After initially posting a very unpleasant review, I was contacted by the GM and they worked with me on a fair offer. I returned to the dealership less than a week later to pick up my truck. At the time they were having their holiday party. They invited me to participate and I spoke to the GM, Paul London. This goes to show that sometimes your reviews aren't always correct. I recommend visiting this location for your next Chevrolet. You might have to be patient but they will work with you on a fair deal.

I took my 2015 Chevy Equinox for all maintenance since I brought it. On March 4,2023 I had oil change and tire rotation. I asked if other routine maintenance was need and I was told it was taken care prior. I was let down by First Team. This weekend I gave my car to my daughter because she needed a more reliable vehicle. She went to have it inspected in Maryland and I was shocked when she told me cracked ball joints on the front..That placed my life in danger and it would have really hurt me if something had happened to my daughter and grandchildren.I was preparing to buy another car from them until I got the call.

Mike Bunch and the red team are so kind and accommodating. The clock on my 2014 Equinox displayed 12 hours standard time, 12 hours military time. Mr. Bunch had it set correctly within seconds. I'm out to the dealer four days later to replace a rear bulb. Since I had an appointment for an oil change 5 days later, both the bulb was replaced and oil changed, and I was on my way home within 45 minutes. Thank you Mick Bunch.

Got an oil change and tire rotation for my 2020 Tahoe. It took about an hour while waited in the lounge. Staff was very nice. Even though he was very busy Service Advisor Phill Stallings took time to talk to me. He surprised me by asked about my dog Luke who he remembered when I stopped in last time. Good place. Good people. I trust them.

I had my car towed because I ran over a nail. The service department made me purchase a brand new tire, saying that the tire could not be repaired. I've never had to buy a brand new tire because of a nail in a tire that had less than 20000 miles on it

They sold my mother a car with so many issues. If you do shop this dealership PLEASE TAKE A MECHANIC OR KNOWLEDGABLE PERSON. This car is a 17 , no way it should have so many issues. The windshield that they installed the day of purchase was installed incorrectly. The battery was not strapped down and they inspected it and charged for the piece to hold the battery down even though they sold it without one and passed it the prior year without one. The bumper is disconnecting even though they said the car had not been involved in any accidents. I would recommend trying another reputable dealership. This is not it.

Top notch service department. Very accommodating staff. I have been bringing my vehicle to First Team Hampton for routine maintenance every since I bought it there 3 years ago and I have always experienced the utmost treatment in customer service, all of which is the reason I continue to do business with such an amazing dealership/service department . It really says a lot about a business that continues to provide outstanding service to customers during this pandemic period . They have absolutely impressed me and far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful, full service dealership experience.

The staff were welcoming and professional. This is my second car from this dealership. My recent experience was better than the first time. I felt they understood my financial situation and made me feel in control. They weren't trying to rush me to decide. My experience has inspired family and friends to inquiry about getting a car from them. Great job!

Everyone here is excellent and very personable. They are knowledgeable and listen to your needs and are not pushy. Paul and Tim took excellent care of me and my family. They were very patient during our hesitation and our many questions. I ended up purchasing my first brand new car from them and I couldn't be happier!

I have no complaints what so ever. Made an appointment, dropped the truck off , they called when the truck was done they explained up coming repairs that would need to be accomplished in the future.

I love the way they kept in contact with me, the way that I preferred, was not pushy, or "sharky" about selling me a car. I had intentions of buying that day, and they got me the perfect car, for the perfect price, within an amazing budget and lower APR than I had expected! They were very knowledgeable and descriptive of their vehicles and how things worked, also just a happy environment

I would like to leave a review for Mr. Tim Green. He sold me a car today 10/06/20. A chevy Trax and he did an outstanding job. When I pulled up early this morning in the parking lot, he spotted me and was very attentive to me. I told him I would be back. He gave me some info on the car I was looking at and asked me what time I would be back, I told him hopefully today. Well, I went back and he did his best to get me into a car that was reliable and had good rebates and warranties because in my current vehicle I was upside down. He has great customer service skills and I know this because before I became a nurse, customer service was my thing. If he keeps this same attitude I can see him going far in this profession. I pray that God smile upon him and crest a more than successful path for him. I see great potential. Keep up the good work. Customer when you go there ask for Tim Green

They do great work and work pretty fast the only thing is they're booked constantly so you may have to wait when it's peak season or holidays. Otherwise they're great I would highly recommend them for services they do great work.

