Like many businesses during this time, this business is short of help. My Jeep ran hot so I took it in for repair. Since I live in Maine I wanted a reputable business which H&H Radiator is. I've known of the business personally for 50 years having worked in a service station up the road from there in 1971.They had trouble diagnosing the problem. The radiator was replaced which was needed but didn't solve the problem. Water pump replacement was suggested. I authorized the work and was told it would be another day's wait.Early afternoon the next day I got the call my Jeep was ready. It turned out the culprit was the fan. Much to their credit, H&H Radiator repaired the fan which lowered the price of the repair work. As far as replacing the water pump, that was done at a price that brought the price in close, but less than, the original estimate.I was treated VERY fairly. I've done some driving and my Jeep runs cooler than ever now. I highly recommend H&H Radiator and encourage you to be patient during this difficult time for so many businesses. They will get it right!

Joe is all over this business and is really a nice businessman. I was referred to him by Doug Miller at O'Reilly Auto parts in Yorktown to get my radiator radiator flushed after my refill coolant light had been coming on in my BMW. I was able to go in and they checked out my car in a very timely manner, diagnosed what was going on and had me back on the schedule with a part ordered for the next morning. The price was more than fair and my problem is solved without having to pay BMW service prices. I think I have found my repair shop now that my car is no longer in warranty.

Excellent work, excellent price, and knowledgeable people I was having some trouble with my heat in my Dodge Ram. They took their time with it and made sure they got to the bottom of the problem!!! Even offered me a discount on the work!!!

!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS !!! Paid $1600 for heating and A/C work. Had my car 1 month and neither heat or A/C is working after 2 days! Had another mechanic look over and part they said they switched out is OBVIOUSLY not new. AC dye is ALL OVER the top of my engine because there is still a leak and to boot they left one of my headlights unplugged. Very unprofessional. They take no pride in their work and they are LIARS. BEWARE!!!

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this is a family owned business. The gentlemen that work here provide excellent customer service (even to overly-emotional clients who are freaking out about their vehicle! )I normally take my car to my uncle (he's a mechanic), but he's gotten a bit older and it's too much for him. Even though my uncle didn't fix my vehicle, it still felt like I was taken care of by family.Their prices are fair. The work was completed quickly and the repairs were above reproach.

Super nice people, highly priced, and overall not as great as the reviews claim it to be. I dropped off my vehicle to be fixed and they tested it for leaks. Found a pressure issue and couldn t fix the problem. They knew exactly what part it was but didn t find the correct part to fit. Long story short they sent my vehicle home and charged us $280. My husband went to the auto parts store and fixed the ac for $30. It turns out H&H was going to charge us $500 for a $30 part and couldn t find it because they had the year of the vehicle wrong.

we was going to this shop when we lived Hampton we moved up denbigh an we still come for them to service our car. Trust worthy, know what they talking about. And I truly believe they give the best price shop around im 99.99% their price will be lower then other places

Very happy with my experience. No one could beat the price for the work needed. VERY FAST turnaround. I had a fog light out after the service which was never a problem. I took my car in after I picked it up and in 2 minutes my car was on the stand getting looked at. 5 minutes later the mechanic fixed my light and I was on my way.

My car was leaking coolant, we tried all we could to fix it ourselves. The folks here were EXTREMELY nice upfront and honest and reasonable. We found our new mechanic Thank you again

I'm new to this area and came by here because I had a side mirror that popped out of place. From the moment I walked in the door I knew it was going to be a great experience. Customer service was the best I've come across at a car shop. Very friendly people who have your best interest at heart. I have now found a new home for my car needs. I would reccommend them to all my family friends. I will be taking my car here and only here for any repairs. Its so nice to come across people who just want the best outcome for your situation. Loved it here!!

My AC started making a horrible noise and shaking my entire truck. I called the Ford dealership and it was going to be 150 just to diagnose it and they would nees it for 4 days due to a holiday weekend. I called H&H and they were extremely friendly and said if I dropped it off that night they would look at it in the morning. I received a call around 9:30am with the problem and price to fix it. They replaced my AC motor and I had my truck back by 1230. The lady behind the counter explained my warranty and that if I was out of town my parts were still under warranty. Also the gentleman that fixed my AC motor explained what caused the problem. I liked that he was open and honest and told me if I wanted to fix the other issue I could but that it wasn't hurting anything. Loved the family business and honesty. Thank you for the quick and friendly service.

Had water leaking on passenger side floor. They told me what the problem was, fixed it, and didn't charge me a crazy amount. The customer service was great, and the mechanic was nice and took the time to explain stuff to me. I would recommend them.

Joe at H&H is a top notch guy. I've had trouble with my Nissan Rogue AC for 4 summers now. I have taken it other places to have it looked at on multiple occasions, to no avail. Joe and his team diligently trouble-shot for several days until they found the culprit. Been running great for almost 4 weeks now! Besides their quality work, customer service is excellent as well! They patiently answered all my questions in the process and worked with me to ensure the problem had been fixed. 10/10 would recommend!

