informing that my car was ready. I had to call the store myself and inquire if my car was ready. Once I got to the store to pick up my car it was parked in the back of the store, and she didn t even tell me it was back there, nor did she thank me for coming in allowing them to serve me. Instead of one of the service people bringing my car around to the front of the store I had to walk around to the back of the store to get my own car!! This is not good customer service at all, after today I will never come to this store again!!!! I will go where I can get great service for my money.

They were friendly enough, however the lady at the front desk said it would take about an hour and a half to change my tire and do an alignment. I've been sitting here over 3 hours now and not a word has been said to me, no updates given, nothing. Just left me in the dark for 3 hours and counting. Still here at the time of review, waiting for that tire replacement and alignment. I am paying good money for this, and the inconvenience of being stuck here for almost 4 hours should demand a partial refund. Edited to 4 stars because the mechanics did a good job, they also fixed an issue with my TPMS. This place has good service but you can definitely get screwed on time so make sure you have plenty of it.

My son's father took my car to them while I was on my honeymoon and was asked to do 3 things, oil change, new tires and to put new sensors in the new tire tubes. They didn't put the new sensors in the new tires and they found one of my rotors loose and didn't fix it. They let him drive off the lot and now my car is a safety issue until I can get it fixed. Don't trust them they can't do the job right the first time.

I don t understand my receipt at all! When I look, I m charged for labor and then it s discounted? Whats the point? Why are you charging me for some thing I amnot paying for? Shady!!!!!!!

Excellent service center! Amanda was very kind and courteous setting up my first appointment. AJ is an Amazing mechanic and always goes above and beyond with customer care and professional service. I was VERY impressed with his extremely high level of integrity and efforts to get me the best price possible as well as his outstanding and prompt auto skills. Thank You for taking such Excellent care of me and my high performance vehicle

Great service and reasonable prices. I have had my car serviced here 2x. I have done all of my own work in the past, and am very familiar with my cars. They have not tried to sell me on anything that did not need done, or overcharge for anything. Moreover, I have also gotten good advice from staff there for getting parts and services locally that they could not offer.Also, the waiting area in this location is relatively large, and there are toys to keep children occupied. It is also right by Walmart, so you can shop while you wait.

The staff was great clean store and didn t have to wait long for service. The oil change service came with a free tire rotation and they gave me a free multi point inspection. They are very friendly people and loves the attitude of the Manager Amanda.

Amanda was very professional and although she had no obligation to reinspect my vehicle on Saturday, she went above and beyond her duties to help a customer in a neededPosition. She is a testimony to her job and the community. Thank you Tire Choice for having her as a wonderful and dedicated Mangager.

Caught this place blatantly lying about a service that they said needed to be done. My state inspection was failed because they need to "clean and adjust" my rear brakes. Two separate employees lied and said that they took apart the rear drum to manually inspect the rear brake pad. When I went out to my vehicle however none of the brake dust on the rear wheels had been disturbed at all, even a light finger press would wipe off the brake dust .The employee proceeded to argue with me about the lie be was caught in in the parking lot. Dishonesty at its worst.

Wonderful service - provided clear details of what needed to be done for my car to pass inspection ( minor adjustements for my brakes ) and options for further service but didn't push anything. Did a tire rotation and balance, *and* inflated my tires to proper pressure without being asked to do so. Also very fast. I will be taking my car here for any future services.

Best service I've experienced. I took my Mustang in for it's state inspection and was greeted by the store manager, Amanda, who was quick to get my car in a bay and inspected. I was out of there in a timely manner and have been coming back to get my Mustang serviced ever since.

I'm from out-of-town and was pretty anxious about going to an unknown mechanic; I picked this place mostly because it was close to my hotel. I got so lucky: these guys are awesome! AJ in particular was great. He found my problem right away, explained it clearly, showed it to me, and I was out within the hour without breaking the bank! Futhermore this was a recurring problem that my mechanic back home had not figured out. I wish I lived in Hampton just to have a knowledgeable, honest, and friendly mechanic! Thank you guys, you made a stressful day so much better :)

I always come here for all my tire repairs. They all do great work, in a timely manner. Past 3 months, on 2 separate occasions, a nail/screw got stuck in the same tire. My luck. Brought it here and they fixed it quick! Both Amanda and AJ helped me out tremendously and on the 2nd visit, AJ even showed me the issue and advised me on what to do. Both were very patient. Thanks all! I highly recommend this Tire Choice on Cunningham in Hampton.

Amanda J is great and helpful. She explained to me the fees and services done. She also helped me apply for drive card and use it is after approved. The team did amazing job when changing the oil and changing two of my tires.

My check engine light came on the day before my trip and the only place I could think of was Tire Choice even though I don't link going there....But they new manager Derrick is SO AMAZING! Helped to figure out what was going on AND fixed it the same day. Now this is going to be my regular auto shop. Also he is very handsome and funny so the wait wasn't too bad If you're in the Hampton area this is the place to go! 10/10 would recommend

Great experience. Came in asking for a more all terrain looking set of tires and they ordered the ones I wanted at a good price.My only critique is the amount of time they quoted(1hr-1hr 30min) they ended up taking 3hrs... but they gave me a free oil change for the delay. But I would have preferred them letting me know it would have taken up to 3 hours since I had mentioned I needed to be back to work prior to the service.(had to let the boss know I messed up by trusting the service time)No hard feeling though. I just REALLY recommend honest service time quotes. I work in customers service and we usually quote past what we expect we can get things done. I would have accepted 5hrs and would have been glad to pick it up at 3hrs.

Recently had two of my vehicles worked on here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price point. I highly recommend as I will continue to use them for my vehicles.

Let me just say Derrick at Cunningham location was a breath of fresh air. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful and gave great energy from the beginning to the end. Ryan also was of great assistance to me yesterday and today when I picked my car up. As you know it can be frustrating when you re dealing with an issue with your vehicle and Derrick and Ryan provided nothing but the best service. Very impressed thank you

Friendly staff, got my car inspected no hassle no fuss, explained process and what needed to be done... 3 hours well worth my time and money!!! Been come here for years since they were Tread Quarters and I will continue coming here!!!
