Took my vehicle in for an alignment in February, noticed my steering wheel was not sitting straight so I called the next day and asked if I should bring it back in or if it was okay to continue driving. I was told it was good to continue driving, so I did. I brought it back in almost a month ago and was told they were not going to do anymore work on my vehicle. In my opinion, they should fix their mistake and not just come out and say they aren't going to work on it. I also did not receive a phone call, instead I drove 30 minutes just to be told that. We were also told that their alignment machine was not aligning the vehicles correctly. If you need an alignment, go to Reed Creek in Grit. All in all, I will not be giving them anymore of my business. Also to the lady at the front desk, please do lose the attitude you have when customers ask a simple question. You have no right to be getting smart with customers when questioned about their vehicles.

Don't even think about this place if you either modified your car or aren't braindead. The staff treat you like trash and give subpar service. Want an alignment, congratulations your car now pulls HARDER to the left. Great place for tires. They are courteous, honest, and quick. They also charged less than other dealers in the area, which is a huge plus. They are definitely the place I will go for any tires I need.

I would recommend Perkins Tire & Automotive in Gretna. The people treat you with respect and prices are not too bad considering today's economy. They have always been respectful to me and discussed any problems with my car. Thank-you Perkins for doing my rotors and brakes!

Not happy and will not be back!! They did not put rim back on right and fell off going down road and lost it. I called just to let them know what happened and they acted like they didn't care. Young boy that was putting new tires on was off and on his cell phone the whole time and was not paying attention to what he was doing. I simply wanted them to know that when he is working on customers vehicle he needs to stay off his cell phone and pay attention to what he is doing. I didn't wont anything from them..i just wanted to make them aware They acted like it wasn't a big deal and they didn't say sorry just whatever....I will never do business there again....Service: Tires

Staff is rude and will treat you as if you don't exist. Fast service and decent prices. Beware of purchasing used tires!!!

I cannot think of enough praises for the folks at Perkins Tire and Auto. They have always been good to me, but now that I am partially disabled, they have kindly brought me home while they worked on my car, and then delivered the car back to my home! They are very honest if the issue is something they are not able to fix and recommend the appropriate person to fix it (such as the Chevy dealership). There have been times that the issue was so easily fixed that they would not charge me. Perkins Tire and Auto was a huge benefit to living in Gretna when I moved here 3 years ago! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had to stop here off of the highway when something on the bottom of my car came loose and started making a loud noise. Matt and one other tech helped me immediately, took care of what was loose, and didn't charge me anything for the service. Really helped me out since I had to be back in NC later that day. I was just rating my auto shop where I live now.But if you are in Greta or Chatham VA, Perkins is the place I discovered when I lived there that I could trust. They do their work well. They are friendly. And their prices are reasonable. It's where I tell my kid still living thereabouts to take his car.

Perkins is a real nice local store that feels very at home. Service isn't especially fast due to there usually being only one person staffing the front office but the auto service they provide and warm atmosphere they provide it in more than make up for it.

Took my car to Perkins. Left rear whistling/grinding....thought for sureit was a wheel bearing. The guys looked it over for 20 minutes. Ricky came to me and said, "Wasn't anything big. No charge!" I was dumbfounded that he was not charging me anything. You heard it here first.TRUSTWORTHY!!! That means a lot to me !!!! 20 stars !!!

Took our Honda in for a routine oil change. Got less than an hour down the road and a horrible scraping/metal crunching sounds! Pulled over and waited 2 hours for a tow truck. Car towed to repair shop A-1 Trsnsmission and Auto Repair in Madison Heights Va. Mechanic/Owner there tells us the bolts holding the shield which was removed to change the oil were stripped completely and had come out. They were rounded off probably from using incorrect tool. Really?! If Perkins cannot do an oil change how can you trust them with anything! So I called Stanley at Perkins who said "yeah he was having a hard time with the bolts as they were stripped." Again Really. So if you are thinking of taking your car there just don't.

This is the most overpriced place i have ever seen. They charged me over $100 to put brakes on my car. And $60 of that was just for brakes that would cost about $25 if you buy them yourself.

Tried to sell us a used car battery for a new battery price we wanted a new Interstate battery but you know the outcome used and got very rude once he was busted thank God we got the full refund without the lady trying charge 3% return charge without the battery leaving the store sad what America has come to!!!!
