I had my car serviced for AC issues a while back and was told my compressor and expansion valve was bad. They said they drained and filled with dye for leaks, etc and quoted me over $1,300 to fix and with inferior aftermarket, not OE parts. Charged me $160+.Went to my old mechanic about an hour away and had them look at it and they did the same and they said there was nothing wrong. Low freon and possibly air in the system. They did not see any dye. Was charged $140+.

Great, fast, friendly service. Called a couple hours before closing to see if I could get a tire in to patch. They didn t hesitate to accommodate me. It was ready in about an hour with time to spare. Heading to VA Beach the next morning so it was much appreciated!! I ll definitely be back in the future.

Really thankful for the team at VA Tire. A brand new tire ended up with a metal shard in it, and unable to plug. The tires we bought were purchased online, so rather than buy some rando brand tire on the fly, the guys relieved any anxiety I had about the unfortunate circumstances and put my spare in at no charge. I appreciated them getting me safely back on the road until my new tire matching the others arrived.

Went here last week only for an alignment which was done but the mechanic broke my brake line, I couldn t drive it, so I asked if they would fix it at no cost which I thought was the most fair because it was the mechanics fault for breaking my brake line, so I just accepted they wouldn t do anything about it so we take it out and me and my brother pick it up the next day. We fix the brake line but my brother told me that the driver side tire is awfully aligned and that I had to take it back since I have warranty. I take it back and the pictures above are from today. I told the guy at the front desk that how is this acceptable to be considered aligned and I was told that means you need a new tire my tries are perfectly fine, treads worn down a tiny bit but still there s no reason for that wheel to be that off compared to the passenger side. This place is a scam

Worst experience ever. Scheduled an appointment days in advance to ensure tires would be available and they were not. I was basically told tough luck, you ll have to wait hours for them to get here and then charged an extra from what I was initially quoted. I ve been a customer for over 20 years, used to be anyway.

This place has fell of in a bad way. First, they never open on time and normally 15 minutes late. Next, I had 2 tires i bought online and had put on there. On day 2, one of the tires went from 32psi to 17 and i thought a nail. I went back there and he wanted to charge me $60 so i left. I went to NTB and they found that the tires were not installed properly, the sealing that was required was not done so I paid them to fix it. I will never go here again!

We came here being stranded on the side of the road and it started with their excellent phone customer service. 30 minutes before it was time for them to close, we got here in time they changed it they were so friendly! My daughter even said this was the best day of her life, because the customer service was wonderfuland she got a little stuffed puppy out of it and a necklace! For servicemen had the AC running and we were on our way back to Tennessee. Thank you so much mr. Tire! Because I had issues with AAA!!!!!

Dissapointed. I purchased 4 tires from The Tire Rack and selected Mr Tire from the list of installers. Everything went well with the whole experience until I got my car back from Mr Tire and was on my way home. I checked the pressure through the car's TPS and found none of the pressures were set properly. The car's spec pressure is 35psi for all tires, I had 2 at 38 psi, 1 at 40 and another at 42. It was a hot day but they clearly hadn't be setup correctly, when I got home I double checked using my handheld gauge and it agreed with the car's TPS. I then bled the pressure down to 35 all around and while doing so I noticed lots of lubricant that had spun off and dried to the sidewalls of all tires and some on the car. Lastly I noticed that 2 of the valve stem covers were black and the other 2 were silver colored. When i brought the car in they were all silver. These are all small and easily correctable things but all together they add up to a dissappointing experience. I won't be going back to them.

My car was problem with the noisy when I turned left , and I believed in Mr Tire. After they checked , they found Whell bearing right fron, ok I paid $864.36 for the service. But after they fixed it , the noise still was there but was too late like 8PM so the mechanic told me 2 days later bring it back because tomorrow was his day off . 2 days later, I broght it back and they found the other problem was the axle front and fixed service was over $800 . I did not trust them. I was very sure that was the bearing they fixed not right. 1 week later I brought my car to my uncle checked and he said my guess was true. I broght my car to the store again and they still confirmed I needed to replace axle. Then, i went to my uncle and replaced new bearing and the noise dissapeared. I called them for the refunding my money because they was not right and did not fix my car but they rejected . I was very dissapointed . If google have 0 start , i would rate for this store

I have been using this shop for tire/wheel swaps for a few years and they always take great care of my wheels and me. They were booked solid for 3 days one time and I went to another local shop, that will never happen again! The other shop tore up my brand new wheels. They are great communicators, take care of your items and I have enjoyed working with them. A specific thanks to Scott and Gene for all their help!

I came in person to fix the tire but they told me its 2 hrs wait, so I scheduled appointment to come later thet evening. After getting my keys, they told me the machine is broken and they cannot fix the tire, it appeard they were busy with other work to finish before closing. What a hassle. They wasted my time.

Wouldn t take a simple alignment job said there would be too much labor involved. Didn t even have it on a lift just looked at it. So I Went to the one in manassas they did it in 20 minutes perfectly just had to waste my time and gas driving down there. Manassas guys did a great job these guys seem to be afraid of work

I had a disappointing experience at Mr. Tire. Despite waiting at the counter for 20 minutes, no one attended to me to write my ticket for the alignment service, leading me to leave without the service. Improvements in customer service are needed.

Much like my first time doing business with Mt. Tire, once again, this company was available to my needs, had ample inventory of what I needed, could squeeze me in on an hour's notice, and gave me a fair price. With the other options out there, I'd be waiting almost a week and likely pay a bit more so, I'll be back for sure!

