This place has huge parking area for truck drivers. The inside is clean and tidy as were the women's restrooms. The convenience store has so many kind of snacks, sodas and food to go that you could ever want. The buffet also has a huge assortment to choose from as well. The waitresses that were working today were very friendly and attentive. At least, mine was. I really like stopping here every now and then. I have no complaints.

This is a good petro. Huge lot that hardly ever fills up. Inside was very clean and well maintained. Fuel islands were very clean. The girl at the fuel desk was very busy, but had time to smile and be friendly. I recommend this truck stop.

Cleaned up since the last time. I mainly hold the "drivers" responsible when it gets trashed up unless the actual trash is overflowing, etc. Trash was emptied, clean window water for the windows, ok squeegees.

Good place to stop for gas and goods. Right off 81. Caters to truck drivers but also to non truck drivers.

I filled my car up there 3 days ago, thinking I was getting good gas cause it s a major stop, but I believe at this point their gas is terrible for your vehicle. My oar is reading .67 good gas is -1.00 oar. Alright gas is 0.00 anything above is terrible gas likely watered down and terrible for your engine

I had an alignment done here , they sent in a young kid with shaggy hair looking like he came right out of the movie Pineapple Express to work on the job.Needless to say my steering was still pulling to the right and when I got it checked up again . 2 bolts was missing from the job . I had to get it realigned somewhere else and wasted 300 of my hard earned money here . I d could ve died , worst take a few with me by accident.For equipment services This place is Very unprofessional, very rude services . Slow . unsafe , and unfit for this economy. I d advice you take your equipment somewhere else and be sure to passed by this place and don t stop for whatsoeverThe restaurant is friendly .. but that s about it ..

Took out the Iron Skillet and put a Sbarro's Pizza in its place. How many pizza joints does that make at this exit alone now, three? Whomever made this decision needs help. Rearranged the store so that now it has even less than before. Even the coolers have a limited selection. I thought truck stops were trying to cram everything they could into the stores. This place is disappointing now. Used to be a great place to stop for a break. Good for parking and restrooms, that's about it.

This place has been here at least 25 years, I give 4 stars for consistency of service. The reserved parking is 18 dollars, I can always find parking. Their thanksgiving dinners have been better than you might think, I ve been caught here for 6 years in row on thanksgivingDay. The prices are high but if you order a Steak it s always just right.

Plenty of parking, clean lot, only issue is first few spots along the fence in front are not full-sized spots. Modern washers and dryers in what I can assume is a laundry and lounge together. Showers were clean, decent size for a big person. Restaurant was alright, nothing to write home about. Overall, good experience.

Great place to do your reset with lots of parking. Food was great with a great staff. Showers were great. The best of all was the service I got at the shop. We had alot of things going on and the owner Travis was sure on the ball with his guys. They did everything I needed and took the time to listen to me and also educate me. They did great great great in a timely manner on all issue's. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Professionals indeed.

First time here really loved it the staff is really nice and professional poor lady cleaning the shower was sweating but still did a good job cleaning everything water pressure was fantastic, the food here is amazing at the time I arrived (6:PM) had plenty of truck parking will come back here for sure

Not just for truckers.... there's something for everybody !Of course there are many amenities for the truckers including a full service shop with mobile tire service oil changes weigh scale ATM Western Union and much more.if your kids are a little restless traveling there's a nice game room there that's age appropriate. A full table service dining room with lots of space for social distancing. The convenience store has a wide selection of travel necessities more than just snacks and drinks. And they also have a new hot bar especially for folks who are on the go and want something quick to munch on while they're traveling. Gourmet coffee and last but certainly not least touch-free, clean,ample size restrooms with an attendant on duty to make sure they stay clean.

Great Peto truckstop located off of super busy I81 in Southern Virginia. Huge parking lot and clean facilities. Restaurant is closed currently and under construction to become what looks to be a Sbarro pizza joint, but they have a mobile kitchen set up out front with some really tasty food sold inside the building. (The fried fish plate was epic!!) It's not the building or the food that makes this place 5 stars all day though, it is the amazing hospitality I encountered, Some of the best in the whole country! They treated me better than my own mother! The amazing service here truly makes this place stand out from the others. The epitome of genuine southern hospitality!

Please, to the restaurant crew at this truck stop, >>if it s not fresh, don t serve it<< >>>throw it out<<<, you can claim the losses in the taxes, the government don t want you to serve people bad food. I didn t wanted to be rude because the staff was friendly and attentive and I didn t know how to say that the food was not fresh, I was embarrassed to point out the food was rotten and I shouldn t. If the broccoli has black dots, its already old and bad. If the fish is sour and has a strong fishy smell is not good, it should be soft to the palate, Good luck.The men restroom has a very strong smell, is very very very strong, it s so strong that it will make the strongest stomach upset after a few minutes in there.

