This group of young men knows what they re doing to extend the life of your vehicle. Always treated with respect and understanding when I arrive. No worries, ladies and gentlemen, they will teach you all about your vehicle if you just take the time to ask.

I made an appointment for an oil change a couple hours prior and arrived a few minutes early. My car was serviced at or before my actual appointment time. Nile, the tech who oversaw my oil change, was informative, polite and suggested other services I needed in a friendly manner without being pushy at all. He answered all my questions without hesitation and the other tech working with him was very attentive as well. I ended up making additional purchases without feeling I was pressured into it. They showed me the dirty air filter and the new one they installed. When windshield wipers were presented because mine were a bit worn, I made a remark that all the ones I purchased in the past have been of poor quality no matter where I got them from. He assured me the ones they offered would work well and to come back if they were insufficient. It rained today and I have to say they worked perfectly! I was very pleased. I definitely would recommend this location and I was impressed with the customer service I received. I did find the services to be a bit pricey but the convenience and customer service made it worth it.

Every time I come here I always have a great experience! The service is always quick and convenient, also the military discount is so greatly appreciated. The team is always so kind, polite, and professional! There is always a positive vibe whenever I come in and the crew always has me laughing and smiling along with them. This is been my regular shop for oil changes for the past year, and my boyfriend has started using it too! Always a top notch experience for a great price!

Everyone worked together as a team. No attitudes. Great communication. Everything was explained to me with patience of what's was the best oil change for my vehicle. This was my first experience of someone else changing my oil without me leaving my car. I'll definitely be back!

Everyone there was friendly, efficient, and had my car's fluids checked. I appreciate that because I usually forget to check the levels on the little things. I really REALLY appreciated the bottle of cold water as it was very warm and I was having trouble breathing. I would recommend this location (Mercury Blvd in Hampton) to all my friends with an 11 out of 10 rating!

Very pleasant staff. Worked quickly and efficiently! Pleased to see a double-check on all work by senior staff and I left feeling confident that everything was done well. Appreciate that I could take oil and filter purchased elsewhere. Highly recommend this location.

I was very pleased with my service. The men there were very educated, professional and they made sure I stayed hydrated!! Yes, they gave me and my brother, who is a veteran, some bottles of water. Even the Manager Sincere came out and made sure Nile, Jerica and Woodrow gave me the best service. THEY DID!! That location in Hampton on Mercury Blvd has the best crew in my book. Great job team. Thank you kindly.I tipped them because I pay for GOOD SERVICE!! Please make sure you tip your service workers. After all, they work to keep us going....safely.Ms. Brie*

The associates were so nice and took me in right away. They explained what they were doing as they were conducting my oil change. I gain some knowledge on my car. Price is reasonable for an oil change. If I didn t say before, they were quick with my service. Highly satisfied and will be going back again!!

The service technician were very polite, by offering me water and ordering my air filter when the store did not have it in the shelf. I was provided with advice based on knowledge not just the price that was higher , which is what I asked for. So, much appreciated to the technicians .

Went in for an oil change and air filter change. service was super quick and the staff were awesome. unfortunately there were some issues with the work done. excess oil was spilled over the top and back of my engine, causing it to smoke up and fill the cabin. a little while into my drive, the engine seized up. upon inspection, the air intake hose was disconnected from the filter, and the ring wasn t even loose. i guess when they took it off they just ripped it instead of unscrewing the brace. no harm done thankfully.

First time going to the location in Hampton they almost messed up my car a month or so back. The cap from my oil change was loose and I ended up having oil spray all over my engine alternator etc. I called and was told that they had trainees and were unable to do anything but clean the mess they made, which they did a poor job at btw, so I went back and let them pretend to care (young boys and men) unprofessional at best. I don t know much about cars so I m sure when I went back for my clean I had lost a significant amount of oil that I paid over $100 dollars for but guess what not one of them checked the status of my oil and I was unaware at the time how much oil I had lost. So I go back yesterday and one of them stated I had no oil in my car and was shocked as was I but I can only think it s been like that since I went back to have it clean and my car was slow to tell me since I am getting it maintenance done there was a manger that works at the location in Newport News by the name of Tay who stated I wouldn t be charged for this mistake and he said this location is known for their mistakes but the shift changed and I WAS CHARGED $93 to have it refilled. They are lucky I needed it bad to not damage my car bc I would have never went back to this location and I promise you I will be sending the same information to corporate !! I would give this location a NEGATIVE - 3 stars and I will no longer be allowing these unprofessional uninformed young men work on my car ever again. This company should be ashamed of themselves and this is not how to make a customer feel valued after a huge mistake. If you value your car don t go here and I will have to do batter with learning and checking behind people I let myself believe I was in good handsService: Oil change

Amazing service. Super quick (maybe 20 mins tops) and reasonable price for the Take 5 Synthetic High Mileage. My car runs so much more smooth since the change. Ashley was transparent and offered numerous services to make my car better like checking the cab air filter complimentary with service. 10/10 recommend.

I stopped here because of the location and speedy service. I am hoping this was just an off day because it was not a pleasant experience. There were two techs , which one did not seem to know how to do anything. Ron was doing great and trying to get cars done in a timely fashion. The wait was about an hour and several cars left because of the wait time. Once I made it into the bay two other techs were on site but they did not appear to be on the clock. Overall , highly dissatisfied with this service, especially for the price.