I took my car here for a power steering belt issue after being recommended this place by another shop. They completed the repair work and then told me there was more work that needed to be done on the car and told me to come pick it up right away. The technician was very vague about what was wrong with my car over the phone and the place was closed by the time i went to pick up my car. I decided to call them the next day to get some clarity of what was wrong with my vehicle. The technician on the phone said that my timing belt was at risk of breaking and they don't recommend me drive my car. seeing that I had already picked up my car I was not happy that they told me to come pick it up with such a severe problem without giving me a quote on what it would be to repair it. I then asked them to give me a quote to repair the issues and they said they would call me back. They called me back and I missed the call so I returned the phone call. They told me the person was busy and they would call me back. No one ever returned my phone call. I have since took my business elsewhere since it seems like they are uninterested in repairing my vehicle. This place seemed nice and friendly when I first went to them.

Excellent service, super friendly people and extremely knowledgeable. In and out in 1 day for my air conditioning issue. Very fair prices. I will definitely use them for all my future car issues....though I'm hoping there are few

Terribly disappointed. Took my boat heat exchanger in for repair. Waited ten days to get it back still leaking. After we took it back they said that they were not going to honor their work because that was not on the side they "fixed". charged me 250 dollars and referred me to the machine shop he sent it to. No new paint or acid dip done. unit was leaking worse than when i took it to them. Do not go to them unless you have no other choice.

Warrantied repairs. If you intend to drive your car on a cross-country trip, H & H Radiator is the place where you want to have it serviced. Local Mom & Pop business at it's finest.If it does not need fixing, they will tell you so (despite hearsay otherwise by the "mechanically declined").My family has trusted these folks since they first opened and they back their work. This place is about maintenance and repair done properly.You will get what you pay for. To borrow an expression from another profession; Good repairs are not cheap and cheap repairs are not good. H & H is where I take my mother's car to have it serviced. You will have your car repaired in a way that you can depend on and you are supporting the local economy.

We were driving back to Ohio after vacation when our ac went out and they managed to squeeze us in fast even though they were extremely busy. Physically showed me what they found and didn't try to take advantage of me, I had to talk them into doing more than they wanted because they didn't want me to spend money on something they weren't 100% sure I needed. AC blew cold all the way home, thanks for everything!

Awesome prices and friendly service! I needed work done with my radiator and thermostat stuff. I don't know anything about cars and pricing. I took it to one shop and they wanted over $1500. Took it here and service was $900. Always going to go to this place when I have an issue.

Wouldn't recommend here took my car apart and couldn't put it back together and couldn't tell me that he just kept saying u going 2 have 2 get it towed.which didn't make since cause I drove the car there. They put my car back together with zip ties and throw the rest of parts in my truck.

Friendly owners. Post repair ($1190.00) my A/C worked fine the first week.Went to turn it on two weeks later no A/C. Will have to take it back. Will have to wait until I can get my leave.

Very pleasant staff. Local auto mechanic shop that specializes in radiator and A/C repair. Took my daughters Jeep to them fearing it was the heater core. They told me they can try flushing it and that should solve the problem, which it did. I will come to them for future auto issues.

These guys saved my car and did it fair and cheap. I was on my way home to KDH and my radiator hose literally blew right as I pulled into the parking lot. Joe jr ran over and helped me get everything shut down safely and walked me through all the possibilities. I left my car with him overnight and he did everything he could and got me home for less than 60 bucks. If these guys we're closer to where I live I'd go back without a single hesitation!

Had an engine replacement done there approximately 6-years ago on a 98 Dodge Durago 4x4 (5.2L engine) and network they have in place from local engine resource, to shipping, to installing it was on point and you pay direct to the resource, not H&H themselves (except for the actual engine install). Not to mentioned, H&H will recommend you change out an existing old part for new in the event the part is accessible with another part is being replace at no additional labor cost. And by obtaining the part directly from an Auto Supply Store (Autozone or NAPA), you (the owner) maintains the warranty of the part. I've had numerous of other small repairs (ball joints, struts, radiator) that I would do myself, but time would be of essences...And, they've never disappointed me, much less the wifie. Pricing is always fair or better. I'll be a life customer as long as H&H is around.

Great service, put my girlfriends dodge dakota in for a diagnostic on the a.c., and bad fan. Turns out it was a bad compressor. Yes the price was high to hear, but labor was the cheapest thing. A.c. isnt cheap, and quality work isnt cheap. But in this case it was. Joe was honest about costs and possible rises in prices for unforseen problems, but luckily only the original problems were the only problems. They could have lied and got more money, but they're honest folk and do honest warrantied work. Definitley will return.