Love this stop for 4 reasons...1. Shower pressure was good. My hair feels well rinsed and bathrooms smelt and looked clean2. The ac works gr83. The lunch buffet wings were really good and I like the kidney beans, cooked beets, and peas/carrots. Pot roast was good too.4. The inside didn't smell like old, b/o, mildew like other do.Thank you to everyone and their customer service.

Walked into restaurant dirty tables everywhere.Salad bar has dirty stuck on food on plates and bowls for soups are dirty.Got maybe 3 Napkins with Mellow Mushroom on them.. how dare we ask for more.Stale croutons..Place was not that busy, obivously a lazy waitress that has better things to do like play on her phone during working hoursI used to work and own my own restaurants and this is a severe disgrace!!

Past 3 fast food truck stops to do a 34 with a sit down restaurant. Nope.....another one gone. Guess I am supposed to eat expensive Pizza for the next two days.Change your website. You do NOT have an Iron Skillet. You are not a truck stop....you are a convenient store.

I have been coming here for over 12 years as a local. I have many good experiences here, but over the last year the shops service has dropped sharply and of has today, I will no longer use their shop due to the 1st shift lies and not communicating with second shift when they come in. Plus all the 1st shift mechanics were just barely working. They were milking the clock till it was time to leave even to the point that I witnessed them talk for up to 10 to 20 minutes at a time. Just carrying on laughing and such. I have met the owner several times and he is a very good person. I don't believe he knows this is going on, which is sad. I know company trucks are forced to go there, but if your an O/O I suggest not to go there unless it's an emergency.

The last 2 times my family has ordered takeout, we have been horribly disappointed. The first time we all ordered burgers & fries. The burgers were burnt & dry...they were like eating shoe leather. The last time our order wasn't even correct. We got the wrong items & I stood in line for 10 mins to pay and get our food. I even had to wait after paying while the cashier rang up other customers. This used to be a favorite place to eat but the service and food has certainly not been up to it's usual. Greatly disappointed!

Long line trying to get team shower. So I went to counter and the young snob lady refused to do it for me and told me to just use the kiosk! After walking away the older nice lady called me over and helped me out. Thank u. The shower was cold to sometimes warm water but barely. The buffet was great and server was awesome.

Good service in the store and restaurant. Got what we needed at the shop to fix our AC. The lady at the showers gave us the larger shower and extra towels. Very polite and courteous. It was a good stay.

Parking lot is huge but it can get crowded really fast. Clean showers and friendly staff.

This review is mainly for the shop. I had PM done and also minor repairs(replace alternator). The Work was swift and professional. Prices were standard and fair. Coffee and a clean restroom were provided in the waiting area.

This is a franchise Petro travel center. It is open twenty-four hours a day 7 days a week. The restaurant is currently closed for renovations. They're putting in a Sbarro's Pizza and possibly one or two other restaurants in a food court atmosphere.

No Handicap Parking for the big trucks... Not good. Isn't it illegal not to have at least a space or two for the disabled? Even the closest pay spot is a small hike for someone with mobility and/or breathing issues.

Sadly my husband is a trucker and has to deal with nothing but fast food at many truck stops! He got excited thinking something good was coming to Glade. Then, of course....You all decide to add ANOTHER PIZZA PLACE!!!!! How many pizza places can one small town have!??? What a shame Petro! You took a home-cooked restaurant away from so MANY truckers, and didn't even care. I honestly think you screwed up after letting Milestone go!!! Best thing that ever hit this entire area.

The place stunk outside and was dirty. Tbe bathrooms was outdated and dirty. Lady at counter wasnt very friendly. Coffee selection was a minimum. The crosant breakfast bread was so dry it waw chalky and as hard as the paper it was wraped in. My husband was thoroughly impressed. At how bad it was. Also the masking tape around it like a pkg was a rather unclassy touch. We love our pilot flying j stores but we were out of fuel and had to stop!!!! Step it up petro!!!!

Sad shame to remove nice sit down restaurant for drivers to enjoy and take a break with good food to replace it with a pizza joint.....come on really. I guess it's nice to wake up at 5 am and get pizza and a sod !!! No thanks I'll keep.on stepping to the 243

Company requested that I maintenance their trailer, stopped in the Petro last night at 6:20pm. The company approved the PM request last night and I was instructed to park out front and off to the right and that I could go ahead and take a nap or go to sleep and they would call. This is the usual process.... phone ringer was in high yet no call came?!It is now 12 hours later 8:50am and only after I went in and instructed them that I was leaving was I asked to "pull to bay 3" maintenance on a 2019 trailer is a very quick job. And yet I am now wasting my time sitting around waiting on these unprofessional, inconsiderate, a-holes who cant even keep track of first in first out.The restroom in the waiting area for the shop looks like a poo bomb had exploded, poorly lit, standing water on the floor "I hope it was water now that I think about it"...... ewwThe restuarant is in the gas station building and is prefect, very well cleaned, nicely lit with wonderful people.Just goes to show that management is key and this shop is tolerated in such a craptastic fashion. Last visit to this location.
