Great place for homeowners to find their needs. Great gardening section..often with bargains, store clean and neat, with helpful staff.Stopped by for an idea on near flooring and lighting looks here are some new pics .. think their flooring section is better not too sure they re on top with lighting unless you re seeking lamps too..

Had everything I was looking for. The gentleman who helped us in the grill in the area was extremely Pleasant and helpful to us. The store always seems clean when we go into it. Looks like they're getting their plants and for the season.

Lowe's is a well-stocked store. you can find about anything there. we buy our wood there. wood has gone way up. Can't find as many workers available as there used to be. but they are nice folks.

My husband and I were looking for the right mini blinds for my 81 year old mother. Ease of use was our main focus. Kathy showed us all the options and explained their installation and warranty policies. As my mom was not with us, we were taking extra time deciding but Kathy was very patient and very friendly. We walked out with the perfect choice for mom.

Ordered some contact paper, since it wasn't in stock. Received it the very next day! Impressed with that!Great price and it worked great on my newly bought kitchen cabinet.

I'm not sure why people looking for construction, home improvement or project material go anywhere else. The service is generally awesome, everyone is polite and helpful, the prices are low, the store is clean, they have ample registers staffed at all times and they carry all kinds of things besides construction and project materials. From returns to check out and lumber cutting, the store is great.

The store is clean and well stocked, apart from that it is like every Lowe's you've visited. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The best Lowes is in Glaucster. This works when I'm in Tappahannock. It's not as well stocked. The isles are often filled with orders making it difficult to get to products. The staff isn't nearly as helpful.

Tried to return a brand new water valve ( a 12.98 item) I bought a month ago. Nope have a receipt. Go to home depot. They are not as stupid.

This is one of our favorite places to walk around. I wish they would have more things on clearance especially on plants. We recently got our king size mattress at a very good price. Customer service is very good as well

Update: 2nd attempt to deliver dryer was made and the back of the dryer was caved in. Refused that one then went to the store and finally got a person that took the situation seriously. Thank you Jennifer (appliance manager)for going above and beyond. I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars just to show the impact 1 person can have on your customers.Ordered and paid for a new dryer, took off of work for the delivery date, when they came to install the dryer it was grinding and instantly smelled like burnt electric wires so they took it back. I get a call from them and they're telling me that they only can deliver 1 day a week to my area. I AM 20 MINUTES AWAY ON GOOGLE MAPS FROM THIS STORE! Zero consideration for their customers after purchase, absolutely zero effort to make things right.

Got washer and dryer. Luv them, however because of their computer system it took one hour to check out. Unacceptable. 1 guy to handle all orders. Impossible. Also, did not receive call day before delivery either as promised to know when 2 expect them. Also sold us wrong cord. Had 2 rebuild next day. Still one guy there 2 handle all. Nice guy. Still had computer issues again. Should never make customer wait that late

Phil at the Newport News Lowes was so helpful! We had multiple different things to buy and many questions. He stayed with us helping and even got some other options/suggestions for us that worked better. Even checked another store to see if they had something he was out of. It was an hour drive for us to get there but he made the trip successful for us. Thank you Phil in lighting

NO THANK YOU to the request I call to further discuss, I was on hold for a total of 2.5 hrs. on Saturday night, just trying to get anyone to give us information....was hung up on, "accidentally disconnected", and when someone actually said they would help, they put me on hold until they closed and couldn't take any more calls. Have now been told that because the problem is with your contracted delivery service, I can't even get a refund and cancel the order. I WILL NEVER use your company again (and, that's saying something since I said I would never buy Exxon gas after they tried so badly to deflect responsibility for the oil spill, AND, to this day I have never given them one dime of my $).Potential buyers - beware - service is NOT a quality valued by this organization - at least in my experience it is not at all evident.Delivery scheduled for 10 days after purchase. No delivery window given, just date. Day of, no delivery made, no information shared, no one to answer questions on the phone. We had tickets to a concert for 6 pm, missed the show, will never use this store again. Still (@9pm) no word and no appliance delivered. Would rate zero stars if that was an option.

I ve been meaning to post about a dude on here that helped me get a buzz saw about a month ago. His name was Caiden and he really helped me out by getting me set in the right direction. I usually don t do surveys or reviews but he asked me to to a survey in the site and unfortunately I lost my rain of thought and didn t fill it out. But his service WAS a 10. Solid guy and I d love if more people like that worked in every place of business. I ve been back about 5 times this month and haven t bumped into him yet but those that I have talked to have all exceeded in customer service. Best Lowe s I ve been to yet.

