Needed my battery charged it was completely dead. Lisa charged my battery overnight. I was so relieved because I thought I needed a new battery. I highly recommend advanced auto and ask for Lisa she really knows what she is doing! Thanks again.

This was only my 2d time visiting. By coincidence, the lady, short haircut, was the same employee that took care of me. I needed to get a code check. She got the materials needed, but since there was only her and another employee, which he was already outside taking care of a customer before me, she said I would have to wait until he was back in the store. The store can't be unattended. Fair enough. So wait, I did. About 12-15min. Another customer, older gentleman, came into the store. He needed a windshield wipers replaced. She told him the same thing, so now we were both waiting. I waited longer than him. When the other employee was done and entered the store the lady grabbed both jobs to assist the man and I. We followed. She then tells me that she was going to do the man's wiper blades 1st and then my code check. I then tell her I really need to get going to an oil change appt. I didn't even mention that I was in pain and I also had knee brace. The smirk on this women's face that I would interject my comment and wanted to go before the gentleman that came in after me was beyond belief. As though I should not even ask. The gentleman then said, that's fine she can go 1st. Did I really need his permission. Gets better. She inserted the code in my car, and I thought and asked ", don't you need the car on 1st." I had the keys in my hand & wanted to give it to her. She turns and looks at me once again. Now she looks irritated. How dare I. This procedure took about 60-70 seconds max to complete. I know replacing 2 windshield wipers would take much longer than 70 sec. What bothered me was that she thought it was ok to do what she was about to do without even asking if I would mind. The answer is, yes, I would mind. Being that said. I would still consider going there, but that would be after looking at other auto stores 1st. Basically, they used to be my 1st auto store option if I needed an auto item. They just got bumped to my last option.

I had to purchase a new rear windshield wiper blade and did so the week before this visit. Came in to have it installed and was told nobody there knew how to do it. One gentleman did come out to attempt installation, but was unable, saying the whole assembly had to come off, which turned out to be not the case. I went home and went online to YouTube and see how to do it for my particular vehicle and it was easy peasy. Otherwise, the staff members were kind and attentive, just inexperienced with this particular issue.

I ve always had good experiences here; the employees are very helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to help you if need be.Today I asked for a load test to be done on my battery, and Vince was happy to come out to my truck and test it. He listened to me explain the problems I d been having with the vehicle and gave a number of helpful suggestions that sound very promising; I can t wait to try them out. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and polite, and actually took the time to teach me when I didn t understand.In brief, I had an EXCELLENT experience here with Vince today and highly recommend this store and this employee! Thank you Vince!!!

Terrible store. Just like most advanced. Nothing on the shelf you need. 3 people standing around can't ask if you need help. The other day I went and they acted like they knew what they were talking about with an attitude then turns out they had no idea. Typical. Maybe if advanced would pay their employees more and pay the people that make their parts more they might have some more success.

Had to wait a while before being waited on because both salespersons were already busy. She had 2 persons ahead of me and was faster than the gentleman that helped a customer. The salesperson that assisted me was helpful and she was knowledgeable with regards to her job.

Bought a battery, didn t receive a receipt went back a day later and they can t print one. One was sent to my email allegedly and my account on file but they didn t check very well because now I m calling customer service to receive a receipt, make sure you receive a receipt in the store!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just plain racist! The lady with the short black hair acts like you don t even exist unless you re white. Ridiculous behavior!

Got some Ultra white headlights for the Civic. Still nice people working there and very helpful. Prices are kinda high but they are high quality bulbs.

Husband is out of town I needed help the minute I gave him the model he said sorry go to the dealer. It was just antifreeze. Not polite or considerate or helpful.I updated this review because the employee that created the bad experience during a time of need is no longer employed at this store. There is a woman who works there and us known as the Inventory Guru she helped me find a tiny bulb for my husband's truck and did it with speed and courtesy. She salvaged my opinion of this store and won back my business.

Called in part prior to getting there. It was ready but couldn't be found. Customer service from one particular man was disgraceful and definitely not welcoming. This is the 3rd time we have had the same gentleman check us out, and his "I'm not to be bothered attitude" is too much to deal with. I will drive to a different AD auto from now on, even if it is extra time and gas. I can do without someone speaking to me in a condescending manner. Some people are just not meant to work with the public.

Needed battery replaced , went to Advance Auto. Employee looked up make and model of vehicle in the store manual (Ford Fusion). Told me it required professional installation . I informed him the battery could be replaced by removing three bolts. He refused to even look. Asked me to leave as he unable to assist me due to what his manual said.Went to O Reilly s auto parts, young lady changed it out in ten minutes.Will not return to advance again. O Reillys has earned my business.

I have had a sour experience every time I visit this store whether I am getting something simple like wiper blades and oil or need a specialty part like a lower control arm. The staff are rude and seem like they just don't care about what you need and god forbid you need to ask them a question. They never seem to have the parts I need for the incredibly common 5.3 motor I have in my Chevy Tahoe. I will go to O'Riellys for the parts I need in the future. STAY CLEAR OF THIS STORE!

Got a battery that was in stock. Well stocked store in all areas. Friendly staff. Offered to install but needed it as take out. Gave instant rebate on trade in. Recommend.

My family and I were traveling from Maryland when we started experiencing some electrical issues with the display in our vehicle. It was getting late in the evening and we had been traveling for 4 hours. We had planned on taking our vehicle to a local dealership in the morning, but decided we should check the battery before doing so. We arrived at Advanced Auto Parts about 30 minutes before closing. Steve said he could check my battery and see if that was the issue. Sure enough, the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Under the circumstances, they normally would not change out the battery for us due to make/model of the vehicle or the type of battery we needed (I can't recall the reason).Steve graciously changed our battery and made sure the vehicle was working properly before we went on our way. It's not often you see someone willing to go the extra mile as Steve did. I wish him well and best of luck to him and his family.

The gentleman that helped me put my windshield wiper blades on was so kind. He explained that the rear blades come with different attachment pieces for different vehicles. He talk with me while he installed all 3 blades.

I have a problem. It's that I'm a guy, I like tools, and I like deals. So your altenator goes out, where do you go? Right. Here. How do you know it's the alternator? Unless you have the tools you arent sure. They test it. FOR FREE. It's a Saturday, shops aren't open, you dont have the tools. What are you gonna do?! No need to fear, you can rent your tools here! I really did not mean for that to rhyme. But anyway, anything car, they can help.

Older man who was very dismissive. I knew the parts did not sound correct to what my husband wanted but this guy insisted. He also did not give me the receipts. Guess what, wrong parts! Husband said to go to Auto Zone...shoulda listened!

Very slow customer service. Customer service representative did not appear to want to help after standing in line, with one rep working register and the other standing directly in front of me putting up stock seeing I had been waiting for a period of time
