Overall, a good service. Appointments should vary by inventory. Would save yourself and your potential clients some time and money having the correct parts on hand the first time. Great service team overall. Shop and store are very well kept.

They rotated and balanced my tires. It was quick, about 45 minutes. I do think I have to take the vehicle back to check the balance because I feel some shaking. Everyone was friendly.

As a customer, I expect prompt and fair service, especially for something as routine as an oil change. Unfortunately, my recent visit to the Walmart Auto Center was far from satisfactory.Initially, I was told that there was only one car ahead of me. However, after a 45-minute wait, it became evident that other cars were being prioritized over mine. This delay extended my wait time to over two hours, which is unacceptable for a simple oil change.The situation was only addressed after I felt compelled to speak to the manager, which should not have been necessary. As a person of color, this experience left me feeling unfairly treated and overlooked. While I cannot definitively say that my race was the reason for the delay, the overall experience was disheartening.Based on this experience, I would advise others, particularly people of color, to consider alternative locations for their auto service needs. It's important to patronize businesses where you feel valued and treated with respect, regardless of who you are.

Had a tire blow out on the interstate 5 mins from Front Royal Wal-Mart. Google showed they closed at 7pm, the tow company had my tire off and was going to run it to Wal-Mart at 6:30 to have them throw a new tire on my rim so we could get off the side of the interstate safely for the night. We called Wal-Mart Auto Center to let them know the tow truck was on his way to them and they told us sorry we are not taking anymore tire services for the day and adviced us it would be ok to just sleep in the RV tonight where we were until they opened the next morning. Its a shame and disgrace that they couldn't stay over an extra 10mins just to help out in an emergency.

This review is for the Walmart Auto Care Center. Riverton Commons Drive, Front Royal, VA.Pro's: price, selection, service deskCon's: wait times, scheduling appointmentsFirstly, this is the 3rd set of tires I've bought and had installed here. Prices are great but the auto center is incredibly slow. I mean extraordinarily slow! Be prepared to wait for several hours (even with an appointment). Seems to be 3 - 4 hours on average. The service desk is friendly and helpful though. Hours are from 7am to 8pm but you cannot schedule same-day appointments, or appointments after 5pm. That makes it tough to get in here without missing work, or coming in on a weekend. Saved about $100 on a set of tires, but dont know if I have the time/patience to do it again.

I scheduled my appointment on the phone and the associate was nice enough and helped me through the process as I have never bought tires for my vehicle before and I was not knowledgeable. They scheduled my appointment for the next day for the installation of the tires. Unfortunately, when I got there, someone had bought the tires that were supposed to be put on my vehicle and the only suggestion I received was to go to another location, which I did not have time for. Had anyone mentioned or recommended to me on the phone that I should buy the tires online to ensure they would go on my car, I would have done so. I won't be making appointments at this location again, I rather pay more and have a guarantee.

I had an emergency tire situation one morning before work this week. They were able to get me in fairly quickly, were SUPER friendly and kind, and did their best to find me the most affordable option, making the whole experience stress free. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name at the front, but we had a great little chat and he was so helpful!

My experience with this place is they damaged my wheel by installing wheel weights in the incorrect location that hit my caliper and gouged my factory wheel. They expect me to pay for damages due to their negligence out of my pocket.They created distrust and expect me to trust that they will reimburse for damages I asked for their garage keepers insurance information and was refused the information because it's not over $500.As the nation's largest retailer there should have morals about what is right and what is wrong. This front royal va service center needs to be shut down.Service: Tires

I have been to the Front Royal Walmart auto care center MULTIPLE times with different family vehicles since 2010 . I have not run into one single negative or bad issue. In fact we are delighted at the prices and are very thankful that the services that we have used are VERY affordable. brand new tires, balancing, oil changes, tire mounting, installing new wiper blades...etc. as far as WAIT TIME...well, guess what, all you motorists! you got to be patient and of course there is a wait time ....because we are all hoping to get our vehicles serviced. Deal with it! and ya wont be disappointed with their service

I had to unexpectedly get my battery replaced and they got me right in, both staff that assisted were very kind and helpful. Made the process very easy. I REALLY don't like shopping and the staff make you feel like you're a bother, so this was a very pleasant experience.

Now they take appointments however even with an 8am appointment the vehicle wasnt taken back until 9:20am. The associate screwed up the order on my prior car service and put the wrong tires on and didnt add road hazard as requested. Should of realized with the first vehicle issues not to bring this one in or at a minimum came in with lower expectations. Assistant manager was polite though I admit I wasn't so kudos to her for keeping her cool with me which is why the two stars instead of one.

I needed a fully Synthetic oil. The team in the tire department helped me out and chose the right one for me. Very curtious and helpful. Even the cashier was completely polite. It's about 45 minutes from home but it would be worth the drive to get service done there. Thanks to all involved at the Front Royal Walmart tire and lube department. Very professional.

There was no wait for a simple oil change when I first arrived. After almost two hours, I went outside to see if my car was done. Luckily, it was, but I learned when reading the receipt that it had been done for almost 30 minutes. No one had bothered to notify me even though I sat waiting right in the service area. I had even checked the status after an hour and a half and was told the car was not ready yet. Also, when I got back in the car, I noticed that the steering wheel was all greasy. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location.

I was actually at the Walmart pickup area. They provide friendly service. Team Walmart does a great job. I totally appreciate their hard work.

Horrible service, wasted 3 hours for them to tell me they wouldn't mount my tires because they weren't the original size for my truck. I had no problem signing a waiver since i ordered larger tires for my truck. Still wouldn't mount them, they said they would rub and the manager didn't want to mount them. My money will go elsewhere from now on.

Need a nail removed from a rear tire. Got here last night at 5:30 and was turned away as they were closing at 6. Got here at 7:00 this morning, second in line. 8:30 now and my car still hasn t been looked at. Stay away from here if you re looking for speedy service!

I took my chevy cobalt there to get a headlight fixed that was out. I was told 5 mins later that the bumper had to be dropped in order to do so. The techs working seemed to be playing around with the woman at register. Anyhow, I did myself in 20 mins no bumper needed to be dropped. Dishonest people and that's why they have 3 stars. I had to give 1 star because it made me do so. Otherwise 0 stars!!

My wife and I are traveling from Delaware to Fort Polk, Louisiana because we are moving for the Army. While on I-66 there was construction and my wife blew a tire. After changing the spare we came here and they had us in and out with enough time to eat at Cracker Barrel! Mighty fine job I'd say.

Got there 8 hours before they closed for an oil change. I was told due to a tire sale they were booked up. Hmmmm. You are turning away your regular customers for ones just showing up for a sale

Usually quick oil change service while you shop but cases of them forgetting to replace the drain plug or tighten the oil filter have occurred.

They have a lot of tires, and spares of many sizes to select from. Being part of walmart means you can get some cheap tires.
