Good honest people here doing great, honest automotive work with experienced mechanics and techs. They're not trying to rip anyone off but instead trying to save you money. Auto shops like these are rare!

Waited 2 weeks for an appointment paid to get it towed just for the owner to tell me he couldn t get the hood open and it s a project car

Friendly, honest and professional business! Recommend 100%! I had issues with my Volkswagen and when they did a diagnostic test two codes popped but Martin said he was going to just do a tune up first because he was pretty sure that would fix both codes. He could ve easily put a he throttle body and as well (second code) and I would ve happily paid - but he didn t, he said let s start here and it has been clear of codes and running great ever since!Love this family owned business!

Very friendly and great work! The work done on my car was first rate and the price was more than fair. Everyone there was extremely friendly and the service was done faster than they forecasted. All-around, a great experience. I highly recommend Autobahn Auto!

Great service!!! And you really listen intently to what your vehicle needs when the words come with a German accent. $900 for oxygen sensors elsewhere and $300 here. Easy pick!!

Great service! Had a 9:00 appointment, job done before 11:00! Laura and Austin were very nice and pleasant, so was mechanic...I forget to get his name. Will return and would recommend!

I can't speak highly enough of this shop! I've been a customer for 10 years and have since moved away. I was stuck on a trip and didn't know who else to call for advice. Martin came to my rescue over the phone and didn't charge anything for his knowledge that helped me after other mechanics had told me to tow my car to the junk yard. Thanks to Martin's professional guidance and advice I was able to tell a local mechanic what to do and my car is back up and running with no problems!!! Totally saved me from a huge cost and replacing a car that could be fixed. Martin's extensive mechanic schooling is always evident. If I'd had listened to these other mechanics I'd be without a car right now. Thanks again Autobahn!

Buddy and the guys are amazing. Had a complex job with my mercedes ml 350 Bluetec. They troubleshooted but couldn t find the problem. They never gave up and found the issue and fixed the problem while constantly trying to keep it affordable. Thanks guys for the great work

I have a MercedesBenz 2002 CL-55 AMG. The guys at AUTOBAHN are outstanding. If you own a foreign car these are the guys to take your car to. I have been to several dealerships to get repairs and have been ripped off. Prices are fair and the staff friendly and trust worthy. A very nice independent European auto sales and service company, run by a great German expatriate who was trained in auto repair in Germany before his arrival in the US, and who has been successfully practicing his trade in Hampton for maybe 20 years. I first met Martin when he was still running his repair-only business out of his house, and at that time he concentrated exclusively on Mercedes Benz. Over the years the business has grown, and now is housed in a very nice showroom and repair facility on Pembroke Ave. He now has a a thriving resale business (primarily German cars), and continues in his repair business that now includes working on Mercedes and other German vehicles, as well as a few other higher-end European brands.As the business has grown, Martin has resisted handing over the day-to-day activities of the company to hired employees, especially in regards to his service and repair work. For the service customer, this means that a very competent technical set of eyes and hands will examine your vehicle, and help diagnose and repair the problem, no matter how small. Although I now live too far away from his shop to be a steady customer, it's been a real treat to watch this very talented and pleasant young man grow his business over the years. Success couldn't have come to a more deserving fellow.

Don't waste your time with them. Brought my bmw to get checked out. When I would put it in drive it wouldn't move. My car sat on their lot for 2 months and they never even looked at it. I kept getting the run around....smh. I finally just picked it up and brought it to someone else. I would NEVER recommend them.

My daughter and I were traveling to Virginia Beach from the Richmind area for a mini vacation. We had travelled approximately 100 miles to Hampton, and were almost one exit away from entering the Hampton tunnel, when my car died. I managed to get it started, and out of the fast lane to the exit (having my car break down in the middle of the tunnel would have been a traffic nightmare, and I didn't want to risk it). Meanwhile, my daughter used "Siri" to locate auto shops near us, and we came across Autobahn.It was nearing 3:30-4:00, when we got to the shop. I explained our situation, and I think they saw the near panicked look on my face, because they immediately began working on a solution. They very easily could have turned us away, or charged me a crazy amount of money to get us back on the road, but they didn't. They fixed my problem quickly, and sent us on our way.I know this is a long winded review, BUT, when someone goes above and beyond to get you out of a jam, it should be commended.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! You saved us from being stranded, and saved our mini vacation!!!!

Honest people work here, which isn't always the case with automotive repair industry. They could not fix my car last time, but didn't charge me either. Certainly will come back

I ASKED ABOUT PURCHASING A PART FOR MY 84 BENZ & ASKED THEM TO ORDER IT(LUG NUTS) THEY REFUSED BECAUSE IT DIDN'T BRING THEM AND PROFIT IN ORDERING IT.