I had ordered a set of 4 tires for installation (tires to be delivered to shop), and when I went in for my appointment time, they discovered that only 2 of my tires had made it. They went out of their way to make sure that I was able to get the tire change the following day with as little inconvenience as possible. I feel that they went above and beyond what was expected. I appreciate their service and will return.

This place deserves a -10 star rating, WHAT A SCAM, I was on my way to New York when I hit a pothole on the road and looked for a nearby location to get the alignment done so this place popped up, called them and they said Yes we can do it and don't worry we have Mercedes Certified mechanic took it in, after an hour I got my car back with the same problem, and the steering wheel was not even straight. When I called them, they stated we completed it according to Mercedes standards, took it to a Mercedes shop, and they told me the alignment was never done. (I went to Mercedes the next day). Mr. Tire was contacted for a refund, they refused. Very unethical and unprofessional. Stop scamming the citizens.

Had to change my review to one star because I woke up to a brand new tire that Mr. Tire installed flat the next morning. Was told that they might have damaged my valve stem or maybe even the entire wheel on which the tire was mounted.I experienced none of these problems prior to Mr. Tire installing my tires.

I would like to sing many praises about this location of Mr. Tire. I brought my car in for noise that sounded like it was in the front end when braking so I wanted a brake assessment. We have used this location multiple times before.Kenny the manager called me and recommended brake fluid exchange and rear brakes. He told me that my front brakes were checked and had 1/2 life left and did not need to be changed yet. I was perplexed by this due to the noise, but reminded myself I am not a mechanic in any way and agreed to the recommended services. When I left the facility I still noticed some noise when braking but many resources told me that some noise could be normal with new brakes and would improve over time.Over a few weeks I noticed the noise did not get any better so we called and they got us right back in. After some initial confusion/disagreement with the front desk (I was told paperwork said I had declined to have front brakes done at my recent service and my car needed front brakes) I received a call from Kenny who was very respectful. He confirmed that he had not recommended the front brakes be done as they had only looked at the pads. Upon further more in depth inspection this time, they discovered I actually did need front brakes.In the end a business admitted their side of fault in this and apologized that speaks volumes to me! In addition, Kenny provided my front brake service for free. This was above and beyond what I expected to be done but shows you the value they hold in top quality customer service. They are worthy of your business in my humble opinion!

Staff were friendly and attentive, my vehicle was ready the same day, new tires are good quality and ride is comfortable. Only negatives were the sleazy tactics of attempting to charge for the more expensive installation w/ Lifetime warranty on the tires (employee didn t bother to ask if I wanted the lower-priced standard installation, which I did and made him change it) and also I didn t want the 4-wheel alignment but got the pressure sales pitch that it was really needed

I scheduled an appointment for 1:30 and arrived promptly. The customer "service" rep, Mr. Laws told me that it would be about 1.5 hours so I decided to wait. I noticed that they didn't move my truck until 2:00. I waited patiently until 4:00 and was told that it would be another 45 minutes. At 5:00 I asked again and was told it would take another half hour. At 5:35, my truck was finally ready. All this just to have the air conditioner recharged with Freon. Mr. Laws didn't even offer any discount for my inconvenience. I will not return to Mr.Tire.Edit: Three days later, Mr. Tire responded to my review and offered a $100 credit for my inconvenience. Since I had already indicated that I would not return to Mr. Tire, I asked if there was anything else they could do for me. The response was "No" so I thanked them for wasting more of my time.

They are nice and will do a courtesy alignment check but the cost will be high for the actual service ($129 for one axle alignment). Service is a bit slow as well. Otherwise very typical tire shop.

I was traveling home to NC from NY - and my tire light came on unexpectedly. I stopped at Mr. Tire where Kenneth was able to do me a huge favor being very generous to look at my tire pressures & each tire. I appreciate Kenneth & Mr. Tire looking out for my safety being an unexpected customer !

Got me in fast to check my tires. Found a nail in one and we're able to put in the two new tires in under 90 minutes so I could take my daughter back to college. Super friendly and comfy waiting room. Price was higher than I expected, but had to get it done and they did it asap.

This place is terrible. 3.5 hours for an oil change. Tried to convince me the transmission takes 7 liters I questioned it and he doubled down that it s liters not quarts.Oil change comes with a tire rotation and a brake inspection. Tire rotation didn t happen till I asked. When I asked after about the brakes no one had any idea and then came back with a brand new . I know these brakes are a year old with an average of 1000 miles a week being driven on them so this lie was obvious.They declined to do the transmission service as they didn t know how to empty the fluid and add more fluid. Their techs aren t trained for that according to their manager.Definitely not worth the time or the money.

I came in with a flat tire that did not look repairable but the team at Mr. Tire in Gainesville were able to find the tiny nail and patched the hole for $37. I only waited about half an hour and Dan at front desk delivered outstanding customer service over the phone and in person... he was very polite, professional and friendly. I will certainly return when it's time to buy all 4 new tires.

This place is great. Daniel G took care of my car quickly and it was so easy. In a time when things can be so hard to get done, he made it a breeze. I had an old Toyoda and it needed a safety inspection. I asked for them to look at an oil leak and they gave me the best quote in town. They also checked out other parts of my car and gave me great advice to get things taken care of. I shopped around and found that they had the best price and are very honest about what needed to be done and what was not needed. Other places were not as honest. They saved me hundreds of dollars. So I bring all my cars here when maintenance is needed. It's hard to find honest auto services. Customer service is great as well. High five! Great service!