Great customer service with competitive pricing. Just bought a new 2017 CX-5 and the level of service I received through out the entire process was excellent. Ken & Marcus were great to work with and continue to help me out even after the purchase. This is a highly recommended dealership if you're looking for a Mazda or Chevrolet.

This has been the best experience! Ben Smith is a wonderful sales man. Never did I feel pressured to buy. The finance department was also excellent. They did everything to get my payments as low as they could. Ben also helped me to get my insurance paperwok.He deserves a raise.sincerely Ramona Harper

The entire staff is very patient and helpful. I was taken care of by Jasmine and she was very thorough and pleasant - made my wait worry free. This dealership does a stellar job in everything they do and I highly recommend them over any other dealership in the hampton roads area

BEST PEOPLE EVER! I came in for an oil change and realized that I had forgotten my fresh cup of coffee in the cup holder. The technician, realizing that it was a fresh cup, alerted Hannah and she brought it to me in the waiting area. Not only is the work fast and done right, but the PEOPLE are awesome.

I purchased a car from them 6 months ago. I need a truck now and am selling my car to a private party. The title for the car this dealership sold me has an issue and the state of North Carolina won t issue me a title now thats its paid off until a previous title issue is entered/resolved. The state that had it prior hasn t entered it into the system and showed it sold to their dealership. First Team Chevy Hampton Roads will not answer my calls or respond to me to help resolve this issue. They have effectively sold me a car I cannot get title to now and are doing nothing to help me. The service after the sale is abysmal. I would rate 0 stars if I could. They will not even return my call. Don t waste your time. They ll sell you a car, take your money, and send you on your way, even though the title chain isn t complete. If only they would respond so I could handle the issue. Stay clear.

They are horrible at fixing everything prior to you purchasing a vehicle. The lady was extremely rude to me when asking about why the air filter, light, and windshield wipers were not replaced prior to me purchasing a truck from this establishment. She got rude for no reason when I was speaking in a calm voice. Needless to say if you purchase a car go over everything with a fine tooth comb.

Customer service kudos, from the moment you walk in the door. My sales person Cristy listen to my list of things I want like she was going to deliver my Christmas wish early. I tried several cars in a couple of days until I felt comfortable. They practice their motto "First Team".

ML Jackson helped me purchase my first car -- it was such a pleasant experience! He went above and beyond to walk me through the process and even offered to teach me how to drive a manual if I was considering a manual version of my Mazda! Our first experience with ML's superior customer service brought us back three more times, as all members of my family purchased their current vehicles through him! I would recommend ML to anyone -- he follows up with his customers (even years later!), is attentive, and truly wants to help his customers make the best choice for their vehicle. Thanks Hampton Chevrolet Mazda! ML is great!

Ok so customer service wise yes I loved EVERYONE I interacted with they was EXTREMELY HELPFUL especially JOEY!Ok now the car I bought well leased from them the fan went out withing two months and I HAD to pay full price for it. Which I thought was ridiculous because although the car wasnt brand new it did come with TWO warranties but of course it didnt cover the fans. And even after I expressed my concerns with the vehicles' performance they still wanted to charge me just to look at it. Now I wouldn't say DONT buy from them but I will say bring a mechanic most definitely with you.

The service was excellent. I had an issue with the vehicle and they were able to assist me all the way. The sales woman took her time into finding me a suitable car and even with helping the interest of another car I was looking at in the Chesapeake location. I recommend this dealership!

Great service! Phyllis was my rep and she was wonderful I told her what liked and ended up buying the first car she showed me. Still tried a few others but the first was the best. Definately will bring my friends here.

The salesman was a bit distracted, but they had a good selection of cars. Not interested in budging off the sticker price. Good place to test drive though. Drive what you want, buy somewhere else that will negotiate from sticker price.