Just keeps getting worse a year ago I gave them three stars they are down. To 2. We spend time researching a thermostat. We go to a cashier. In this world of technology she can't scan the paper for the thermostat and see if it's in stock. We have to get out of line and she calls someone to check. Someone finally finds out and as we check out we guve all the info for a military discount. We check out NO military discount. Get on the long customer service line with one person attending and get our money back. I simply tell the customer service lady (terminal 12 at 1:59 memorial day)to mention or train the cashier on how to do military discount. The lady stands there FURTHER wasting my time explaining why it wasn't the ladies fault. Please get it together. We will be going Amazon.

Delivery driver was RUDE and REFUSED to put the order anywhere but a parking spot. I called and was told this was acceptable by the store but corporate said you can sign a waiver for them to drive on the grass. The manager was QUICK to jump to the defense of the employee WITHOUT any other proof than what the employee said. I feel like complaints should be taken seriously. Why would I let supplies sit in the rain, in the open, for someone to steal because the driver didn't want to do his job. I then offered to have my neighbor help take it off to the APPRORIATE location and he driver said he wasn't going to do that either. NO ONE WOULD COMPROMISE and wanted to drop it in the parking spot. The driver then got mad and took it back to the store. Called the store manager and he didn't even take my complaint seriously. BAD BAD BUSINESS. Not sure why they think this is unacceptable and didn't off the waiver to drive on the grass AFTER I GAVE THEM PERMISSION TO. The driver was lazy but the store manager really upset me the most basing his decision OFF OF ON SIDE and not just apologizing for the driver being lazy and not giving me the waiver. No one should have to argue with the delivery driver about where they want the supplies delivered to. This is unacceptable! Please do better. Bad days happen laziness isn't an excuse. Store Manager-next time be humble and accept your driver didn't provide the great service he was suppose to provide. It is ok to say he messed up and should have offered the waiver instead of stating how he tried his best. Have a great day! Hope no one else's delivery goes this way moving forward!

Bad experience in paint department. Very unhelpful and poorly trained. Employee kept saying they never really trained me and just threw me in here. It shows. SW machine was broken. A disabled customer beside me asked for help about wax products for chalk paint. The employee shrugged and said i don t know, and the customer scootered away. Just overall, a disappointing experience for Lowes.

Today's visit was disappointing. I had recently purchased numerous gallons of Valspar mixed color stain for 3 large decks. Went back today because I needed additional Pro Pad applicators and pads. While shopping I also decided to purchas a new electric smoker while there. I was going up/down the aisles (with electric smoker in the basket) searching for the applicators & pads. No one was around to ask where they had moved them to and while searching the stain products aisle, was asked to move my basket and myself so stock could be put up. Rude! *within the last month I have also purchased a refrigerator & dishwasher-that will need a separate review!

I spent over a week doing some overhaul home renovations, and a lottt of paint was purchased. Pete A in paint was always helpful, found my prior orders , gave great advice, and made things more fun ! Wonderful service every time !

Our first night we had great help from Pete in the paint section and he helped us pick the best color & finish for our accent wall! Garrett was also a huge help getting our sink and soap dispenser we were looking for. He went above and beyond going up the ladder to double check the top of the shelves and went to get us a different cart for all of our things. Tonight we went back to get another color paint and Leanne was as sweet as she could be and had wonderful customer service as well! We love our hometown Lowes!

It was hard to find someone to help me. But once i did the older white guy that was over there at plumbing was great. He took his time helping me get 2 side splashs for my vanity. Very patient. I wish i remember his name. This happened at 7 p.m. I'm truly grateful for his service and it was all good coming all the way from Newport news. And the cashier checking me out was nice as well. Thanks for making my drive a pleasant 1

What a great place! Popped into the store to grab some lightbulbs. Was alittle lost, so Jen was able to assist me. She called over the representative (who was a Veteran) who handled that area of then store. Both employees were friendly, professional and helpful when I needed it. For checking out, I was able to use my veteran s discount and Bryanna was awesome. Got me checked out in no time, all while holding a smile, laughing and telling me about warranty information for Mario Brothers headphones I had purchased. Thank you for the small town touch in customer service, this customer truly appreciate it.