First time coming here and had a great experience. Nile was very informative, helpful and funny! the whole staff was so pleasant. my oil change was fast and the service was so good that i (almost) don t care about how pricey it was lol. a bit higher than other places around but it might just be worth it.

Wonder job and didn't take too long. They have you stay in your car and wait to pull in. It went so smoothly. Would recommend using them to anyone looking for a quick and reliable oil change.

My service was nothing short of exceptional and it was all thanks to Jon and Nile! I arrived at 6:09pm and Jon immediately walked over to my vehicle and asked what services I needed. I am used to other shops closing an hour before their posted operating hours and turning people away, but he did no such thing. To some that may seem small, but when your car burns oil as quickly as mine does, that made a world of difference to me. Nile took his time explaining to me the different steps of the inspection and recommending maintenance for my vehicle. He made sure I understood why the maintenance was important and let me know what services were coming up. They worked together on servicing my vehicle and did not hesitate to answer any of my questions or concerns and put my mind at ease. You would have thought I was the first customer of the day! As someone who has frequented Take 5 locations often in the past year, I am happy to say Jon and Nile have won a loyal customer for their business.

I was not pleased with the service this time. They wanted me to pay before service was done. On my receipt they said the serviced my tires and cleaned the windshield. None of those things were done. I had to ask him if he checked my tires and he didn't give me a sticker with the mileage on it. No sure if I will return again.

They were wonderful and fast! I immediately was greeted with a water and a smile, carefully lead to the park zone. I asked if I could get my air pressure filled and they said they could do it as a part of the oil change! They were communicating constantly with one another and it showed ten fold in their effiency and teamwork. They utilized my husband's military discount, and I was out in a jif, regardless of how busy they were. I will be going back there every time :)

By the time I left the skid plate on the bottom was missing 7 of the 8 screws that holds in it place. I turned around immediately when I noticed the noises from the undercarriage, and they said they couldn t replace them until next week. When I took my car in I did not have any issues or was missing any screws to my knowledge until I left.We will see next week if they replace what was missing.

I have been here twice now. The first time I went within A week and a half I had to come back because my oil light had turned back on after being serviced but I had no oil leak under my car. When I got there they told me that my oil was very low, topped me off and sent me on my way.It wasn t until the second time I went, but I caught the mistake they were making while they were changing my oil. they did not have me turn on my car and run it to let the oil go into the oil filter. So when they showed me the dipstick, The oil looked like it was in the correct spot when in reality it wasn t because my car never ran after they filled my oil, allowing it to go into the filter. So again within another week and a half I had to go in town and purchase oil because when I checked my dipstick on my own, it was bone dry not a lick of oil was on it and I m lucky I caught it because my oil light never even turned on this time I ve tried to call the service number twice to talk about getting compensation for the oil. I had to go in town and purchase after paying $100 for them to service my car and it consistently hangs up on me.

Always class A service when I go to this shop for my oil change. They make you feel special and a very respectful crew. They also do a thorough inspection of your vehicle in addition to your oil change. Only to keep you aware of your vehicle status. I really like that.

I truly love and appreciate our Take 5 location. John is an awesome manager and the team is truly among the best!After an oil change, putting air in the tires and a coolant flush, I was having some overheating issues. I went back and explained what I was seeing, they rushed me to the front of the line, performed a second coolant flush and refunded my money. They were extremely professional, kind and apologetic.I will continue to go to them for my vehicle needs due to the fact they will make things right!

I needed an oil change so I came to Take5 to have one done. The person assisting me was polite and the service was good but when I took my car to have it serviced the VERY NEXT DAY they told me I needed an oil change. I told them I had just had one done the prior day and the mechanic told me that it was no way possible I had an oil change. I assured him that I indeed had one and he took me to my car and showed me the oil that was in my car. He pulled the dip stick out and showed me how my oil was BLACK and had me smell it. If I had not seen it with my own eyes I wouldn t have believed it. I was very disappointed since this was my first time visiting that establishment and I paid over $100 for an oil change. So they basically put oil in the car to top it off but did not change the oil. This was in the morning and they had not too long opened. This is unacceptable and I m very disappointed. I would advise no one to spend money here since they are irresponsible and don t care about the customers nor their cars.

I usually take my car here for service. The last time I went, any and everything that could go wrong did. I was frustrated and had no intentions of returning.HOWEVER, I needed a quick oil change and of course the light came on. So, I went back. There was a long line (all 3 bays, 2-3 cars deep). When I say everyone was working, EVERYONE was working. They operated as a team across the shop. They communicated with each other. It was an absolute different vibe. Nile (hope I spelled his name right), was the person I spoke with the most. His swag with the filters was appreciated. I didn't feel pressured to accept the upsale. We talked about my car as if we were friends speaking about the topic everyday. I'm not a car person...I can honestly say that this visit is why I will continue to go back. I am used to seeing teams work together. But seeing the entire shop be on one accord while tending to the customers in the bay, lining up to be serviced, a car being fixed in the parking lot, and another breaking down adjacent. With everything thrown at Take 5, I feel this type of service is why I will go back again.

This was the first time going to a Take 5. The greeting and water offering made me giggle as I ve never experienced that kind of hospitality for an oil change though it was minimal. Nile and the rest of the team really took their time to ensure everything was done properly and I would definitely continue to allow them to service my vehicle.
